A wish for a higher standard of living has driven the rate of consumption in Sweden. Mainfocus in business is on a higher growth and profitability where some companies use a lowprice strategy to win competitive advantage. The positive consumption pattern spiral is oftendiscussed in media, while criticism is limited and often refers to the environment. In order toreduce our ecological footprint we should consume more sustainably. More and morecompanies implement CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in their business strategy tobecome more sustainable.

Surrogate boycotts are highly threatening for corporations in terms of both economical cost and image damage. All corporations are due to our globalized environment and increased stakeholder fragmentation gradually more risking to become victims of surrogate boycotts, which of nature is hard if not impossible to predict and prevent. Corporations are generally recommended to build clear and strong corporate identities, which should be reflected in their most important stakeholders, as this will secure minimum damage on the corporate image.Even a surrogate boycott situation can have positive effects on corporations, especially in terms of image, as such situation increases the brand involvement and thereby make it possible for corporations to connect with important stakeholders on an emotional level..

Syftet med våran uppsats är att studera huruvida olika verktyg kan användas av en projektledare för att skapa samt bibehålla gruppeffektiviteten i projektets olika faser. De slutsatser vi har gjort efter vår studie är att samtliga våra valda verktyg har en stark inverkan på grupp-effektiviteten samt att de går att koppla till, i vissa fall en specifik fas, men i andra fall har verktyget en stor inverkan på hela projektet. Efter vår gjorda studie har vi också dragit slutsatsen att mycket av grundstenarna för gruppeffektivitet skapas i inledningsfasen..

Syftet med denna studie är att belysa förutsättningarna för att använda naturreservat som ett verktyg mot ohälsa utifrån tre viktiga samhällsinstanser: kommun, landsting och länsstyrelse. Som metod har jag använt mig av tre kvalitativa intervjuer. Intervjuerna var halvstrukturerade, spelades in, transkriberades och bearbetades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys där ansatsen var en blandning av induktion och deduktion. Resultatet tyder på att de naturreservat som valts ut med omsorg om växter och djur, och där man satsat på tillgänglighet så väl ute i naturen som med information, kan verka som verktyg mot såväl fysisk som psykisk ohälsa förutsatt att de tjänstemän som arbetar med samhällsutveckling och folkhälsa får de ekonomiska resurser och den utbildning som behövs för utvecklingen samt att de värdesätter ett ökat samarbete..

Vårt arbete grundar sig i att vi har ett stort intresse för litteratur, då vi har fått lyssna på och upptäcka olika typer av böcker under vår uppväxt. Vi anser att arbetet med detta är viktigt i förskolans verksamhet, då det bland annat främjar barns språkutveckling och gruppens sammanhållning. Litteratur är ett bra och användbart verktyg i verksamhetens olika områden. Genom en enkät och två ostrukturerade intervjuer har vi fått svar på våra frågeställningar. Våra frågeställningar är; Hur ofta används litteratur i barngrupp? Hur sker valet av den litteratur som används? Hur arbetar pedagoger utifrån litteratur? Vi har fått en inblick i hur pedagoger använder sig av detta.

 Globaliseringen och den avancerade informations- och kommunikationstekniken har möjliggjort för företag att låta personalen arbeta utspritt på olika geografiska platser, vilket har gjort att distansledarskap är ett växande fenomen. Studiens syfte var att, utifrån ett chefsperspektiv, få ökad kunskap om ledarskap på distans med fokus på vilka eventuella utmaningar som distansledarskap för med sig samt vilka verktyg och strategier som blir särskilt betydelsefulla vid denna form av ledarskap. Fem fokuserade intervjuer, som analyserades med induktiv tematisk analys, visade att de utmaningar som distansledarskapet förde med sig var: att ständigt vara nåbar och tillgänglig, att upptäcka problem i tid, att balansera och anpassa kontakten samt att få tiden att räcka till. De verktyg och strategier som blev särskilt betydelsefulla var: samarbete och stöd inom organisationen, dokumentation och informationshantering, kommunikation, schemalagda möten samt fysisk närvaro och tillgänglighet. Studiens resultat visade att regelbunden kontakt och förtroendeingivande relationer får betydelse för distansledarskapets framgång.

The persecution of the Rohingya Muslim minority population in southwestern Burma has come to the fore in recent years. The aim of this study is to first analyse the degree and respects of biopolitical control in the case of political oppression. Secondly, the aim is to compare the similarities and differences when it comes to the causes, mechanisms and expressions of the two theoretical starting points in the case.Giorgio Agamben´s biopolitical theory, which tries to reconnect state control over life and death with modernity, forms the basis of the analysis. Will Kymlicka´s liberal theory on minority rights serves as a theoretical comparison tool. Methodological starting points to the specific bilateral purpose will be both of the textual and discursive analytical tradition.

The purpose with this thesis was to describe the importance of the creative industries for a town. We thought that towns could design a strategy to attract creative industries and creative people to establish their business in the town. During the study some important topics, such as a town brand, a town image and a town identity has been identified as factors that can influence and attract people and creative industries. Towns can use these topics in their marketing of the town. The method that we used was a case study: we conducted interviews to collect information about the chosen case study, the town of Skellefteå.

The purpose of this master's degree thesis was to develop an understanding of how hospital management, in the case studied, worked to achieve changes in an organization influenced by differing professional cultures. To gain insight into the conditions that may have contributed to nurses and physicians developing appropriate attitudes and behaviours, which may have affected the organization's ability to achieve the Swedish Quality Award 2012. A qualitative single case study was conducted at Karlskoga Hospital, with focus groups as well as individual depth interviews. The results of the case study showed the following conditions provided nurses and physicians the potential to develop appropriate attitudes and behaviours, which may have influenced the hospitals ability to achieve the Swedish Quality Award:  Responsibility and influence over the development processes.Participation in management teams and quality development groups as well as individual fields of responsibility.Training programs that have given insights and skills in quality management related to clinical practice.Nurses and physicians as key individuals gave legitimacy to development process, and served as management advisors.Collaboration between all kind of employees and responsibilities.Committed management.    .

Den här rapporten hanterar ett uppdrag från företaget Logica gjort som ett examensarbete på utbildningen Högskoleingenjör inom Datateknik, programmet Webbutveckling/Programmering och datanät, på Tekniska Högskolan i Jönköping. Uppdraget gick ut på att kontrollera om ett system skrivet i programmeringsspråket PL/SQL går att konvertera till Java. Programmet i fråga var ett reskontrasystem.Syftet med projektet var att företaget skulle kunna konvertera deras system på ett så kostnadseffektivt och tidsbesparande sätt som möjligt. Frågor som rapporten har tagit upp är huruvida det finns konverteringsverktyg som kan göra detta och om i så fall det finns några ?Best-practises? angående detta.

The purpose of this study is to examine in what extent primary school teachers, teaching children in the age of 6 to 9, choose to use digital tools in their teaching of mathematics. I also want to examine what these teachers think, in terms of advantages and disadvantages, about using digital tools on their mathematics lessons. Finally I want to examine what skills they possess about digital tools.I am using a quantitative method to collect my data. The quantitative survey consisted of a questionnaire survey of ten questions that 38 primary school teachers have answered.The results of my study show that the teachers to some extent use digital tools when they teach mathematics and that the availability of various digital tools are generally good. But it turns out that the availability of tools is not a guarantee that they are used in teaching of mathematics.

Problem The culture sector is characterized by qualitative goals which raise questions such as how do you measure culture and what is ?good? culture? Both the goals and the measurements tend to result in subjective judgments, which according to the theory make result control inefficient. Yet, result control is frequently used in the culture sector; which leads up to our research question: What characterizes the problems of result control in the culture sector?Purpose The aim of this study is to make a survey of how the Gothenburg Opera works with result control and follow-up. By defining how it tackles the different problems, which could arise with result control in a non-profit organisation, we aim to map how the problems regarding result control are characterized in the Gothenburg Opera.

Sammanfattning Med denna forskning har jag från olika perspektiv belyst portfolio som verktyg till aktivt lärande. Jag har också försökt förstå hur elever och pedagoger upplever varandras utveckling med portfolio som arbetssätt. Intressant har också varit vilka tankar och drivkrafter ligger bakom valet av portfoliometodiken. Genom frågor till skolledare och enkäter med elever och pedagoger i en portfolioskola har jag velat, med ett täckande perspektiv, bidra till tidigare forskningar. Jag använde mig av intervjufrågor till skolledare och enkäter av kvantitativ och kvalitativ karaktär för pedagoger och elever.
