The government´s intensions were to give the individuals more influence in their housing, to increase the variety of accommodation and thereby create a freedom of choice when selecting their housing. The introduction was supposed to give the building companies a possibility to build with a new type of ownership and thereby create new and an increased number of projects for the future. This new accommodation form has however not gained the penetrating power that was expected.

Purpose: Examine if there is a connection between the athletic performance and the financial status in football clubs.Theoretical perspectives: This thesis is based on the theory that the modern football club is like every other company trying to maximize profit. The clubs should therefore use the same business strategies.Empirical foundation: The study is based on 25 observations over five years and five Allsvenska football clubs. The data is a compilation of the key ratios from the annual reports and the league table, years 2004 through 2008 in the clubs. I denna studie undersöks hur smak, status och klass uttrycks i reality-TV-programmen Färjan (Kanal 5) och Danspalatset Playa del Sol (TV3). I program som dessa får vi följa människor som åker på kryssningar, semestrar och shoppar, alltmedan vi förväntas skratta åt dem. De ämnen som dessa program behandlar är tätt förbundna med en förståelse av klass. Syftet med denna uppsats är således att belysa klassaspekter och smakhierarkier. Vidare kommer representationen av smak diskuteras i relation till klass och status. Utifrån denna förståelse av klass som relaterat till smak och status skall sedan klasspositionering i programmen undersökas.

The aim of this study was to try to identify what young women see as typically female and how this affects them as individuals, focusing on the female body. How free or limited do they consider themselves to respond to prevailing ideals of beauty, to men and other women. Our questions are how young women construct femininity through the body and why? We do this by using a holistic gender perspective and with the help of key theoretical concepts; gender, normative femininity, heteronormativity, performance, freedom/power and the female body,. We have had a qualitative approach and we have done interviews with six girls in secondary school age.

Denna studie undersöker pojkars syn på och attityd till polisen genom sju kvalitativa intervjuer med pojkar i åldrarna 15-19 år. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten för studien är socialekologisk teori, utvecklad av Shaw och McKay, där deras beskrivning av hur brottslighetens omfattning skiljer sig i olika delar av staden ligger till grund för att två kommuner i Stockholms län valdes ut för denna studie. Teorin beskriver att ungdomar som lever i de mer utsatta områdena ofta övertar normer och värderingar ifrån personer i detta område. Detta gör att attityder till polisen kan antas ärvas via personer i området vilka torde se olika ut i olika utsatta områden. Detta gör denna studie kriminologiskt relevant då syftet var att undersöka huruvida ungdomars bild av polisen skiljer sig i kommuner med olika nivåer av socioekonomisk status.

Industrialization of construction is by some considered to be a solution to the building industry's problems about the lack of quality, high production costs, low productivity and poor environmental adaptation. Meanwhile, industrialized construction partly earned a bad reputation after the million housing program. As large-scale projects where promoted during this period, it worked very well to use the technique of construction elements. In the mid seventies though, criticism arose which claimed that the aesthetic qualities had been deprived in the corporates effort to make housing production as efficient as possible.Tyréns, Derome and CBBT (centre for building and housing in wood) cooperates in a development project to develop a building system for 4-8-storey buildings, consisting of three platforms: a technology platform, an IT platform and a processing platform. The technology platform consists of flexible, industrially built flat modules of wood and from this platform the subsystem stairwells, is broken out.

SammanfattningDet övergripande syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur popularitet och statushierarkier visar sig bland elever på låg- och mellanstadiet på idrottslektioner. Uppsatsens metod innefattade intervjuer med idrottslärare och observationer av idrottslektioner. Tidigare forskning inom ämnet popularitet och status har visat på att grupperingar består av statushierarkier, där elever får olika statuspositioner beroende på hur populära de anses vara. Detta visade sig även i våra intervjuer i att eleverna strävade efter att uppnå en så hög position i gruppen som möjligt. Vi använde teorier från Goffman och Bourdieu för att förklara varför elever framställer sig på olika sätt samt hur distinktioner, kapitalformer och habitus kan förklara och påverka det sociala samspelet i avseende popularitet och status bland elever i olika grupperingar.

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur lärare och elever värderar ämnet hem- och konsumentkunskap (HK) jämfört med idrott och hälsa (IDH) i grundskolan. Undersök-ningen görs ur ett genusperspektiv och resultatet kommer även att jämföras med politikers värdering av ämnet. De frågeställningar jag utgått ifrån är följande:? Hur värderarlärare och elever HK i förhållande till IDH?? Finns det några skillnader mellan kvinnliga och manliga lärares syn på HK och IDH, och vilka är dessa i sådana fall?? Finns det några skillnader mellan flickors och pojkars syn på HK och IDH, och vilka är dessa i sådana fall?För att få fram elevers och lärares värderingar kring skolämnena har en kvantitativ under-sökningsmetod använts. Resultatet visar att HK varken har hög eller låg status bland lärare och elever då ämnet i genomsnitt placerar sig i mitten bland alla ämnen.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur barnskötare och förskollärare ser på yrkesrollerna och dess samspel. Syftet är att synliggöra hur det ser ut i en verksamhet, där arbetsgrupper innehåller olika yrkeskategorier. Vilka är likheterna och skillnaderna mellan de olika yrkeskategorierna gällande status, ledarskap, ansvar och uppgifter? Metod: Studien är kvalitativ.

The aim of this study was to investigate physician?s view of physiotherapy in primary health care. Semi structured interviews were conducted with five physicians. The study was carried out as a qualitative context analyse study. The interviews were coded in categories independently by the two authors.

Futurum.kom is a collaborative marketing project with the aim of strengthening the internal organization of Länsbibliotek Sydost, Regionbibliotek Kalmar and the 25 public libraries within the southeast region. The project intends to externally build the brands of the public libraries in Blekinge, Kalmar and Kronobergs län. This thesis is a study and evaluation of the implementation and results of Futurum.kom?s first campaign "Låna dig rik" at a public library. The analysis is based on the following issues:? What goals does the library have with the "Låna dig rik"-campaign.? What is the feedback from the staff's experience of the users in terms of needs and demands?? In which way does the library choose to implement the marketing campaign and what role do the users have in this process?? What is the internal performance of the library's marketing campaign, what was the experience of the staff of the campaign?? What is the external result of the library's marketing campaign?The method is based on a case study of a single library, with a series of interviews and document analysis of written and electronic documents.

Striga hermonthica, a parasitic weed, has long been believed to be correlated with the declining soil fertility status. However scientists have recently come to question this statement since some recent studies have shown contradictive results. To investigate whether soil fertility status and infestation of Striga hermonthica were correlated and the impact of it were caused by farmer management, 120 farmers in Western Kenya, where Striga hermonthica infestation is prone, participated in this study. In three districts with two sub-locations each, farmers answered a structural questionnaire and identified two fields, one with high and one with low soil fertility. These fields later came to be the basis for this study and soil were therefore also sampled from them.
