In order to reduce the price for, and improve the performance of automatic control systems for magnetization of synchronus generators, the possibilities of using a PC based software PLC system, Programmable Logic Controller, has been investigated. The result is a system based on the CoDeSys software PLC with runtime environment from 3S-Software, communicating with external units via Modbus fieldbus. System price is reduced from ?5000 to ?2000 and system processing speed is reduced from 10 ms for a Siemens S7 PLC to 4 ms with the CoDeSys PLC system though unsolved problems with runtime seizure caused by improper settings in the PC BIOS..

The energy usage contributes to a big part of it, by its emission of carbon dioxide. The built environment uses around 40 % of the total energy consumption in Sweden and requests to strongly reduce it are presented from both EU and national level.This thesis brings up the subject of green building with a focus on how we can create more energy efficient buildings in projects of new construction. När man på BAE Systems Hägglunds AB konstruerar en ny stol till ett fordon så har man tidigare individanpassat stolarna utefter dess position. Målet med detta examensarbete var, istället för att individanpassa en stol, konstruera en stol som går att använda på flera positioner i flera fordon. Ursprungstanken var att konstruera en stol som skulle fungera att användas i tre stycken Hägglundsfordon, Armadillo, Bvs10 och Cv90, där stolen skulle fungera på förarplats i Cv90 och Bvs10 samt som chef- och skyttestol i Armadillo och Cv90. Eftersom Hägglunds tillverkar fordon med inriktning mot försvarsindustrin medför det att stolarna sitter i fordon som idag används i krigsdrabbade områden världen över. Detta bidrar i sin tur att kraven på stolarna blir mycket höga.

SammanfattningMiljökraven på varor och tjänster har idag slagit igenom på allvar, vilket har påverkat handeln på många sätt. Det har lett till att krav på märkning och information om varorna och tjänsterna har ökat och standarder, ledningssystem och kontrollsystem har fått större betydelse Det var ur detta som certifieringen uppstod.I vår studie ville vi därför undersöka om certifiering är det rätta verktyget för att företag ska bidra till en hållbar utveckling eller om certifiering kan anses som en nödvändighet för att överleva på marknaden. Detta innebar att ett antal företag kontaktades som ansågs som lyckade företag vad gällde hållbar utveckling.Cheferna på dessa företag intervjuades personligen eller via mail. Vid sammanställningen av svaren inspirerades vi av en metod som heter Grundad teori. Denna metod innebär att nyckelmeningar plockas ut ur intervjumaterialet som sedan kategoriseras i huvudkategorier, underkategorier och subkategorier.

Målet med rapporten är att visa hur miljöklassningssystemet CEEQUAL kan förbättras samt hur användningen kan främja hållbar utveckling i mark och anläggningsprojekt i Sverige. CEEQUAL är ett miljöklassningssystem inom infrastruktur och anläggning som har utvecklats i Storbritannien av Institution of Civil Engineers. I examensarbetet har följande frågeställningar undersökts: Hur fungerar CEEQUAL i praktiken? Vad är den svenska erfarenheten från användningen av CEEQUAL? Hur kan anläggningssektorn förbättra miljö/hållbarhetsarbetet genom miljöklassning med CEEQUAL? Hur kan man förbättra miljöklassningssystemet CEEQUAL? Frågorna har besvarats genom metoderna litteraturstudie och dokumentanalys men även genom intervjuer med olika aktörer inom anläggningsbranschen. Denna rapport innehåller en kort sammanfattning av vad hållbar utveckling betyder och en fördjupning inom miljöklasscertifieringssystemet CEEQUAL samt dess användning inom anläggnings- och infrastrukturprojekt. En jämförelse mellan CEEQUAL, de 16 nationella miljömålen och Kretsloppsrådets mål har också utförts för att se om de behandlar samma miljöområden. En certifiering sker i flera olika steg. En certifiering genomförs av en utbildad assessor som bedömer och ger poäng på svaren av frågorna som återfinns i CEEQUAL:s manual.

In this study I participated in an innovative project that aimed to bring new life and use to the old fashioned patient journal by giving it a visual representation through the use of an avatar.
