The gathered texts and letters from Ali Ibn Abi Talib, found in the book Nahjul Balagha,constitute one of the most important writings of Shiite Islam, next the hadits and the Quran.Imam Ali´s ethics and moral approach in Nahjul Balagha, is considered by imam Ali, to beseen as a guideline for both individual purposes as for any kind of governance. The esotericteachings, about truth and justice in Nahjul Balagha, should therefore probably have been of agreat concern to Ayatollah Khomeini and the Islamic revolution.This essay will from an deductive approach, on a relatively contemporary historic event, try toanalyze Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini´s interpreting on imam Ali´s texts and preaching inNahjul Balagha. Kvinnliga nätverk - ett sätt att göra skillnad? : En fallstudie på nätverket Q80 och dess mentor program

Sweden is known to be one of the world?s most equal countries. Nevertheless, out  of  Sweden?s 262 listed companies, only seven  of  them  has  a  female  president, which  is  equal  to  3,4  percent. To  counteract  these  numbers  there  are  several  possibilities.  One  arrangement  that  is  highly  controversial     is  affirmative  actions.  But  there  are  other  options,  for  instance  more  and  more female  networks  are  starting  to  rise  and  many  of  them  also  offers  a  mentoring  program  where  the  mentee  gets  the  opportunity  to  learn  from  someone  with  more  experience.The  purpose  of  this  study  is  to  examine  what  difference  the  female  network  Q80,  with  focus  on  its  mentoring  program,  is  doing  for  the  mentee.  As  an  underlying  purpose  the  study  is  also  examining  what  visions  and  attitudes  the  management  and  the  mentors  is  communicating  within  Q80.  The  focus  is  mainly  on  the  visions  of  Q80,  menas  mentors  and  business  exceeding mentorship.  A  survey  has  been  carried  out  among  mentees  from  three  different  seats of mentoring  programs  where  they  have  answered  19  different  questions  regarding  their  time  as  a  mentee.  Furthermore  interviews  have  taken  place  with the management  of Q80  and  two  mentors.  The  results  are  analyzed  based  on  theories  about  gender,  women  in   management,  leadership,  mentoring  program  and  organizational structure.  The  result  shows  that  Q80i  as  a  source  of  inspiration  and  a  support  for  the  category  of  "career  women"  with  its  core  mission  to  strengthen  the  participation of  individuals  on  a  personal  level  more than  to  work  to  even  out  the  gap  in  the  Swedish  labor market.

Bedömning av anställda i professionella tjänsteföretag - ett kritiskt perspektiv

Human capital is professional service firms' most valuable resource and its quality is closely linked to the quality of its services. The purpose of this study is to investigate how professional service firms appraise their employees. A comparative study between an architecture firm and a management consulting firm is conducted with the aim to identify and explain similarities and differences in performance appraisal. Two qualitative case studies are performed and interviews as well as documents are used to explore the area. The thesis builds on a critical perspective and it has an explorative approach.

Att göra en livsstilsförändring : Från kriminell till icke kriminell

The aim of this study was to investigate factors that ex-criminals believe have been of importance to them when they decided to leave a lifestyle of criminality behind. The study was based on eight semi-structured interviews with informants who had committed various forms of crime. Common to all informants is that they are now members in the Swedish association KRIS (In English: CRIS, Criminals Return Into Society), living a life without crime. The stories of the informants have been analyzed on the theoretical basis of social ties, the exit process, role loss, motivation and the life course perspective. Our study showed that the informants have been affected and motivated by various life events that could be identified and pin-pointed during the interviews.

En studie i kreativa processer utifrån ett begrepp

Jag vill med mitt examensarbete skapa respekt för det avvikande.Jag har utvecklat en process med intellektuell utgångspunkt i en begreppsvärld långt från möbler, i detta fall Darwins utvecklingslära om arternas uppkomst. Det har varit viktigt för mig att anta ett konstnärligt förhållningssätt, att ge mig in i någonting utan att veta vart det ska leda och att skapa bästa möjliga förutsättningar för en kreativ process. Jag har genom naturstudier, skisser, och fria associationer sökt mig fram till  mina möbelförslag.Som kommunikationsmedel har jag använt mig av skissmaterial. Min ambition har varit att ta med andra parter som hantverkare med olika kompetenser och kunskaper in i framtagningsprocessen.Ambitionen är att skapa en mer sympatisk värld genom att förtydliga och skapa respekt för det annorlunda och avvikande. Låta objekten ta form och ett möjligen eget liv.

Metodval i matematikundervisningen : Hur kan det påverka elevernas förståelse i matematikämnet?

The aim of this study is to examine how students and teachers experience full class lectures in contrast to working individually in mathematics education. Furthermore, the study explores how different ideas of individualization influence the teaching practice.The investigation uses qualitative interviews and the survey analysis is based on the phenomenographic method. The interviews took place in two senior level compulsory schools and both teachers and students were interviewed. The ambition has been to explore the teachers? perspectives regarding their choice of method in the teaching of mathematics.

Arbetslaget och det ämnesövergripande samarbetet - en studie av en gymnasieskola

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur det ämnesövergripande samarbetet fungerar i arbetslagen på en gymnasieskola. Vi vill även synliggöra och jämföra lärarnas och rektorns visioner inom detta område. Inledningsvis ges en litteraturöversikt angående arbetslagsarbete och ämnesövergripande samarbete. Genom en enkätundersökning av lärarna på den aktuella gymnasieskolan samt genom en intervju med skolans rektor vill vi belysa det faktiska förhållandet i frågeområdet för vårt arbete. Sammanfattningsvis pekar våra resultat på att det hos lärarna finns både ambition och kompetens att arbeta ämnesövergripande, men att det praktiska utförandet bromsas av olika omständigheter. Den faktor som främst visar sig försvåra detta samarbete är tidsbrist.

Despite repeated efforts the parties do not succeed in recruiting lay judges that reflect the structure of the inhabitants. Why not? This is the fundamental issue of this essay.This study is a multiple case study of two parties with different success in their recruiting work. The purpose is to study the process of nomination regarding lay judges at the district courts, at the latest election (2006).

Lärande - styrt eller i samspel? : En studie om lärares syn på undervisning och lärande

This study?s purpose was to examine which main forms of teaching methods that occurs in the Swedish nine-year compulsory school and how often learning through social collaboration take place. The study contained literature and interviews with eight teachers. Our research-questions were: What is the teacher?s opinion about different teaching methods, their opinion about learning and teaching and if there were any difference between the teachers teaching younger or older students regarding teaching methods? Our conclusions of this study were that ?lecture-methods? is the most common among teachers.

The studies aim was to measure if there were any observable differences between the two in means of optimism and sense of coherence. There are two tools created for measuring optimism and sense of coherence, the Life Orientation Test ? Revised (LOT-R) measures an individual?s level of optimism and Aaron Antonovsky devised a test for measuring an individual?s level of sense of coherence (SOC). Optimism is best explained like a way to measure anticipation, how an individual expect future events to fall out.

Oenigheter på arbetsplatsen : En studie om konflikter och konflikthantering bland vuxna i förskolans verksamhet

AbstractThis essay discusses the negotiation of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) and the process that led up to a signed agreement. The CTBT forbids all nuclear weapon test explosions and all other types of nuclear explosions. The purpose of the study was to distinguish the critical steps of the negotiations that resulted in the success of the CTBT. Based on these insights, my intention was to identify relevant events and actors in the process around the Fissile Material Cut-off Treaty (FMCT), which has been on the nuclear disarmament agenda for over a decade. Furthermore, my ambition was that the examination of the CTBT negotiation would give me some clarity in what the next step would be to get the FMCT back on track.

Fysisk aktivitet i klassrummet

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie var att få kännedom i hur lärare i år 1-3 hanterar det ökade ansvaret med att erbjuda sina elever daglig fysisk aktivitet. Ambitionen var även att få insikt i lärarnas kunskaper kring fysiska aktiviteters effekter samt få insyn i deras kunskaper kring Läroplanens (Lpo 94) innehåll rörande daglig fysisk aktivitet. Utifrån semistrukturerade intervjuer kunde slutsatsen dras att alla tio medverkande lärare ansåg att det var betydelsefullt att arbeta med fysiska aktiviteter. Samtliga arbetade i mer eller mindre stor omfattning med fysiska aktiviteter i klassrummet, både som pausmoment och integrerat i undervisningen. Lärarna menade att elevernas behov lämpligen måste styra aktiviteternas omfattning och form.

Filmproduktionsprocesser : En jämförande studie om att filma analogt kontra digitalt

The art of producing films have been around for more than a century and the technology just continues to evolve. But although much has happened in 100 years, there are also processes, theories and practices that look the same now as then. I write this thesis because I want to find the differences between the analogue and the digital way of production. This study is based on a qualitative approach because my ambition is to seek the views concerning film production processes. The advantages of analogue film is that it contains more information than the digital formats and that it has a more cinematic style.

Det könade handledarskapet

The aim of this study is to research images of the academic world that is presented, incorporated and reproduced within the frames of the mentorship in the basic level. Can these images derive to the view upon science as a traditionally male area? Is mentorship gendered? Can the mentorship on the basic level be viewed upon as a milestone of a academic career where men and women have different opportunities to succeed?By interviewing seven mentors, working in a social sciences institution in a larger Swedish university, I have come to the conclusion that knowledge is coded male and that this affect mentors mental images of what male and female students are expected to do. The male student represent the scientist, while the female student represent what the scientist is not.Depending on the work of, among others, Kerstin Norlander, Dorothy Smith and Eva Erson I have come to view upon the university as a patriarchal organisation witch produces knowledge based upon male values, experiences and concepts. This precludes the female within this organisation from relating to the knowledge she is supposed to incorporate.
