The purpose of this developmental research was to test the new way of working when the students were to take part in planning of cooking during the lessons in home and consumer studies, because the aim of the school is to teach the students to take the responsibility for their studies. The two first lessons should be used by students in the group to plan and organize their meal. During the third lesson the students must be responsible for cooking ready their meal and afterwards they must evaluate the results. The results of this new way of working was new for the students and they thought it was fun to be responsible for cooking during these lessons in home economics. The students in the groups were of wixed ability and they developed their knowledge from the levels of their ability.

Mycket pekar på att det finns en brist hos många svenska unga kvinnor vad gäller kunskap om fertilitet och reproduktion. Det finns ett behov av att formulera ett evidensbaserat redskap för barnmorskor att använda sig av i samtal om en Reproduktiv Livsplan och för att ge hälsoförebyggande information inför en eventuell graviditet.Syfte: Studiens syfte var att genomföra en pilotstudie beträffande implementering av en Reproduktiv Livsplan i svensk vårdkontext. Ett andra syfte var att testa ett instrument och proceduren inför kommande forskningsprojekt samt att utvärdera dess effekt. Metod: Föreliggande studie hade en kvantitativ ansats och hade designats som en randomiserad kontrollerad interventionsstudie. Totalt deltog 75 unga kvinnor i tre grupper; interventionsgruppen (IG), kontrollgrupp 1 (CG1) och kontrollgrupp 2 (CG2).

This Master of Science thesis was completed at the Department of Machine Design at the Royal Instituteof Technology in Stockholm in collaboration with Lund Faculty of Engineering, Luleå University ofTechnology and Stanford University. At Stanford University a global product development project wasrealized as part of the course ME310. The project was initiated by the American company ImmerseGlobal whose vision was to develop a new type of Atmospheric Water Generators, a machine that absorbsthe moisture in the air and via a water system transforms it to pure drinking water. The project was partlyfinanced by the Product Innovation Engineering program, a Swedish research and development programfor increased innovation capability in organizations.In parallel with the global project in the ME310 course the product development process was studied inorder to compare it with a product development course at the Royal Institute of Technology, IPU. Thetwo courses are similar to each other in several aspects.

In my essay I have examined how teachers look upon their role as leader in the classroom. I have interviewed six teachers, senior level ones and teachers from the upper secondary school, about how they look upon tasks that involve planning, control, motivation, groups, and individuals. Based on their answers, I have analyzed if there is anything that can be related to a common leader competence within their profession and, in that case, how it will appear.The result that I have found has been that it exists a common leadership style that teachers are more or less conscious of. The teachers decide on what level the classes or the pupils are andafter that decision they plan their education. The leadership in the classroom can be of different kinds depending on the situation.

Denna rapport handlar om Poker-AI som var mitt examensarbete. Jag tar upp vilka problem jag har haft, vilka lösningar jag har gjort och vad jag ser för framtida möjligheter. Jag började med att läsa böcker för att lära mig mer om vad man ska tänka på när man spelar och för att ha en bra grund till det fortsatta arbetet. Under tiden jag läste började en plan utforma sig för hur jag skulle göra AI:n. När jag hade läst klart gjorde jag själva grundprogrammet för att kunna testa min AI, jag stötte på en del problem och det tog lite längre tid än jag hade tänkt, men det blev en bra grund.

Syftet med denna studie är att se vad som har hänt i den svenska kyrkogårdens historia och vad som har förändrats på Östra kyrkogården och kvarter 4H sedan 1921 då det var invigning av den arkitekt Sigurd Lewerentz ritade Östra kyrkogården i Malmö. Och om kvarter 4H kan bli ett bättre kvarter om hänsyn tas till ett tillgängligare markmaterial. Med hjälp av arkivstudier har jag kunnat läsa om det har funnits annat markmaterial på platsen och när kalkstenen blev lagt på plats, samt varför det har skett en förändring.Det stora problemet på kvarter 4H är gångarna. Det krävs tillstånd från länsstyrelsen för att få ändra i kyrkogårdsmiljö. Det finns två lagar som man skall ta hänsyn till när det gäller förändring i en kyrkogårdsmiljö, nämligen kulturminneslagen och plan- och bygglagen.

AbstractAt the UN Conference on Environment and Development in 1992 the nations stated that traditional environmental policies were not sufficient to handle the multidimensional challenges posed by sustainable development. Governments needed to broaden their political decision making procedures in order to coordinate and integrate environmental, social and economic policies. Therefore a new tool was introduced in Agenda 21, National Strategies for Sustainable Development (NSDS). The aim of an NSDS would be to bring together actors from all parts of society to jointly reach a consensus on how to work towards the vision of a sustainable society. An NSDS would be seen as a strategic tool to help focus national policies for SD.

An emerging trend within the construction industry is the expectation of the customer to experience and sense the product, maybe even in a customized manner. The latter trend would extend the necessity of incorporating not only function and aesthetics, but also perception and sensation. To meet this trend while at the same time improve the productivity the use of information technology such as BIM and technical platforms has increased in construction projects. Nevertheless, in spite of large investments, the construction industry has not managed to increase the effectiveness and productivity as much as other industries. Evident is that successful use of information technology depend on the integration and collaboration of various experts in a continuous and dynamic process.

Sveriges kommuner omfattas till stora delar av äldre planer som har blivit inaktuella på grund av ändrad lagstiftning och förändrade planeringsförutsättningar. Upprättade planer gäller tills det att de ändras eller upphävs vilket gör att dessa äldre planer idag gäller som detaljplaner. Dessa inaktuella detaljplaner kan vålla problem för kommunen, bl.a. vid beslut om bygglov. Syftet med arbetet är att utreda detta problem och försöka undersöka vilka lösningar som finns och hur problemet kan förebyggas. För att kunna få svar på dessa frågor genomfördes tre olika forskningsmetoder; enkätunder-sökning, intervju samt fältobservation av detaljplaner inom Västerviks tätort.

I dagens samhälle blir det allt vanligare att människor utför biståndsarbete, det kan innebära till exempel internationella utvecklingsprojekt eller katastrofinsatser. Det är även vanligt att företag engagerar sig i globala biståndsprojekt genom att samarbeta med en hjälporganisation, till exempel med Läkare Utan Gränser. Sweco är ett företag som har ett uttalat samarbete med just Läkare Utan Gränser och de ser positivt på att deras medarbetare tar tjänstledigt för att åka ut i fält och arbeta för organisationen. Läkare Utan Gränser är en akut organisation, det vill säga en organisation som ingriper när det inträffar akuta katastrofer runt om i världen. Det var därför naturligt att frågeställningen valdes att fokuseras på just katastrofinsatser som är en av delarna inom biståndsarbete.

Detta arbete är inriktat på hur frekvensen av MRSA eller metecillinresistenta Staphylococcus aureus ser ut inom hästsjukvården runt om i världen och speciellt i Sverige idag. Arbetet behandlar frågor kring hygien och smittspridning, vad som behövs för att djuromvårdnaden ska bli säker och effektiv för både djuren och människorna som arbetar i djursjukvården. En av de viktigaste metoderna för att minska smittspridningen är att klinikerna har handfasta hygienrutiner och en plan för hur hästar med misstänkt eller verifierad MRSA ska hanteras på kliniken. Enkätundersökningen i arbetet syftar på att få en inblick i arbetsätt och medvetenhet om MRSA vid olika hästkliniker i Sverige. Arbetet belyser hygien och skötsel av patienter med MRSA infektion.

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka en eventuell professionaliseringsprocess inom informatörsnätverket i Värmland. Nätverket som består av 117 yrkesverksamma informatörer i Värmland fungerar som ett forum för kompetensutveckling för länets informatörer, och har för avsikt att sätta fokus på yrkesrollen informatör.För att kunna besvara våra frågeställningar valde vi att göra en kvantitativ undersökning genom elektroniska enkäter. Populationen bestod av informatörsnätverket i Värmlands samtliga medlemmar.Utifrån resultatet drog vi slutsatsen att: nätverket är en social värld, där en professionalisering av yrket informatör sker på både ett medvetet och ett omedvetet plan. Svaren från enkäterna visar på att det sker en social utestängning genom språkbruk och genom en gemensam uppfattning kring yrket informatör som profession..
