Under 2009-2010 genomfördes en kurs i kolning med både teoretiska och praktiska inslag vid institutionen för skogens ekologi och skötsel vid Sveriges Lantbruksuniversitet i Umeå. Kursen som omfattade 15 hp initierades av åtta intresserade elever från kurs 07/12; Håkan Johansson, Carl Kling, Henrik Nises, Jonas Strandberg, Erik Sundström, Jonas Svensson, Erik Söderberg, Daniel Timblad.Inom ramen för kursen så genomfördes olika aktiviteter; en serie litteratur-seminarer om kolningens historia och praktik samt om kolningen i ett internationellt perspektiv, omsorgsfullt förberedande och praktisk genomförande av milkolning samt intervjuer med äldre personer som kolat tidigare. Slutresultatet av arbetet presenteras i föreliggande rapport samt i form av ett bildspel och en kort videofilm från kolningen. Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att genom en fallstudie av kriget i Sierra Leone (1991-2002) sökaefter konventionella inslag i aktören Revolutionary United Fronts (RUF) våldsbeteende ochdärigenom undersöka huruvida krigets natur kan beskrivas utifrån ett rationellt eller irrationelltperspektiv. För att uppfylla syftet med uppsatsen har två frågeställningar använts; ?Finns detkonventionella inslag i aktören RUF:s våldsbeteende?? och ?Kan krigets natur i Sierra Leonebeskrivas utifrån ett rationellt eller irrationellt perspektiv??. Teorianknytningen utgörs av Carl vonClausewitz teorier om krigets natur.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att konventionella inslag i form av åtskillnad mellankombattanter och icke-kombattanter, konventionella medel och metoder samt politiskt syfte går attfinna i RUF:s våldsbeteende.Sammantaget visar fallstudien på att RUF:s våldsbeteende inte kännetecknades av ett enda kaos,ett allas krig mot alla på etniska, religiösa eller ideologiska grunder och därför inte kan beskrivassom ett irrationellt fenomen. I stället menar jag att krigets natur som det gestaltade sig under krigeti Sierra Leone går att beskriva utifrån ett rationellt perspektiv, typiskt för konventionella krig, medgrund i Clausewitz teorier om krigets natur..

Av analysen kan Michelle sammanfatta att om hon skulle starta en kvartett i framtiden för till exempel lansering skulle hon ha en kvartett redan färdig och redo för repetition innan start av liknande projekt. Momentet att hitta potentiella medlemmar till stråkkvartetten på så kort tid är orimligt och även om hon hittade medlemmar till kvartetten så skulle det inte hålla i längden. Efter att Michelle fått erfarenhet av personer som inte hållit de muntliga avtal som faktiskt gjordes kommer hon lägga mer tid på att finna rätt personer. Dessutom hade alla de punkter angående mål, promotion och avtal diskuteras med kvartetten detaljerat för att allihop ska få en likvärdig respekt och förståelse i det samarbete som komma skall. Inget bör vara otydligt.

Carl Gustav Jung started to write his Black books, in which he saw himself analyzing unconscious fantasies, during the same time that he leaved the psychoanalytical movement and broke off his personal relations with Sigmund Freud. This thesis sees the interpretation of these books through a wider contextualization. The purpose is to contribute to the understanding of the breakup between the two. The therapeutic work will be highlighted where the black books will be seen through the lens of three of Jung?s more known patients as well as through the interest in mythology and fantasy that Jung showed during this time.

Methodology: A qualitative study with abductive conducted semi-structured interviews of three municipally owned housing companies. Conclution: The municipal real estate industry uses CSR as a strategy to gain different benefits such as brand recognition. By acting responsibly, companies will strengthen their legitimacy and create long-term economic gain.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the quality notions used by the library personnel responsible for the video game department at Malmo City Library. Furthermore, the thesis aims to assess how these notions of quality relate to properties of the actual collection of video games. The empirical results are based on interviews with the responsible library personnel. The result is then analyzed by an interpretation of Carl Gustav Johannsen?s library adapted, theory-based, model of quality definitions.

Rapporten beskriver examensarbetet Gamla idéer med nya lösningar utfört av Erik Björk,avgångsstudent från utbildningsprogrammet möbeldesign vid Carl Malmsten Centrum förTräteknik & Design vid Linköpings universitet. Examensarbetet är genomfört i samarbete medIKEA of Sweden.Syftet med det designuppdrag som jag har genomfört i samband med examensarbetet har varit attta fram fyra möbler utifrån givna förutsättningar i 7 olika möbelfabriker, som alla arbetar medmassivt trä som råvara. Utifrån dessa förutsättningar skulle jag dels skapa produkter somtillvaratar materialets unika egenskaper och därigenom ej är möjliga att imitera i andra material.Dels ge produkterna originalitet och personlighet genom att utforska den skandinaviskaidentiteten och mitt egna ursprung samt kommunicera detta genom produkterna. Var produktskall ha en historia att berätta.Att ta fram fyra möbler parallellt under 10 veckor har varit en utmaning. Stundvis har det käntssom att en produkt hade varit nog men i efterhand är jag glad att det var fyra.

Playsam in Kalmar AB are world famous for their design of the toys they sell. Together with their CEO Carl Zedig the goal was to find a new product for the company.  The process has far from been linear, I started off in one direction, got rejected, turned another way and we finally decided to create a rocking horse in a De Stijl style. At the same time taking consideration of the demands from Playsam and myself.Playsam?s products are archetypes of ordinary objects around us such as the car or the aeroplane. The company mainly produces its toys in wood and the stylized shape together with the blank painted surface has become a hallmark for them.De Stijl, the Dutch art movement containing artists, designers and architects such as Piet Mondrian, Theo van Doesburg and Gerrit Rietveld.

Detta arbete har genomförts i samarbete med Ekdahls Möbler, ett företag verksamt i Småland som utvecklar och producerar möbler. Resultatet av detta projekt är att en stol för offentliga miljöer och med svanenmärkningens grundtankar och principer som ledord tagits fram. I utarbetningen av stolen anser jag att det bevisas att ett företag kommer tjäna pengar på att svanenmärka sina produkter. Kan då ett företag vinna på att svanenmärka sina produkter? I dagsläget ter det sig som marknaden för miljömedvetna möbler främst finns inom den offentliga miljön där man kan se en ökad efterfrågan efter mer miljöanpassade produkter.
