SAMMANFATTNING Södra Sandby är vad man ofta kallar en villaförort. Här bor cirka 5 500 invånare och många pendlar till Lund. Större delen av bebyggelsen är från 1970-80-tal. En stor centrumanläggning uppförd i början av 1970-talet dominerar centrala Södra Sandby, anläggningen rymmer bland annat affärer, post och café. Generellt sett är hela orten en uppvisning i bristande variation, något som är tydligt både i parkerna och bebyggelsen.

Business plan competitions have long been used as a mean for entrepreneurial organizations and Universities to educate students in entrepreneurship. But what's in it for the entrepreneur This thesis aim is to understand what utility business plan competitions have for the participating entrepreneurs. It consists of interviews with Swedish entrepreneurs at various stages in the entrepreneurial process, who has participated in business plan competitions to get ahead. The conclusions of the study are that business plan competitions are good for the entrepreneur from a motivational and developmental perspective but not from a financial perspective..

This is a case study of the advertising campaign ?Guld till alla? (Gold to Everyone) embarked upon by Spendrups Bryggeri AB in a bid to promote Norrlands Guld, during the period 2004. The approach used by Spendrups will be compared with theories about communication planning, communication strategies, target group definition and how to create effective advertising. The main purpose of the comparison is to find which central elements that made the campaign successful. The method we have chosen to use is an explanative content analysis with influences from the dialogue analyse.?Guld till alla? was suppose to be an massive and coherent campaign which was to be integrated with large sports events, such as the Ice Hockey World Championship, UEFA European Championship and the Summer Olympic Games, that all took place the year 2004.

This final thesis is a basic inquiry into a countryside programme for the municipality of Hässleholm. By interviewing people who live in the countryside in the municipality of Hässleholm I?ve tried to get a picture of how the thoughts on development of countryside are. Sammanfattning: Över hälften av alla svenska kommuner hade en total stagnation under åren 1999-2009, det är främst bruksorter och landsbygden som stagnerar. I östra Tyskland stagnerade över hälften av städerna med mer än -3 % under åren 1990-2005. De gamla industristäderna i USA har under lång tid haft stora problem med förortsurbanisering. Därför har jag valt i detta kandidatarbete att studera varför städer i dess länder stagnerar, hur de ser på stagnationen och vad de gör åt den. I USA började städer som Detroit och Youngstown stagnera i samband med att industrier lades ner och en förortsurbanisering spred sig i landet.

This project is the result of a cooperation between HalmstadUniversity and EABAB. The aim of the project was to create a macro that would help EABAB automate the process of designing steel trusses. When run in Microsoft Excel, the macro imports and processes coordinates from a calculator program. The data is then imported into the Building Information Modelling software Tekla Structures, which creates a 3D structural model of the steel truss.The macro saves much time in the project planning process and also helps minimize the risk of design flaws caused by human error. .

Många klimatforskare i världen är överens om att en klimatförändring är på väg. I Sverige kan vi vänta oss ett varmare och mer nederbördsrikt klimat. Det varmare klimatet medför bland annat att havs- och landisar smälter vilket bidrar till att havsnivån höjs. Exempel på konsekvenser av det förändrade klimatet är översvämning och erosion. I framtiden anses effekterna inträffa allt oftare framförallt i kustområden.

Vilka föreställningar finns det om kulturarv? Syftet med detta arbete att undersöka vilken plats frågor om kulturarv intar i den kommunala planeringen samt hur kulturarvsfrågor hanteras i planeringen. Syftet är även att öka förståelsen för de konflikter som kan uppstå kring kulturarv och föreställningarna om detta i planeringen. Arbetet består av en empirisk undersökning av två fallstudier. De båda fallstudierna ligger sedan till grund för en jämförelse mellan två detaljplaner, Kvarteret Axel och Stadsmarinan från Karlskrona kommun, Blekinge län. Båda har hanterat kulturarvsfrågor i planprocessen.
