Syftet med denna rapport är att jämföra hur två företag inom konfektionsbranschen skapar sin varumärkesidentitet samt visa hur den återspeglas i deras image. Rapporten reder ut begreppen varumärkesidentitet och image och applicerar dessa begrepp på företagen H&M och JC. Företagens varumärkesidentitet sammanfattas genom en empirisk analys av företagen baserad på Identitetsprismat av Jean-Noël Kapferer. Utifrån varumärkesidentiteten utförs en enkätundersökning för att undersöka hur företagens identitet reflekteras i den image som återfinns i kundernas medvetande. Valet av företag baseras på deras aktualitet inom media angående respektives arbete kring varumärkesidentitet.

The purpose of this essay is to examine what can be considered as obscene in the work of JoelPeter Witkin and Marc Quinn, what the similarities and differences are. The essay concerns thehuman body, the norms around it and the old vision of the ideal body. To get closer to myquestion I’ve been examine the meaning of anti-ideal, what it means and what kind of history ithas. The works I’ve been using to reach to my purpose are Marc Quinn’s sculpture Alison Lapper(2005) and Joel Peter Witkin’s photography Abundance (1997). Both of the works are taking theposition that use to belong to the classical beauty.

Avsikten med studien är att beskriva vilka problemområden som kan uppstå vid skillnader mellan varumärkesidentitet och image hos ett köpcentrum. För att undersöka detta har vi valt att studera hur Galleria Duvan i Karlstad arbetar med sin varumärkesidentitet. Därefter har vi undersökt hur konsumenterna uppfattar denna identitet och vilken image denna organisation har hos dem.För att genomföra våra studier har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ metod där de intervjuer vi har utfört har varit djupintervjuer. En intervju på en representant från Galleria Duvans marknadsgrupp har genomförts samt tio stycken intervjuer på konsumenter. Resultatet av studien har gett indikationer på att det finns skillnader mellan köpcentrumets identitet och den image som konsumenterna upplever. Dessa skillnader ligger främst i kommunikationen av budskapet via sin marknadskommunikation.

The various concepts are; the epicpicture book, the expanding text as well as the genuine picture book. Syftet med denna studie är att få mer kunskap om hur man kan använda kroppen i sångundervisning. Jag undersöker vad ett urval av sångpedagoger anser om förhållandet mellan röstorganet och resten av kroppen och hur de tillämpar det praktiskt i sin undervisning. Metoden jag använder mig av är en kvalitativ intervjuundersökning och resultatet visar bland annat att pedagogerna använder kroppen i sångundervisningen genom övningar med rörelser, olika muskelspänning och avslappning. Några av slutsatserna är att det är viktigt med balans mellan anspänning och avspänning, att använda rätt sorts muskler och rörelser samt att använda dessa på rätt sätt.The purpose of this study is to get more knowledge of how you can use the body in voice-training. In this study we have examined in which way the horse is used in Equine Assisted Therapy, and what effects the treatment staff experience and describes that the interaction with horses has on girls who self-harms. Our Empirical data was collected through qualitative methods such as interviews, participant observation and informal interviews with a total of six different informants, from five different activities with Equine Assisted Therapy for girls who self-harms. In the analysis we have assumed symbolic interactionism, a theory focusing on the human as a social being, where the self-image alters in the social interaction with other human beings. We interwove this theory with the Biophilia hypothesis, an explanatory model concerning human?s relationship to animals and nature.The conclusions we have found in the results are:Equine Assisted Therapy is a complementary treatment comprises both horseback riding and exercises which is not based on the horsebackEquine Assisted Therapy almost always involves three parts, the therapist, the client and the horse.

The topics being discussed are appearance and values. At Saab Aerosystems, situated in Linköping Sweden, there is a presentation and manoeuvre simulator simulating the fighter jet JAS-39 Gripen. This flight simulator is called PMSIM. In this thesis we study how to transfer sensor images generated by PMSIM to other simulators or desktop computers. The transmission is band-limited so some kind of image coding must be used. Because of this the greater part of this thesis is concerned with image coding.

This essay aims to examine how the synthetic non-human subjects, EDI and Legion, are constituted in terms of their bodies, gender, desire and emotion, in the gaming series Mass Effect. In a close-gaming method I also want to explore in which way the gamer can effect or even change the expressions of the body, gen­der, desire, and emotion made by the synthetic non-human subjects. In order to do this I use Judith Butlers and Sara Ahmeds queer theory, and Donna Haraways cyborg feminism. I concluded that EDI em­braces her embodiments and is given a highly sexualized female body, being more of a woman than a machine. While Legion is rather embracing disembodiment and is given a non sexualized, androgynous male body, be­ing more of a machine than a man.

In this project the author made an attempt to, in a short film, visualizean experience of the organic materials that our bodies consist ofand what becomes of it when we die. The intention was to dissect thismatter, break it down to see it in a simpler form and to explore ourrelationship to it, being part of a constant exchange between organicmaterials and having so much power over the environment and otherliving animals. At the very start, the idea was to deal with the relationshipdifferent people have with their bodies. Later in the process, a decisionwas made that the product would be communicating the author?sown experiences of the body materials after studying it and trying torecreate fragments and feelings of them.

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka och analysera hur olika varumärken bevarar sin varumärkesidentitet och image när de utvidgar sitt märke mot nya produktkategorier.Metod:Denna uppsats har en kvalitativ forskningsmetod med en abduktiv ansats. Vi valde detta metodval eftersom vår ambition var att komma nära vårt problemområde, vilket gjordes genom att skapa en djupare förståelse för ämnet. Sju intervjuer har gjorts med personer för att bygga den empiriska studien. Dessa personer har en anknytning och arbetar aktivt för och med varumärket. Dessutom har en intervju gjorts med en docent som är expertis inom området varumärkesutvidgning.Slutsatser:Vi har genom analys och slutsats kommit fram till att identitet och image är två viktiga aspekter som ska finnas med vid en utvidgning av ett varumärke.
