Sexual dysfunctions concerning women with multiple sclerosis (MS) are common. Since the disease preferably affects young individuals when establishment of family occurs, the result of these problems have a great impact on the individual and her family. The purpose of this literature review is to throw light upon these problems and respond the questions if the nurse may be the right person to give sexual counselling and in which way this may be done. The theoretical framework was Antonovsky´s concept "sense of coherence". The result is presented in four themes: bodily aspects, social aspects, information/counselling, and practical implications for nurses.

This study is based on interviews with four managers in public elderly care and four managers in private elderly care. The aim of this paper is to examine how these managers are experiencing their leadership in relation to conflict management, and if the managers leadership differs depending on private or public elderly care. Leadership and conflict management are theories that have been used in order to analyze the empirical findings. Previous research that has been used in the study concerns ?leadership/leadership styles?, ?conflict management?, ?to be active in the private/public elderly care?.

Studien är en kvalitativ undersökning med syfte att se hur ett träningsuppehåll av högintensivt tränande personer hanteras utifrån bemästringsstrategier. En bemästringsstrategi beskrivs av tidigare studier som en process, ett sätt att hantera stress. Den tidigare forskningen kring bemästringsstrategier kopplat till träningsuppehåll är begränsad. För en ökad förståelse kring träningsuppehåll har även träningsmotivation och känslan av ett påtvingat träningsuppehåll undersökts där hypotesen varit att träningsuppehåll upplevs som stressande. Nio personer, som tränar tre till fyra gånger i veckan, har intervjuats.

The market for management consulting services is changing with an increased level of competition and more specialized service providers. At the same time there is a high level of companies that fail in their efforts to establish themselves on the market. This thesis sets out to give the reader an increased understanding of the complex characteristics of the market for these services, focusing more specifically on which factors that have an effect on the strategy development for companies within the industry. The thesis is also aimed at providing the reader with a deeper understanding of how developing consulting companies can tackle the specific challenges facing them. In order to meet the purpose of the thesis, we have applied relevant theories to a generic strategy model in order to develop a model that is applicable for the management consulting industry.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att försöka ta reda på om en kristen gudstro kan utgöra en salutogen faktor vid svåra kriser enligt teorierna om logoterapin och KASAM. Samtal med några personer som har gått igenom traumatiska kriser och som tycktes använda sig av sin gudstro i krishanteringen, fick mig att börja reflektera över hur en persons livsåskådning påverkar hans eller hennes sätt att handskas med kriser. Jag har använt mig av två metoder; litteraturstudier och intervjuer, för att kunna jämföra mitt empiriska intervjumaterial med teorier om logoterapin och KASAM. I resultatet framkom det att gudstro under vissa förutsättningar kan utgöra en salutogen och meningsskapande faktor vid större kriser. Dock måste gudstron vara flexibel, obetingad och trygg för att kunna bevaras och förbli funktionell som meningssystem efter en större kris.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka nätverksarbetets betydelse inom psykiatrin. Om nätverksarbete används och i sådana fall vad det finns för motiveringar till att använda respektive inte använda denna typ av insatser. För att besvara frågeställningarna genomförde vi fyra intervjuer med kuratorer anställda inom denna verksamhet. Vi har valt att göra intervjuerna på två öppenvårdsmottagningar och två slutna avdelningar i Stockholm. Intervjuerna genomförde vi efter en semistrukturerad frågemall.

Den vanligaste orsaken till amputation är cirkulationsstörningar som vanligtvis orsakas av diabetes. Förlust av kroppsdel kan vara förödande och kräver en förmåga att anpassa sig till den nya situationen. Syftet med studien var att belysa de svårigheter en amputerad person kan utsättas för samt hur dessa svårigheter hanteras. Metoden var litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats baserad på sju vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserades utifrån manifest innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade att en förändrad kropp medför känslomässiga, fysiska och sociala svårigheter som påverkade känslan av helhet efter en amputation.

The purpose of this study is to, based on qualitative interviews, understand the home care staff's experiences of insufficiency and also which strategies they are using to deal with these experiences.The questions of this study are:In which situations are home care staff experiencing insufficiency?What copingstrategies do home care staff set out to deal with these experiences? Method: Interviews has been used as a method to gather empirical data.Theory: Theories of coping-strategies has been used as theory in the analyses of the empirical material.Results: The result of this study concludes that experiences of insufficiency mainly promotes in situations of lack of time for various reasons. The main strategies home care staff is using are planning, adapting, accepting, compensation, get themselves together, control and manage their emotions and understanding. Other situations that promote feelings of insufficiency are lack of competence and when the eldery person doesn't want to receive a planned effort. I västvärlden sprids stressjukdomar och antalet sjukskrivningar ökar med rasande fart och bara i Europa påverkar detta över 40 miljoner yrkesarbetare. Det är främst personal med kontaktyrken som drabbas. Tidigare studier visar kulturella skillnader vilket kan vara viktigt för mer förståelse och kunskap. Copingstrategier mot stress har studerats för att öka förståelse hur vi reagerar vid stress. Syftet med studien var att undersöka skillnader mellan italienska och svenska lärares utbrändhet och användande av copingstrategier.

The theme of this essay is literacy training in pre-school. The theme takes it starting point in a project, where my colleagues and I noticed our children playing with writing and symbols. It leads to an exciting, reflecting and developing project, a project that will go on for six months together with twenty children in the age of five and six.The essay describes how I and the rest of the staff work with the project, and also how we try to find challenges that are meaningful for our children. When we worked with the project I ended up in a dilemma how I as a teacher was to retain the children?s joy and curiosity for writing without making it boring.

Metod: Vi har uteslutande använt oss av kvalitativ insamlingsmetod med hjälp av djupintervjuer. Vi har en hermeneutisk ansats och har strävat efter att uppnå en närhet till respondenterna under intervjuerna. Teoretiska Perspektiv: Den teorin vi främst använt oss av är Linda Hills bok; ”Becoming a Manager - How New Managers Master the Challenges of Leadership”. Enligt hennes studie så skiljer sig förväntningar och utfall markant åt för nyblivna förstalinjechefer.

Climate change and the sea level rise that it contributes to is an ever more pressing issue for costal municipalities around the world. Today there is a great deal of scientific reports and projections on what these changes could entail. However, resent studies on south Swedish costal municipalities have shown great discrepancies when it comes to how these scientific projections are implemented in the municipal planning and adaptation strategies. In an effort to understand the underlying reasons for this lack of concurrence, this paper has applied Rolf Lidskogs theory of the hetrogenity of science. The theory gives an explanation to the complications in the science-policy interface, by describing complicating factors in the communication between these actors.

AbstractOur world is facing new challenges depending on the climate changes. The UN panel of climate changes has determined that the human race is responsible for the changes, but also that we have the opportunity to reduce the effects. This demands that the information reaches out to the public which means that the school system carries major responsibility to this type of questions. This also means that the teachers have to be observant, and give the questions the attention which is needed. The purpose of this essay is to see if this awareness exists today among active teachers and teacher students and if the perspective differs among them, but also their opinions is in agreement with the course plan in the subject.

Pain and pain treatment constitute a huge part of the general nurses work. For that reason the nurse is required to have great knowledge about this area. The fact that our society is getting more multicultural increase the nurses demands even more, to understand and treat pain in patients of foreign cultural background. The aim of this literature review is to examine which culturally learned and trans-ferred valuations, norms and approaches that appear related to physical pain. The aim is also to examine the most appropriate ways for the nurse to show respect and to get more information about this cultural experience in the encounter with the patient.

Internet and convergence culture has changed the terms of the media landscape. When old media converge and new ones take form, questions about how these should be classified arise, which is accompanied by new challenges in terms of ethics and regulations. One of these newfound mediums is podcasting; an expanding auditive pull-medium available through streaming or downloading on the Internet.This study, which was conducted as a quantitative content analysis, examines the use of sponsorship in four of the most popular Swedish podcasts. This was done as an attempt to understand how producers of a new and unregulated medium choose to go about presenting their sponsor, without having any ethical guidelines to follow. Traditional media is already regulated and have ethical guidelines, that for example regulate how to address a sponsor, but in the new and expanding world of podcasting there are no ethical rules and guidelines.Our study shows that the placements of the sponsorship messages tend to vary and that there is very little consensus regarding how these podcasts choose to present their sponsor.
