The importance of chemical use is enormous for areas such as agriculture, industry and medicine and hence a prerequisite for our modern society. In order to protect humans and the environment from the negative effects of chemical use, chemical regulations have been used at a relatively early stage in our history. The purpose of REACH, the new chemical regulation of the European Union, is to generate new knowledge of chemicals within the European market and to increase the responsibilities of the enterprises when it comes to risk management. Whether the enterprises will implement the regulations or not will be of vital importance for the realization of the law?s intentions.The purpose of this study was to identify possibilities and problems that can occur when a downstream-user SME is about to implement REACH.

Background: Due to an increasing globalization the competition has increased and this has lead to overcapacity and falling prices on markets today. The subject field logistics has during the last decades been given increasingly significance and has become a way to handle the competition. Theories clearly point outthe importance that a concordance exists between logistics and superior strategy but few, if any, authors give further details about how this adjustment should be made. Purpose: The aim of this thesis is with a case study approach survey if the subject field, which describe the importance that logistical solutions correspond with the superior strategy, is known and implemented in a company. We aim to develop the subject field through our empirical findings.

Abstract: The fashion industry is perhaps the most unpredictable one where change occurs very rapidly. In order to be attractive and interesting in this competitive industry, a brand must constantly be up to date and differentiated from other brands to attract the consumers. This has given rise to an increasing growth of brands that cooperate for marketing reasons and more specifically, clothing retailers that perform designer collaborations with exclusive designers to create limited collections.Studies describing the effects of those collaborations on the retailers brands are rare and especially from a consumer perspective. Since H&M has been a pioneer in designer collaborations and has done it more times and for more years than any other retailer we have conducted our study on their case. Our intention was to investigate how the designer collaborations have affected the brand equity and image of H&M, if the collaborations have increased the willingness to pay for H&M's other ranges and if they have affected H&M's ability to extend its brand to higher price segments, through an experimental study.

AbstractThis bachelor?s thesis at the Department of Production Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm deals with the subject of automated metrology. The degree of automation of tasks within production has been a growing trend but the measurement of quality has not followed the same trend. The main thesis follows:What incentives are there to automate the measurement of quality in production?What factors are crucial and why are not all metrology automated?The thesis comes along with a number of sub-queries and delimitations.The working method includes both theoretical and empirical studies.

Regionalization has become a catchphrase in European countries during the last twenty years with the establishment of the European Union. An ideational development has occurred during time towards emphasing more politicially powerful regions with the idea of new regionalism. Sweden represents a deviant case study, where regions historically have been politically weak and where Sweden has been characterized as a strong unitary state. The aim of this paper is to analyze the political debate in the Swedish parliament concerning the implementation of a stronger regional level (storregioner) during 2007-2010 and to determine if the debate can be characterized as a case of depoliticalization. The theory of depoliticalization have been introduced by Richard Katz and Peter Mair to explain why political parties through external pressure from europeanisation and globalization tend to become more consensual with similar political agendas, leading to a diminished the lef-right scale.

Studies have shown that mergers and acquisitions often fail and that a reason to this might be that investment banks do not take any responsibility for the post merger integration. Despite this there have been no studies of the potential benefits of an investment bank taking a holistic approach to the M&A-process and including post merger integration in its service. This study identifies a couple of investment banks that does this and calls them holistic investment banks. In M&A-theory a successful process is often described according to so called success factors that need to be fulfilled in order to achieve a successful result of the merger or acquisition. The business model and work approach of one holistic investment bank is analyzed in this case study on the base of seven success factors from established theories.

SyfteSyftet med min undersökning är att undersöka och diskutera hur idrottslärare arbetar med digitala hjälpmedel och om de anser att deras elevers lärande påverkas om läraren använder sig av digitala hjälpmedel i undervisningen.FrågeställningarHur arbetar idrottslärare med digitala hjälpmedel i sin undervisning?Hur anser idrottslärare att deras elevers lärande påverkas om man får in digitala hjälpmedel i ämnet idrott och hälsa?Hur kan digitala hjälpmedel vara ett verktyg i bedömningen?MetodDen metod som användes för studien att nå syftet och för att kunna få svar på frågeställningarna var kvalitativa intervjuer. Det är tre idrottslärare som intervjuas från olika skolor.ResultatUndersökningen visar att de intervjuade lärarna anser digitala hjälpmedel är ett bra verktyg inom ämnet idrott och hälsa. Lärarna ser många vinningar med digitala hjälpmedel inom sin undervisning. Dels för att bedöma elevers kunskaper samt för att det är ett bra redskap för att det blir visuellt tydligare för eleverna.

There are several ways of conducting software testing where some may include users and others may include personnel whose work task is to execute test on systems. Although most developers and project managers understand the point of testing the system, it is not always being done and the most common reason is that there is no time for it. However, this is a false assumption as it may instead cause some bugs in the system that would not have been there in the first place if tests had been there to prevent bugs in the code.My purpose for this thesis was to find suggestions for changes in the development process in an ongoing project used by Acino and Svenska Försäkringsfabriken in order to increase the quality of the system used. In this thesis, I have approached the purpose by pursuing a case study of the two companies through observation and interviews. By doing this I acquired the relevant information to make suggestions for change.

Problem: Which factors affect customer satisfaction in a non-physical bank relation? Purpose: The purpose with this thesis is to study what creates customer satisfaction in a non-physical bank relation. We look at this by conducting a case study in which we studied the opinion of customers who uses the e-bank at FöreningsSparbanken. Method: We have used a qualitative data method through which we have received answers from our respondents, these we have interpreted to form information, which we have used in our analysis. In our empirical study we have used a case study in which we have chosen to interview both customers and co-workers to get an answer to our problem.

 Utifrån två pedagogiska metoder Verkstadsarbetet och Datorn som pedagogiskt verktyg är syftet med studien att söka svar på frågorna om hur elevers språklärande synliggörs samt vilka förutsättningar som ges för elevers språklärande. Studien är en fallstudie med etnografisk ansats. Vid datainsamlingen användes triangulering och de datainsamlingstekniker som användes var deltagande observationer, informella samtal med både elever och lärare samt en fokusgruppintervju med lärare. Resultatet visar att elevernas språklärande synliggörs genom olika typer av samtal, i analoga läspraktiker, i analoga skrivpraktiker, i digitala läspraktiker och i digitala skrivpraktiker. Studien visar vidare att ett stort antal förutsättningar, inom olika områden, ges för elevers språklärande.

Datorn har idag en central roll i vårt samhälle och det är naturligt att skolan tar till sig ny teknik och använder datorn som ett verktyg för elevernas lärande. Syftet med min undersökning är att ta reda på om datorn, i arbetet med Arne Tragetons metod ?Att skriva sig till läsning ? IKT i förskoleklass och skola?, har en naturlig roll i läs- och skrivinlärningen. I min undersökning har jag valt en kvalitativ intervjustudie som huvudmetod, vilken jag kompletterat med observationer i de intervjuade pedagogernas barngrupper. På så sätt har jag fått en bra inblick i hur det praktiska arbetet med Tragetons metod går till i klassrummet.

In this research paper I have interpreted and analysed how it is possible for a Radical Right Populist Party such as FPÖ (The Freedom Party) to obtain electoral success in the end of the last millennium. In 1999 they were elected into the national legislative parliament with 26.9% of the votes and participated in the Shüssel government from February 2000. I believe this is an extreme case study and my method is the so called Disciplined-configurative case study. I?ve conducted this study by using earlier published research and than dividing these old theories into to three analytical categories.

Detta projekt, i kursen Examensarbete i teknisk design, produktionsdesign vid Luleå tekniska universitet, har utförts på Scania CV AB i Södertälje mellan januari och juni 2014. Utöver denna rapport presenterades projektet både vid Luleå tekniska universitet och vid Scania CV AB. Fokus i arbetet var att ta fram en metod för riskbedömning avseende hand- och armvibrationer hos handhållna verktyg som är anpassad för Scanias produktionsverksamhet i Sverige. Målet var att Scania på ett enhetligt sätt ska ha kontroll över vibrationsexponeringen som arbetstagarna utsätts för, i enlighet med kraven från Arbetsmiljöverkets föreskrift, AFS 2005:15 ? Vibrationer, där insats- och gränsvärdet är 2,5 m/s2 respektive 5,0 m/s2.

The most important conclusion of this study is that the negotiations between the parties ends when conflicts arise from property owners, and with this the time will be extended and be more costly. During the study it has been shown that good communication is the key to an effective and successful negotiation between the parties.The purpose of this study is to investigate how the practical procedure under expropriation is in relation to the legal text, in other words, describe and analyze the procedure for expropriation under current rules but also to explain how it operated in practice. This is to get a picture of how the process works and what effects it receives.Three methods were used for the study. A literature review for understanding how expropriation relates according to the law. A case study from an ongoing expropriation in Sundsvall municipality, and an interview with seven affected interested parties from the expropriation.Reviewed literature describes how the application of the Expropriation Act must go to as well as other research on the topic.

Denna rapporten är en jämförelse av forensiska verktyg, i detta fallet är verktygen EnCase och BackTrack. Vi kommer i den här rapporten att jämföra vissa utvalda verktyg som representeras i båda programmen, och analysera resultatet av detta. Analysen och jämförelsen kommer därefter ligga till grund för om man kan få fram lika bra resultat med ett open-source program som med ett program man betalar för. Vi kommer att utföra analysen genom att använda en bevisfil och utföra tester på den i både BackTrack och EnCase. Resultatet kommer att diskuteras och presenteras i denna rapport.För att få fram bästa möjliga resultat kommer vi även att intervjua vissa utvalda personer med erfarenhet utav att arbeta med dessa program, för att få fram deras synpunkter.
