This report will point out the income for a scania plant production farm, this has been estimated through a case study. The outcome of this report will later be used to calculate a reasonable leasehold charge. This case study is solitary based upon this particular studied farm, at this very point, and can therefore not be used as a general guide. The reason why this particular scania plant production farm has been selected, is because the author is born and raised at the farm and has the intention to run the farm in the future. The chosen farm for this report is based in the southwest of scania and cover 300 hectare of plant production. The crop rotation consists of autumn wheat, sugar beats, spring wheat, spring barely, winter rape and fallow. The farm owns all machinery required.

The purpose of this study has been to examine how Afro-Cuban musical traditions and concepts are integrated in compositions for solo guitar by the Cuban guitarist and composer Ñico Rojas and how this can be expressed in the performance of his music by a classical guitarist. For this purpose a guide to Rojas music, which is included in this report, was written based on literature about Afro-Cuban music. Then a classical guitarist learned to play a piece by Rojas with help from the written guide. The result was examined using recordings of the guitarist's interpretations and an interview with him. The conclusion is that different aspects of the Afro Cuban musical tradition are present in Rojas? music, but that the concept of the clave was the most useful aspect for the classical guitarist that interpreted the music of Ñico Rojas in this study..

Hamling och andra former av lövtäkt för utfodring av tamboskap, var tidigare mycket vanligt men har minskat betydligt fram till våra dagar. Arter, som under åtminstone ett par tusen år anpassat sig till ett liv i, eller i anslutning till de hamlade träden, hotas idag av utrotning. För att kunna säkerställa fortlevnaden för dessa arter samt för de hamlade träden och hamlingen som tradition, krävs kunskap, dels om hamlingsförfarandet i äldre tider, dels om förekomsten av hamlade träd i dagens landskap. Genom att samla in och datera grenprover, kartlade jag i detta arbete senaste hamlingstidpunkt i Bråbygden, i Oskarshamns kommun. För att bedöma hamlingens utförande och potentialen för ytterligare hamling i området, studerade jag också förekomsten av döda träd med hamlingsspår, grova (brösthöjdsdiameter över 30 cm) askar, lindar och lönnar utan hamlingsspår, samt tillgången på tänkbara nya hamlingsträd. En enkät ställd till markägarna i området samt en omfattande litteraturstudie över hamlingens praktik och historia i Sverige ingick också i studien. På de 72 fastigheter som besöktes, tog jag prover från 406 träd.

According to the Energy Agency the use bio-fuel increased by 73% between 1990 - 2006. The purpose of this essay is to analyse how and why culture and tradition is created and maintained within a minor student society at a Swedish university by looking at its history. The West Coast Nation student society provided the material which was subsequently analysed and three sociological perspectives were applied in order to give the study a theoretical base. In order to investigate the purpose of the society, durkheimian theories on functionalism were applied. Moreover, Bourdieu?s thoughts on social fields were used as well as Elias? theories on the established and the outsiders.

The aim of this paper is to examine the capacity for ethical reasoning of Swedish certi-fied auditors in the five largest accounting firms in Stockholm, and also how ethics courses affect the auditors' ability to ethically statement. To calculate the auditors ability to ethical statement, questionnaire has been used. The questionnaire is based on a psychological instrument, the so-called Defining Issues Test. At the beginning of the questionnaire some questions are asked about the ethics courses. From the questionnaire a calculation was made of an average index called p-score (Principled score).

 AbstractThe background for this study is that there were a great amount of buildings constructed in Sweden in the years 1965-1975 in a program designed to create one million apartments in a time-period of ten years. These buildings are now, somewhat forty years later in most cases in very poor condition and the need for renovation is great and urgent. This has become a growing problem and more and more voices are being heard pointing towards the vast and extremely expensive task of renovating these buildings. Lately, it has also been more and more important for buildings to be energy-efficient and sustainable environment friendly.In recent years there has been an atempt to solve these problems by renovating such buildings but at the same time making them very energy-efficient. This is in some cases being done by isolating the shell of the building and changing the ventilation-system and so forth.

The aim of this study is to examine new interpretations of homosexuality in Islam based on Scott Kugle?s book ?Homosexuality in Islam? and the documentary ?A Jihad for love? by Parvez Sharma. Through a theological perspective, a critical analysis is performed in order to find new interpretations and compare them with each other and with the Islamic legal tradition. Argumentative analysis is also used for both the book and the documentary for this essay.     Both Kugle and Sharma use new interpretations and arguments about love to find space for homosexuality in Islam. They use a Muslim language to have relevance with their discussions to Muslim readers and viewers.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the female reader of science fiction literature, a genre by tradition dominated by men. Through qualitative interviews with seven female science fiction readers, the relation between the reading and the readers? lives, as well as their concepts of the science fiction genre and the community of science fiction readers, was examined. AbstractThe phonics is traditionally firmly established within reading acquisition in Swedish schools. The curriculum, Lpo 94 gives spacious independence regarding the question of method and we have to be aware of our own point of view when we are making the decision regarding the method of reading acquisition. Is it tradition or is it our linguistic point of view that is the determining factor? Through this study of literature, different publications from different times are being studied and the ideas and the linguistic point of view are being discussed. Through comparing between the curriculums that have been replaced of one another, and attending to linguistic discussion and research, we will be able to see a change in the linguistic point of view.

This diploma work has been carried out in collaboration with the building contractor Sh Bygg Fastighetsutveckling AB in Uppsala with the intention to investigate how the height of a building affects various energy aspects such as transmission losses, infiltration, and the specific energy usage. Three different reference objects have been studied. The reference objects have been simulated for four different heights in the calculation program VIP-Energy.The results show that an increase in floor number can lead to both advantages and disadvantages. As the number of floors increases, transmission losses per square meter floor area decreases. However, as the height of the building increases, the reduction rate decreases.

Mot bakgrund av skolans demokratiska uppdrag är syftet med följande uppsats att problematisera normativ svenskhet inom skolan. Syftet uppnås genom att diskutera kulturell representativitet utifrån några elevers utsagor om skolans praktiker gällande traditioner, med fokus på jul- och luciafirande samt skolavslutningar. Uppsatsen bygger på en kvalitativ intervjuundersökning med sex niondeklassare med ickekristen bakgrund. Elevernas uttalanden om skolans praktiker analyseras i förhållande till aktuella teoribildningar om kultur. Enligt intervjupersonerna uppmärksammas kristna traditioner, men exempelvis inte muslimska eller judiska på deras skola, något som hos flertalet personer uttrycks som upphov till utanförskap.

Fuktskador på uteluftsventilerade vindar är ett ökat problem, i det mer miljömedvetna Sverige. Genom tjockare vindsbjälklagsisolering minskar både energiförlusten genom bjälklaget och uppvärmningsbehovet i huset, men hur många funderar på vad som händer med det förändrade klimatet på vinden och hur det kan påverka fuktförhållandena i utsatta delar av konstruktionen.Studier från Chalmers Tekniska Högskola har framställt ett fuktberäkningsprogram för uteluftsventilerade vindar vid namn Simple Cold Attic Model. Programmets funktion och potential har prövats i denna rapport genom en beräkningsanalys av en uteluftsventilerad vindskonstruktion. Försök till att förbättra fuktsäkerheten i konstruktionen har utförts och redovisas i rapporten. Studien har påvisat att den studerade konstruktionen inte är fuktsäker om den uppförs i Stockholmsområdet. Det visades även att aktiva val i konstruktionen kan förebygga fuktskador. Studien har påvisat vikten av inte beräkna med medelår för klimat och hur det påverkar beräkningsresultatet av mögeltillväxt.

BakgrundVi har valt att beskriva geografi med hjälp av tre olika indelningar. Dessa är bildningsämne, skolämne och vetenskaplig disciplin. Den forskning vi tagit del av är förhållandevis gam-mal, detta med anledning av att det inte finns mycket nyare forskning inom geografididaktik. Skolämnet geografi har tappat kontakt med den vetenskapliga disciplinen och detta har lett till att geografiundervisningen har stagnerat och att den har sin identitet i regionalgeografi.SyfteSyftet med vår studie är att undersöka hur ett antal lärare i år 4-5 väljer innehåll och varför de väljer detta innehåll när de undervisar i ämnet geografi.MetodVi har använt oss av en kvalitativ intervju. Intervjuerna genomfördes i sex olika skolor och med tio lärare som alla undervisar i år fyra och/eller fem.ResultatDet vi kan utläsa av resultatet är att lärare baserar sin geografiundervisning i huvudsak på traditioner och lokala skolplaner.
