Many studies have an agency theoretical perception on CEO compensation. In accordance with this, compensation is used as a means to solve monitoring and incentives problems.Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the role of CEO compensation, by studying ownership structure.Method: To examine the role of CEO compensation we use a multi-theory approach, based on agency theory, resource dependence theory and managerial theory. The companies examined are Swedish listed firms the in years 2005 to 2009.

The residential yard at Kvarteret Landsfiskalen 1, in the area Herrgården in Rosengård, Malmö was built in 1971 and has since then been reconstructed twice, in 1984 and 2008. The yard is found in an area which was built during the years 1965 ? 1974, a period in which the swedish goverment approved a decision to build one million homes, and much of the events in this particular yard is also typical for the process in many other areas built during the same period.At the original construction the design of the yard was entirely incused by the pressure in time and finance, one was under at that time, in order to over- come the housing shortage. The design it has nevertheless been given, reflects the esthetic ideals of that time well.The building of the area was barely finished when the swedish authori- ties started handing out grants in order to support the rearmament of the outdoor environment in the areas built during the so called ?million program?.

A qualitative case study.Bachelor Thesis; Business administration; Corporate finance.Andreas A?strand, Anton Persson, Kristoffer Wedebrand.Hans Mo?rner.How may the bank improve its financial counselling to private investors using portfolio theory?Our purpose is to examine the advice, with basis in portfolio theory, the bank?s financial advisors provide to their clients, the investors, and how they can improve. If we can identify and point out areas of improvement in the financial counselling, we hope to raise the question and contribute with an improved financial counselling. Another positive effect we are hoping for is to improve the situation for the investors whereas all parties benefit from an improved portfolio selection.This study is conducted through a qualitative case study, where we used a deductive approach and collected our data through personal interviews.The conclusion that emerges is that the financial counselling could potentially be improved if financial advisors improve their knowledge in portfolio theory.The originality shapes through the opportunity to investigate a specific bank and because of that an opportunity to examine a specific case more thoroughly was created. Our thesis contributes with opening La?nsfo?rsa?kringar?s and other banks? eyes to how their financial counselling could be improved through new knowledge in portfolio theory.

The cat has become a popular pet. To secure a prosperous cat-human relationship, the cat owner has to understand what kind of animal the cat is and what requirements need to be fulfilled. The purpose of this literature review is to summarize kittens? needs of socialization, anthelmintics, nutrition, vaccination and gonadectomy, until the age of six months and to give the cat owner information on how to care for the cat during this period. Articles were search for in ScienceDirect, Primo and Scopus.

Since the Chinese economy?s reform in 1980, it has been attracting enormous foreign investments. Many Swedish firms from different sectors such as technology, manufactory production, consumer, service industries and so on, had started their investments in China. China has become the first choice for global manufacturing due to the huge market, continuous economic growth, stable political situation, sound investment environment and the WTO membership. In addition, China's enormous potential in finance, service, infrastructure, telecommunications, wholesales and retail industries will also attract a great deal of foreign capital.

I denna studie skrivs det om den unga generationens (15-30 år) sparande och vad dessahar för inställning till kapital. Det har även studerats om bankerna märkt av någonskillnad mellan de olika generationerna.Författaren till denna studie har suttit med i styrelsen i finansföreningen BUFS (BoråsUniversity Finance Society) på Högskolan i Borås under det senaste året, år 2009, ochdärigenom stött på flera banktjänstemän som bjudits in som talare på Högskolan i Borås.Dessa har pratat om de olika sparmöjligheter som finns för oss privatpersoner samt dealternativ som de anser värda att satsa på om man är i början av sitt sparande. Detta harinneburit att funderingar över hur yngre människor (15-30 år) ställer sig till att spara harväckts.Intresset för detta område växte ytterligare när en intervju från 2008 lästes (SvensktNäringsliv, 2008-05-08) där Linda Hedström, Svenskt Näringslivs expert på ungdomarskonsumtionsvanor, berättade att det är många nya aspekter att ta hänsyn till när studierutförs om ungdomars konsumtionsvanor. Förvaltningen av kapital sker inte på sammasätt som förr, för 60 år sedan då våra far- och morföräldrar växte upp, och hon säger ävenatt dagens ungdomar beskrivs som "den ständigt uppkopplade digitala generationen somsäger ja till konsumtion men nej till reklam". Detta ledde till att författaren blev nyfikenoch intresserad av att få veta mer om dagens ungdomar och deras inställning till kapital,eftersom dagens ungdomar, enligt Linda Hedström (2008-05-08), väldigt gärnakonsumerar bort sitt kapital.För att undersöka detta har statistik tagits fram från SCB, Statistiska centralbyrån, ochsedan har en kvalitativ undersökning använts, vilket inneburit att fokus varit på att fådjupare information ur ett mindre antal fall.

One could argue that the most discussed topic in finance is whether or not it is possible to ?beat the market?. Even though many people claim to do this, there is little evidence to support the idea that one can consistently beat the market over a long period of time. There are indeed several examples of investors who have managed to outperform the market consistently for a long time, but the efforts of these individuals or institutions could by many be considered to be pure luck.One of the many strategies that have been evaluated by several researchers and is said to generate a risk adjusted return greater than that of the market, is one based on the P/E-effect. This strategy is based on the financial ratio P/E ? price divided by earnings ? and used by constructing portfolios consisting of stocks with low P/E ratios.

Earth?s resources have been exploited unsustainably. If an entire conception of exploitationof natural resources does not change now, this will entail enormous costs in the future.This insight has lead to a recently increased interest in clean technologies among privateequity capitalists. In the fourth quarter of 2006 about 10 percent of all private equityinvestments made in the US market were placed in the cleantech industry. Despite a goodinvesting climate in Sweden, Swedish capitalists have shown little interest in cleantechinvestments.

In connection with riding and handling of horses, many accidents that can cause severe injuries to both horses and humans are existent. The cause is in most cases that the horse is frightened. The horse's fear also affects its usefulness and it has been shown to have adverse effects on the horse's welfare. To increase safety and improve the welfare of both humans and horses, it is important to find appropriate training methods to reduce the fear of horses in frightening situations. This experimental study compares handled habituation to free habituation.

Bakgrund: Outsourcing har funnits sedan 1960-talet, men var då vanligast inom IT-sektorn. Numera är outsourcing betydligt mer förekommande efter ett större genomslag under 1990-talet. Då kom en slogan att bli vanlig lydande ?satsa på din kärnkompetens?. Outsourcing handlar om att lämna ut en del av ett företag till en extern aktör för att denne ska sköta den delen.

Bakgrund: Anomalier på aktiemarknader, som bubblor och krascher, har länge legat till grund för diskussioner kring relevansen av traditionella finansiella teorier om den effektiva marknaden och investerares rationalitet. Människorna bakom aktiemarknadens köp- och säljknappar handlar inte alltid rationellt utan påverkas inför ett investeringsbeslut av rykten, information, media, analyser, tips, beslutsproblematik, prestationspress och annat. Men hur hanterar börsens aktörer vetskapen om detta irrationella investeringsbeteende? Eftersom institutionella investerare, till exempel fondförvaltare, förfogar över en stor del av marknadens kapital har vi valt att undersöka hur just denna grupp hanterar psykologiska faktorer och anomalier på aktiemarknaden och om det i förlängningen leder till ett rationellt eller irrationellt investeringsbeteende.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och förklara hur, och i vilken utsträckning, förvaltare av svenska aktiefonder tar hänsyn till psykologiska faktorer vid investeringsbeslut. Vidare syftar studien även till att undersöka om faktorernas effekt ändras i olika marknadssituationer.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att genom en litteraturstudie undersöka vilka huvudsakliga förklaringar som fanns till unga vuxnas psykiska ohälsa. Det var också av intresse att få se om det fanns någon skillnad i sättet att förklara orsakerna till psykisk ohälsa hos män respektive kvinnor. Studien innehöll artiklar ur Läkartidningen, Psykologtidningen, Transmittorn samt en rapport från SOU. Resultatet visade att unga vuxnas psykiska ohälsa bottnade till stor del i ett allt mer individualiserat samhälle. Det hade lett till att ett stort ansvar, många gånger högt över vad individen mäktade med, hade lagts ned på individnivå.

Not only has this phenomenon caught the attention of political scientists, but also academics from other scientific fields.

It is important to ensure and develop the Swedish model for riding schools, since the pupils at a Swedish riding school learn both to ride and to handle horses. There is a pronounced problem of stagnation and in some cases a reduced demand in several of the equine industry sectors including breeding with decreased coverings. The aim of this study was to cast light on how representatives from the horse industry looks at riding schools and their recruitment of horses in the next five years. The research issue was ?Will there be difficulties regarding horse recruitment in 2020 and in that case, what are the consequences?? The results of this work consist mostly of material from a workshop on how the riding school will be affected by reduced breeding in the future.
