Title: Experiences of Banner advertisement on a specialized homepage

Purpose: Create a understanding for how the users on Internet pages experience
the occurrence and the shape of the banners.
Method: Methods used are quantitative and qualitative, and the facts and
figures are based on a pop up inquiry and some telephoneinterviews. I elected
pop up inquiry and telephoneinterview as my data collection. My inquiry had a
high grade of standardization and the interviews had a low grade of
standardization.
Result: On the basis of the question of issue I have drawn the conclusion that
the users feels that it is important with information in all advertising. It is
also important for the users to create a value around the product. The users do
not have the time to figure out the message behind advertising, the want simple
and massive information about the product/service.
Varumärkesvärde ur två perspektiv : En gap-analys av försäkringsbranschen
Aim: The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze how insurance companies work to create value and confidence in their brands and then compare whether consumers perceive brands as companies seek.Method: The study is a gap analysis of both qualitative and quantitative in nature containing both interviews with insurance companies and a survey carried out on consumers. The study has been developed by analytical induction.Data: Consists of interviews with representatives from the insurance companies and survey responses from 99 consumers.Conclusion: From the study it can be concluded that the insurance industry is unique in its kind as a difficulty and complexity is obviously applicable to convey an overall impression to the consumer, which in turn will produce a brand value to the company. Creating a high brand value through good marketing where it maintained a good congruence between firms striving and consumer perception, is according to the scientists complicated because the lack of perceived quality affects the the big picture..

Competition makes it difficult to reach out with a message and it is crucial to differentiate the company in the consumer market.Differentiation of the brand requires knowledge of competitors who are on the market. Understanding competitors, as well as the customer, is the basis for a well functioning communication. Different markets have different conditions and today's global market is complex.
Ägarlägenheter : En studie av tre delmarknader i viss jämförelse med bostadsrätt
Background Apartment ownership is a popular and well established type of housing in many countries, such as Norway, Denmark and UK. During spring 2009 the Swedish Parliament passed a new legislation which made it possible for apartment ownerships also in Sweden. But apartment ownership has had a slow start, which partly can be explained by the recent recession.Purpose & methodThe purpose of this paper is to study the market of apartment ownership in Öckerö, Stockholm and Karlstad. The study is a qualitative examination where relevant companies from the submarkets have been interviewed.ResultThe result of this study shows that the interest for apartment ownership is over all high in all three submarkets. It is yet clear the knowledge about apartment ownership is generally poor among the public, and when the banks still misses proper routines for mortgages, it creates uncertainty, and slows down the market.
TV4 Sverige och annonspaketet Sumo
Syftet med uppsatsen är att genom en fallstudie titta på TV4 Sveriges säljprocess av deras annonspaket Sumo, genom en modell bearbetad utifrån Roger Bests (2005) andelsutvecklingsträd (eng. Share Development Tree) samt marknadsföringssmixen (eng. Marketing Mix)utifrån Kotler et al. (2002).Metod: Metoden som har använts i denna uppsats är kvalitativ, då syftet var att göra en fallstudie av ett företag. En personlig semistrukturerad intervju med bandspelare genomfördes och två intervjuer via e-post gjordes då dessa två respondenter inte hade tid att träffas personligen.
VOX : sittmöbel för det offentliga rummet
A trend in modern landscape architecture is to design pedestrian streets so that vehicles and people move in the same area. By doing this, traffic tends to slow down. On the market though, there is a lack of furniture that corresponds to the requirements of these kinds of public places. Therefore, I have designed this furniture, called VOX, which is planned to be used on streets, schoolyards and squares. One objective has been to promote the product to the industry.To achieve this, I have been in contact with people from different professions, which have all influenced my designprocess.
Materialavfall som resurs : En studie av hur man samarbetar i en region fo?r ha?llbar utveckling
The concept of sustainable development has been pervasive in recent years and many organizations choose to implement sustainability and adapt their activities accordingly. The purpose of this study have been to explore how a collaboration on the use of waste materials may look to analyze what influences cooperation. A case study has been carried out examining a Swedish state regional project aimed at creating partnerships between actors and utilizing textile waste with the help of design. The study was conducted using qualitative methods and the collection of data has been done through interviews and by examining documents. The results show that there are seven key factors that affect cooperation: expectations, commitment, internal communication, a strong non-profit actor, individual treatment, personal networks and the diversity of actors.

Since year 2005 the accounting has changed for public companies because of the new international standards, IFRS. IFRS 3 provides a single international accounting treatment for acquisitions and has broadened the definition of intangible assets. By IFRS 3 goodwill is defined as the excess of the cost of acquisition and is separated from intangible assets. Now goodwill must be annually tested by an impairment test. There are many valuation issues to considerate when it comes to deciding the value of goodwill.
Oberoende skivbolag i förändringstider : Om den förändrade affärslogiken i skivbolagsbranschen
During the last decade the conditions for the music industry have been changed significantly. With the dropping sales of physical phonograms and the increasing illegal file sharing, the record labels have been forced to adapt and thus seek alternative sources of income next to the traditional sales of phonograms. Our purpose was to investigate how smaller Swedish record labels adapt themselves to the changing environment within the music industry and which new alternative sources of income they can use to finance their music production. To do this we used a deductive approach where we started by researching theories we thought were relevant to the subject, which we then used to get valuable information out of our informants.From our empirical investigations it appears that the independent record labels are rather positive about the future and that they will be able to survive, even though they will have to change their ways of working to a large extent. Our results show that the record labels as we know then will disappear.
Östra Göinge- Vildmark, närhet, stillhet
Syftet med vårt examensarbete var att undersöka teorier om platsmarknadsföring i en svensk kommun och även undersöka vilken roll invånarna hade i utvecklandet av kärnvärden, som är grundläggande för platsmarknadsföringen. Vi gjorde en kvalitativ studie där vi intervjuade två respondenter och åtta invånare i den skånska kommunen Östra Göinge för att lokalisera information kring vilka kärnvärden kommunen skulle kunna grunda sin platsmarknadsförnig på. Intervjuerna jämfördes sedan med varandra och även med tidigare teoretiska studier inom platsmarknadsföring för att lokalisera tre kärnvärden som vi kunde använda som bas i en riktig marknadsföringskampanj, närmare bestämt en mässmonter. Studiens resultat visade att invånarna och respondenterna hade mycket lika åsikter kring hur Östra Göinge uppfattades och att en platsmarknadsföringskampanj måste grundas i invånarnas åsikter för att kunna lyckas optimalt..

The purpose of the Sharing Economy is to exploit unused resources between people, as an alternative to buying new and owning themselves (Gansky, 2010). Gansky (2010) argues that a major reason why the Sharing Economy has grown in recent times is, besides from the recession and people?s increased environmental awareness, the urbanization which has made people move closer to each other and in to the big cities. This in addition to an increased use of GPS technology in smartphones enables people to be constantly connected to an ever-changing network. People now share and exchange services and products from each other.

Hållbara transporter i Hemavan Tärnaby och Åre : En innehållsanalys av 13 Svenska turistaktörers hemsidor
Transport is an important aspect to take account in efforts to achieve sustainable tourism development. If we do not change our behavior regarding travel, the consequences will be significant for the environment. This study examines the various transport operators on the two Swedish ski resorts if their websites and marketing are different from each other in the mode selection. The destinations are Åre and Hemavan Tärnaby. They studied modes are two Swedish airlines, two train companies, three bus companies and three taxi companies.These corporate websites are studied with a content analysis in which the results of the keywords that have been developed are scored according to different categories.
Kundbibehållande och lönsamma kundrelationer genom relationsmarknadsföring: fallstudier på JOB media och Polardörren AB
This thesis focuses on RM and customer relationships and tries to answer two research questions: how firms can retain customers and how to generate profitable customer relationships by using relationship marketing. We conducted case studies on JOB media, a company in Luleå, and Polardörren, a company in Öjebyn, Piteå. Our research has revealed that in many ways our case study companies conform in major ways to the theory in this particular area. However there are differences between how these two firms go about in regard to customer retention and establishing profitable customer relationship. We have discovered that JOB media, which is a service company is more inclined to maintaining close and long-term relationships with its customers.

?Vad genererar närvaron i sociala medier för svenska kollektivtrafikbolags vardagsverksamhet och hur kan de användas vid en kris??Syftet med uppsatsen är att belysa problematiken med att kollektivtrafikbolag i Sverige idag inte tar tillvara på möjligheterna med sociala medier. Vi ser ett behov att belysa fördelarna och nackdelarna i samband med användningen av Facebook och Twitter för kollektivtrafikbolag. Studien syftar till att visa att sociala medier är en bra kommunikationskanal som även blir användbar vid en krissituation. Uppsatsen syftar till att förmedla de fördelar som interaktion via sociala medier innebär i vardagsverksamheten och vid en kris.Uppsatsprocessen genomfördes kvalitativt och en induktiv ansats tillämpades.
