This paper is a literature study on search engine optimization (SEO) considering the leader of the search engine market: Google. There´s an introductory background description of Google and its methods of  crawling the Internet and indexing the web pages, along with a brief review of the famous PageRank algorithm. The purpose of this paper is to describe the major important methods for improved rankings on Google´s result lists. These methods could be categorized as on-page methods tied to the website to be optimized or off-page methods that are external to the website such as link development. Furthermore the most common unethical methods are described, known as ?black hat?, which is the secondary purpose of the text.

Uppsatsen är indelad i tre delar, analys, genomförande och resultat. Analys delen beskriver följande verksamhetsområden; hur gruppen anställda på Black Drop Studios agerar i samspelet med varandra, vilken typ av ledarskap som bedrivs, hur produktionen är strukturerad, vilka projektledningsverktyg och metoder som används. Genomförande delen beskriver olika åtgärder för dessa verksamhetsområden, för att göra dessa mer effektiva. Resultat delen beskriver vilka åtgärder som införts samt vilka som planerade att genomföras.

This master thesis concerns itself with the actual work of knowledge workers, consultants to be specific. We have through interviews and observation tried to get inside of the ?black box? of the consultants firm Consult in an effort to describe their way of working through a theoretical framework. In this framework we attempt to combine knowledge work theory with that of organizational development, OD. We try to introduce the situation of the individuals we study, the consultants, through Alvesson (2004) and Løwendahl (2005).

Syftet med uppsatsen är att belysa en utvecklingsprocess och ett möjligt förhållningssätt till upplevelsekunskap där samband mellan slumpmässiga händelser, kreativitet, improvisation och meningsskapande har varit särskilt betydelsefulla. Mitt c-arbete består av två separata delar: Dels en film och dels ett skriftligt arbete, där båda arbeten utgår ifrån ett och samma problemområde. Jag har använt mig av en interaktiv metod med inspiration från antropologiska metoder, självetnografi och sociologiska idéer om själva deltagandet och berättandet som verktyg. Jag har utvidgat min förståelsehorisont och utmanat mina värderingar. Jag har ifrågasatt mig själv som berättare och blivande regissör och många av de värderingar vårt samhälle bygger på.

Evaporation is a part of the chemical recovery department at wood pulping mills. The purpose of evaporation is to remove water from the black liquor, which makes the liquor combustible. The process is very energy demanding, and having a well-functioning model of the system is of greatest interest. The model can then be used to study energy consumption and to test different control strategies. Two models have been developed during the master thesis.

This study aims to create an understanding of how employees relate to directives that come from a level above them in the hierarchy and is to be implemented in their working activities. This is studied by examining a case where a work group has tried to implement orders, given to them by the government and through a work group in the level above them in the organizations, concerning how employees working with child health care is to educate parents regarding the child convention. The method that have been use in this study is group interviews with 19 child health care nurses and the two main questions that are asked is why has it been difficult to implement the orders and how have the child health care nurses expressed their resistance to the changes, this since only five of the nurses had begun working with the child convention. The theories that have been used focus on how resistance towards change is expressed, organizational incapability and reluctance towards change, as well as how grass root bureaucrats relates to change. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that it is important to let the concerned parties participate from the beginning of the process, to minimize their reluctance to the changing process.

Denna uppsats tillämpar perspektiven "black feminism" och de andra för se hur sexturismen har tagit sin form i Thailand efter andra världskrigets slut. Genom att använda sig av kvalitativ textanalys och diskursanalys har författaren kommit fram till att det västerländska inflytandet i Thailand har haft ett stort inflytande gällande sexturismen. Dels har Thailand försatt sig själv i en undergiven position när det gäller västerländskt inflytande genom att tillåta ett nästan okontrollerat inflytande direkt efter andra världskrigets slut. Dels har Thailand, genom lagar och reformer, skapat en thailändsk kultur som är mer inriktad på att attrahera utländska turister än att visa den faktiska thailändska kulturen. Detta genom att förstärka och återskapa kvinnans roll i det thailändska samhället till en undergiven roll där det exotiska och primitiva, naturnära och sexuella har varit i fokus..

Slopes in fine till soils are exposed to surface erosion due to rainfall, snowmelt and upland water sources. Large areas of road slopes are therefore covered for surface erosion protection. Preventive methods like ditches and trenches are also being used. Silt tills are particularly troublesome since the water can bring the soil into suspension and cause mudslides. Different methods for erosion protection have been studied in this work, with the emphasis placed on rockfill covering. The need for and the dimensioning of this type of covering has been examined in literature and field studies.

The increasing temperature and the current and projected increase in concentrations of CO2 lead to concern over possible impacts on agricultural pests. This assay is summarizing the knowledge of weeds in a changing climate in Sweden. Global warming and other climatic changes will affect the growth, phenology, and geographical distribution of weeds. The climate change will also affect the weed composition indirect by causing changes in the agriculture.

Upplands Väsby municipality has a vision that podcars in the future will become an effective alternative in public transport, with reduced car-dependency as a result. The system would also attract new inhabitants and businesses to the municipality.This report deals with various issues that podcar stations may face. Also, suggestions for possible track laying at the stations and station design are presented. Two areas are investigated. Eds allé which is a neighborhood that is planned for housing and where the station may be planned into the cityscape from the start.

This essay is about Late Iron Age settlement and its production. I want to define the nature ofthree different workplaces on Bornholm, Denmark, and compare them. My aim is to see if itis possible to define a workplace through the traces of the craftsmanship. Several materials areselected in this essay and the analysis provides different perspective on workplaces in the LateIron Age in Scandinavia. The results of the analysis between the three workplacesAgerbygård, Baggård and Kanonhøj shows that Baggård have more traces of melting of bronsthan any other of the places.

Det här examensarbetet har utförts på Volvo Aero Corporation i Trollhättan. Företaget tillverkar flygplansmotorer, turbiner samt komponenter till flygplans- och raketmotorer. Dessutom utför företaget underhåll på flygplansmotorer. Eftersom företaget behövde ett mer strukturerat sätt att arbeta med förbättringar började Sex Sigma implementeras under år 2000. Ett utbildningsprogram togs fram och medarbetare utbildades till Black Belts och Green Belts.
