Denna examensuppsats har undersökt hur läroböcker i ämnet historia för den svenska gymnasieskolan har framställt USA:s War on terror mellan åren 2003-2011. Utgångspunkten var Samuel P. Huntingtons teori att nutid och framtid kommer att präglas av krig mellan civilisationer, och att den västerländska och den muslimska civilisationen är två helt olika civilisationer med olösbara skillnader. Uppsatsens frågeställning löd: Hur framställs USA:s War on terror i läroböcker i historia och överensstämmer läroböckernas framställning med Samuel P. Huntingtons teori Clash of civilizations? Fem läroböcker undersöktes utifrån tre kriterier, jämn årsfördelning, olika förlag och olika författare.

I en värld där terrorismen satt ett allt större avtryck är rapportering av absolut vikt. I den här studien undersöks hur media framställer terrorattentaten mot Oslo och Utöya från datumen 23 juli 2011 till 30 juli 2011. Studien utgår från två olika kategorier av tidningar, kvälls- och dagstidning, och därifrån har två tidningar valt uts för vidare undersökning. Aftonbladet (kvällstidning) och Dagens Nyheter (dagstidning) får stå som exempel i studien för dessa två kategorier. Tidningarna är störst i Sverige i sin egen kategori och har stor erfarenhet av liknande rapportering.

Background and problem: Previous studies have shown that liquidity can explain differences in returns in corporate shares, the company's cost of capital and the valuation of the company. Based on the effects of liquidity we developed a research question concerning how concentration of ownership effects liquidity of corporate shares the studies conducted for companies listed on Nasdaq OMX during a period with major changes on the stock market and is also investigating weather other company-specific differences can explain differences in liquidity. Purpose: The study's purpose is to study the relationship between ownership concentration and liquidity, and whether other factors might explain differences in liquidity. Method: The study is conducted with a quantitative method and it?s based on data collected from 2006-2011 for companies listed on Nasdaq OMX.

This report presents a thesis project conducted by two students at Mälardalens högskola. The project covers 15 points in industrial design and was conducted during April to June 2014. The principal of the thesis works at Plastic Produkter. The assignment was to develop equipment for an effective way to dose, mix silicon, fill a special designed plastic bag and then seal it. The bag is then formed into a breast model.When a customer for various reasons decides to do a breast augmentation or a breast reconstruction, there may be doubt or uncertainty about the result.

Vi har valt att jämföra de två kvällstidningarnaExpressen och Aftonbladet mellan den 8 oktober 2011 och en vecka framåt till den 14 oktober 2011 då rapporteringen av den före detta socialdemokratiska ledaren Håkan Juholt hamnade i blåsväder för första gången. Hur har Juholt framställts i kvällspressen? Vid analysen av Aftonbladet respektive Expressen har vi studerat artiklarna utifrån följande aspekter: rubrik- och bildsättning, positiva och negativa ord, politiska partier- och helhetsintrycket av artiklarna samt ur ett etiskt-, moraliskt- och jämställdhetsperspektiv.I vårt teoriavsnitt har vi behandlat mediedrev och den journalistiska formen. In a society where adults set the conditions for children?s play and generate modern and at times technically advanced products, fundamental characteristics like simplicity, opportunities for motor skills training and learning tend to be neglected. Owing to this, the Linköping-based company Time In wants to introduce a new multifunctional product, which differs from other products in shape and function and lives up to the often overlooked, basic characteristics in a toy.With Time In as the assigner, the purpose of this master thesis has been to use simple means to produce a "learning by playing" concept. Since Time In sells toys and products suitable for children in nurseries and preschools, the development of the products has therefore included a study of nursery and preschool environments.The thesis has been carried out within the Product Design subject area at the Department of Management and Engineering at Linköping University. Concept development has been done in three phases: the Preparation phase, the Design phase and the Presentation phase.

Syftet är att undersöka om och i så fall hur den psykosociala hälsan i arbetslivet förändrats i Örebros, Västmanlands och Värmlands län mellan år 2005 till 2011 genom att studera skyddsombudsstopp, intervjua Arbetsmiljöverkets inspektörer och regionala skyddsombud samt studera SCB:s statistik.De frågeställningar som besvaras är:Har det skett en förändring av antalet skyddsombudsstopp som rör psykosociala frågor mellan år 2005 till 2011?Har det, enligt Arbetsmiljöverkets inspektörer, skett en förändring av den psykosociala hälsan och hur beskriver de i sådana fall denna?Har det, enligt regionala skyddsombud, skett en förändring av den psykosociala hälsan och hur beskriver de i sådana fall denna?Har det, enligt statistik från SCB, skett en förändring av den psykosociala hälsan och på vilket sätt syns det i sådana fall i statistiken?Frågeställningarna besvaras med hjälp av att dokumentation studerats och intervjuer har genomförts. Teorin som använts i studien är krav-kontroll-stödmodellen.Skyddsombudsstoppen och intervjuerna med inspektörerna visar inte på någon förändring av den psykosociala hälsan. De regionala skyddsombuden anser att den psykosociala hälsan försämrats under de senaste åren. Bemanningsföretag, flexibilitet, brister i kommunikation och för lite stöd är några av de psykosociala arbetsmiljöproblem som finns idag enligt intervjupersonerna.

This thesis has evaluated environmental classifications of projects and the lessons learned to explore what the possible ramifications of implementing this in the construction and infrastructure are. Companies today are looking to develop methods to demonstrate their environmental commitments, but there is an uncertainty regarding the contribution of environmental classifications in this aspect.The literature review presents the theory of environmental classification, which provides a general knowledge of its function. The empirical data is based on an analysis of existing classification methods and qualitative interviews. The analysis shows specific environmental classification system for the area of construction and infrastructure. CEEQUAL is currently the only environmental classification applicable to Swedish projects and therefore serves as the basis for the continued analysis.

Syftet med rapporten är att utvärdera och jämföra två standarder, AATCC Test method 198-2011: Horizontal Wicking of Textiles och AATCC Test method 197-2011: Vertical Wicking of Textiles. Standarderna publicerades år 2011 av American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists. Standarderna mäter wicking, det vill säga, med vilken hastighet som vätska transporteras genom textil, med en horisontell och en vertikal testmetod. The University of Gotland has between the years 2006-2011 conducted seminar excavations in Västergarn parish, Gotland. During this time 167 comb fragments have been registered. Out of these are 51 of importance for this study, since they are defined as either a single-sided composite comb or a comb case. The purpose of this thesis is to enlighten the earliest period in the history of Västergarn by focusing on the earliest forms of combs and their cases. And as the title expresses do the combs date to the Viking Age or the Middle Ages? The combs from the excavations will be compared to different type schemes, both Viking Age and Middle Age and different places in Scandinavia such as Lund, Oslo, Lödöse and Gotland.

Syftet med den föreliggande studien är att med hjälp av jordbruksekonomiska undersökningen mellan 2009 ? 2011 analysera hur teknisk effektivitet påverkar räntabilitet på eget kapital i svenska mjölkföretag. Mjölkföretagen i Sverige visade under 2011 sämre resultat, vilket förklaras främst av lägre avräkningspris på mjölk. Efter 2006 har avräkningspriset på mjölk fluktuerat kraftigt i Sverige. Avsalu priset på spannmål har efter 2007 fluktuerat kraftigt, vilket kan förklara ett högre pris på foder.
