ABSTRACTBackgroundPostpartum depression (PPD) occurs in 10% of women who have recently given birth. Postpartum depression is treatable but unidentified and untreated it could lead to serious consequences. There are multiple instruments for screening available. The Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale is the most frequently used and is regarded as the best instrument. AimThe aim of this study was to analyze to what extent and how midwifes and primary care nurses identify mothers with symptoms of depression respectively PPD.

A clean and affordable energy source for cooking is deficient in developing countries. People rely on fuels that contribute to environmental, social and health problems.Biogas is an alternative energy source and an increased investment in small-scale biogas production can in several developing countries be found. Several projects have started to use the technology in developing countries because of the benefits with biogas. Some cases in the establishment of biogas plants have succeeded and some have not. The study is a literature review supplemented by two field studies.

Negativ miljöpåverkan i form av föroreningar och koldioxidutsläpp är enorm idag. Men också de stora kostnader som tillkommer när man ska försöka bygga miljösmart. Framtiden kräver av oss att börja utnyttja förnyelsebara råvaror för en hållbar utveckling. Trä anses vara ett miljövänligt material och bör användas som stommaterial i höga byggnader i större utsträckning än det görs idag. De vanligaste stomsystem som förekommer i träbyggnader är pelar-balksystem, skivsystem av massivträ och regelsystem. Dessa tre stomsystem kan sedan kombineras i tre olika byggmetoder: platsbygge, prefabricerade planelement eller prefabricerade volymer.Det finns flera aspekter som påverkar valet av stomsystem och byggmetod, t.ex.

Stress har funnits förekomma i läraryrket. Stress kan samvariera med konflikter i den psykosociala arbetsmiljön. Studiens syfte var därför att undersöka om konflikthanteringsstilar hade något samband med upplevelsen av stress. Ett annat syfte var att undersöka vilken konflikthanteringsstil som var mest och minst förekommande, samt att belysa universitetslärares upplevda stressnivå. Ytterligare syfte var att undersöka om stress och konflikthanteringsstilar hade något samband med kön och ålder.

Hösten 2011 utsattes vårdföretaget Carema för ett mediedrev, där det på några av företagets enheter, främst på Koppargården, uppmärksammades stora brister i vården. Med utgångspunkt i konceptet employer brand, samt med hjälp av teorierna om psykologiskt kontrakt och social identitetsteori, tittar denna studie på personal på två andra Caremaenheter med syftet att undersöka hur dessa anställda upplevt mediedrevet samt varför de har påverkats på det sätt som de gjort. Tio anställda intervjuades, svaren analyserades med en kombination av induktiv och deduktiv tematisk analys. Resultatet visade att mediedrevet upplevdes som jobbigt men i varierande grad. Många upplevde att deras arbete blev ifrågasatt, att drevet gjorde dem misstänksamma mot nya yrkesrelaterade kontakter och att de blev oroade över företagets framtid.

In my work I have chosen to examine the profitability for small scale production of hemp briquettes. My study also includes a review of which briquette technique that is the most common one among small scale producers. The reason that I have chosen this subject is because of the discussions about climate and energy that we face almost every day. I also think the subject is extra interesting in these days when the grain prizes are at a historic high level. In order for me to achieve a reliable report, a hemp and briquette producer has given me the actual data from his farm. In that way I have been able to make my calculations from a concrete perspective.

Varumärkesplacering i digitala spel i samband med belöning och bestraffning harundersökts i denna studie. Resultat från tidigare studier på varumärkesplacering i spelanvändes i utformningen av undersökningen. Tidigare undersökningar av belöningoch bestraffning och dess inverkan på minnet studerades också. Detta kan vara förstagången som varumärkesplacering i digitala spel undersöks i samband med interaktivbelöning och bestraffning.Två versioner av spelet Supertuxkart skapades för undersökningen; den ena medbelönings- och bestraffningsåterkoppling och den andra utan. Deltagare från Kina ochSverige medverkade i experimentet.Undersökningen visade att varumärken med belöning eller bestraffning har tydligaeffekter på deltagarnas memorering av varumärken.

Vi ämnar kartlägga arbetet kring varumärkesstrategier hos Öhrlings PriceWaterhouseCoopers, avsedda för att attrahera, behålla och utnyttja kompetent personal. Vårt syfte blir således att undersöka företagets ”employer brand”, samt hur det påverkar organisationens interna arbetsprocesser och positionering på kompetensmarknaden. Uppsatsen är av kvalitativ och kartläggande fallstudiekaraktär och vi har använt oss av en induktiv undersöknings ansats. Primärdata utgörs av intervjuer med representanter från fallföretaget samt en expertintervju. Ur studien går att urskönja att investeringar görs i företagets employer brand.

Idag ställs individer inför många olika val. Individer skiljer sig åt då de fattar beslut och forskning tyder på att individer har en beslutsfattarstil. Denna studie åsyftade att studera sambandet mellan beslutsfattarstil och ånger samt om maximerare har större benägenhet att ångra sig. Dessutom undersöktes korrelationen mellan ånger och beslutsångest. 149 deltagare besvarade tre självskattningsformulär bestående av General decision making style, Regret scale, Maximization scale samt fyra tillagda påståenden.

The challenge that companies currently face in their attempts to break through the media clutter has resulted in an increased use of provocative advertising worldwide. History shows that this strategy can result in a brand crisis due to negative consumer sentiment. Despite this fact, advertisement generated crisis remain a relatively unexplored field in the academic world of marketing. The objective of this thesis is to further explore crisis creation from provocative advertising, evaluate the affiliated negative consumer consequences, and to examine the effects of two contrasting company strategies to remedy these types of crisis situations. An experiment was conducted on Swedish and Norwegian students in order to examine whether the communication and information sharing between the target consumers and others could explain the development and consequences of provocative advertisement crisis due to its psychological effects.

The aim of the study is to investigate how pedagogues working with gesticulation and facial expressions to communicate with children aged 3-5 years. The methods used are observations as well as interviews of educators. My empricial evidence was collected on two different preschools in Värmland County. The pedagogues are dealing with body language in a conscious way by collections as they sing and they reinforce feelings of characters support. In my conclusion I have come come to the conclusion that there is no difference on how male and female educators use gesticulation and facial expressions without its personality traits and body language often are unconsciously in conversations with children..

The recent development in several countries? legislation and best practice recommendations in relation to corporate governance in general and audit committees in particular have affected Swedish listed corporations in the form of the Swedish Corporate Governance Code and the coming EU-directive. This paper aims to discover what factors affected Swedish listed companies to form audit committees when this was entirely voluntary. We collected data from the annual reports of 121 Swedish listed companies and formed eleven hypotheses as to what factors we believed affected the voluntary formation of audit committees based on Agency Theory, economies of scale and circumstances specific to the Swedish environment. We then analyzed the data through the use of a multivariate logistic regression model.

I denna studie undersöks orsaker till att vissa elever inte är aktiva i någon föreningsidrott samt hur idrott och hälsa kan få fler elever intresserade och engagerade i föreningsidrotten. Fokus har varit att undersöka de föreningsinaktiva elevernas perspektiv och hur deras motivation i ämnet idrott och hälsa ser ut.Studien utgår från strukturerade intervjuer med tio elever samt en svensk version avSport motivation scale och Academic motivation scale för att tydliggöra elevernas motivation. Resultatet visar att de elever som inte är aktiva i en idrottsförening har låg motivation till idrott och hälsa. De anledningar som framkommer till att eleverna inte är delaktiga i någon idrottsförening är främst att de inte har något intresse eller har andra intressen. Även tidsbrist och för seriös satsning inom idrottsföreningarna uppges som orsak till att inte delta i en idrottsförening.

This study views literary authors as brands and their books as products. The essay examines if different marketing activities will influence attitudes and intentions towards these brands, depending on how famous the author is and how much knowledge the consumer possess about the product category. The theory, which the hypotheses are based upon, mainly consists of research about culture, brands, attitudes and intentions. The study is quantitative and has an experimental design consisting of different written scenarios. These scenarios are based on background information about a fictive fiction author and type of marketing campaign.

The purpose of our study has been to analyze the character of the interaction between music labels and media and to examine to what extent the artist brand is being considered in music labels relationship with media. This has resulted in our research question:What characterizes the large music labels relationship with media?For this study we have used a qualitative approach to achieve a deeper understanding of our chosen topic. We have conducted seven interviews with representatives from both major record labels and media companies with great knowledge about our subject. Five of the interviews were conducted face-to-face and two were performed via e-mail.In the final chapter we answer our research question and thus present our conclusions.
