Vilka faktorer är av vikt för att uppnå ekonomisk tillväxt? Kring denna fråga har det ständigt debatterats. Det är viktigt för ett land hur dess ekonomiska tillväxt fungerar, hur de uppnår detta kan ske på olika sätt och vad som påverkar den ekonomiska tillväxten finns det blandade meningar om. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka samt förklara vilka faktorer som skapar denna ekonomiska tillväxt, vi kommer undersöka detta genom att titta på den grupp som kallas för utvecklingsländer.Det finns tidigare studier inom detta område men de vi har sett till har delade meningar, vilken om någon specifik faktor som bidrar till ekonomisk tillväxt mer än någon annan. Däremot så finns det gott om tillväxtteorier som försökt förklara vilka faktorer som påverkar tillväxten, vilka vi har använt oss av för att förklara resultatet av analysen.Vi har använt oss av en linjär regressionsmodell, där den beroende variabeln ekonomisk tillväxt är representerad av förändringen i bruttonationalprodukten per capita.

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to in a comparative and causal way explore whether there is a relationship between risk and return and also how it is perceived on the Nordic financial markets.Theory: The theoretical frame of reference applied in the thesis is considered relevant inthe perspective of the study?s purpose and research questions. We have among other theories used The Capital Asset Pricing Model, The Efficient Market Hypothesis and various Behavioural finance theories.Method: The study has its starting point in a quantitative approach with a quantitative data analysis supported by secondary data extracted from Thomson Reuters.Empirics: The empirics contains regression analyses made from calculated secondary data of 240 randomly chosen companies from Nasdaq OMX Stockholm, NasdaqOMX Copenhagen, Nasdaq OMX Helsinki and Oslo Bors.Conclusion: The study conclusions show that there are both a negative and positive relationship between volatility and actual return on the investigated markets. Considering this prior statement we can conclude that the Capital Asset Pricing Model can?t correctly describe the actual relationship between the parameters investigated on the current sample.

Studier inom sociologi och Total Quality Management (TQM) har visat att anställda som är tillfredsställda i arbetet är mer motiverade att göra ett bra jobb, har god arbetsmoral och arbetar mer effektivt än de som inte är tillfredsställda. Syftet med denna kvantitativt inriktade uppsats var att finna huruvida klassposition på arbetsmarkanden, förtroende för ledningen och möjligheten att få hjälp av sina arbetskamrater är faktorer som förklarar sannolikheten att vara mycket tillfredsställd i sitt arbete. Klassposition definierades enligt klasschemat ?Erikson, Goldthorpe och Portocarero? (EGP) där de som har en tjänsterelation betraktades som högre tjänstemän och mellantjänstemän, de som hade ett blandat kontrakt sågs som lägre tjänstemän och att de som hade ett arbetskontrakt definierades som okvalificerade och kvalificerade arbetare.  En logistisk regression genomfördes på det amerikanska datamaterialet General Social Survey (GSS) från år 2010.

This report is the final part within our education, Industrial Organization and Economy focusing on Logistics and Management at Jönköping School of Engineering. The aim with this report is to coordinate recycle drives for deposited aluminum-cans and bottles collected from grocery stores within Jönköping county and locality.In the present situation both aluminum cans and bottles filled with drinks are distributed to the grocery stores by the brewery?s own distributers. At the same time as they supply the drinks they also discharge the grocery stores units with restored aluminumcans and bottles. To make it easier for the grocery stores to handle the goods in the future, all distribution of drinks ought to be directly delivered to the grocery stores own separate central warehouse.

Finanskrisens inträde i mitten av 2008 utsattes Sveriges ekonomi för kraftiga påfrestningar. BNP-tillväxten mattades av och vi har till och med sett en negativ tillväxt för första gången sedan krisen i 90-talets början. Samtidigt har både hushållens konsumtion och näringslivets produktion rasat vilket har bidragit till kännbara effekter och en osäker tid för båda parter. Till en följd av detta har många företag tvingats avveckla sin verksamhet helt medan andra fått se över sina kostnader. Detta har i sin tur bidragit till att arbetslösheten ökat med cirka tre procentenheter mellan 2008 och 2010.

The purpose of this study has been to create a better understading of how face?to?face activities in course´s impacts on the experience of interaction within a course.More specifically, the study puts the student'?s perception of how mandatory face?to?face activities affect and are affected by the interaction in focus. This is done by the following research questions. What affects the student'?s perception of face?to?face activities? Which interaction dimension affects the factors that influence students perception of the activities? Which interaction dimension is influenced by the student'?s perception of the activities?The theoretical base is Wagner'?s (1994) three types of interaction and Andersson´s(2003) theory of interaction dimensions.

Syfte: Studiens syfte är att analysera och undersöka om det finns något samband mellan den finansiella risken och lönsamheten. Det övergripande syftet är att se om valet av finansiell risk fungerar som finansieringsstrategi i verkligheten.Metod: Studien bygger på den deduktiva ansatsen där teorier kommer att testas och analyseras mot empiriska data tagna från årsredovisningar. Den kvantitativa metoden används då data från 305 stycken årsredovisningar ska användas för att finna om det finns samband och variation mellan finansiell risk och lönsamhet definierad som vinstmarginal, Rt och Re. Årsredovisningarna utgörs av sekundärdata som samlats in från databasen Retriever. De statistiska metoder som används är bland annat medelvärde, standardavvikelse, regressions- och korrelationsanalys, hypotesprövning och t-test.Resultat och slutsats: Såväl korrelation- och regressionsanalys som hypotesprövning och t-test visar att det finns samband mellan finansiell risk och lönsamhet definierad som Re.

Syftet med uppsatsen är undersöka huruvida utbildningsnivå och arbetssituation har ett samband med attityder till invandring i Sverige idag. I litteraturen finns det förklaringar som menar att lägre utbildade individer hyser mer negativa attityder mot invandrare och invandring jämfört med högre utbildade individer som genom sin utbildning får ett mer upplyst perspektiv som hämmar de negativa attityderna. Det förekommer även förklaringar som menar att arbetslöshet och en upplevd konkurrens från invandrare leder till negativa attityder mot invandrare och invandring. I den här uppsatsen används material från European Social Survey 2012 för att se hur attityderna mot invandring och invandrare ser ut i Sverige idag. Uppsatsen utgår från två hypoteser.

Abstract. Aim: The aim of this study is to determine certain health, demographic and socioeconomic factors that affect the costs for specialized health care between the municipalities within the Västra Götaland region. Method: The method is explorative and analytical. The costs for specialized health care was divided into three different subgroups; independent somatic specialized health care, specialized health care provided by private practices or outside the region and psychiatric specialized health care. The data was age-standardized.

This Master Thesis is a product development project that has been carried out in cooperation with Scania CV AB. The purpose has been to find the relationship between geometric parameters and the swirl number for an XPI- cylinder head in order to improve the design specification.The increased focus on environmental issues from society leads to tighter emission legislations for the truck manufactures. In order to drive the development forward considerable resources are spent on research and development on diesel engines and its combustion process. The inlet air has a significant impact on the formation of emissions and the flow that is desired is called swirl. Swirl is achieved by making the air rotate around the vertical axis of the cylinder.Earlier cylinder heads that has been developed at Scania CV AB have shown clear relationships between geometric parameters of the cylinder head and the swirl number.

An increasing number of health problems in the population and an uneven distribution of health between different groups in the society, have been identified as a problems and has therefore been put on the political agenda in Sweden. Thus, the purpose of this thesis is to estimate and discuss the significance an individual?s behaviour, in a number of areas, has on his/her level of health.The empirical material for this thesis is taken from a nationwide inquiry conducted in 2004,which was called ?Hälsa på lika villkor?? (Health on equal terms?) The material used consists of the answers and records from individuals living in the administrative district of Kronoberg. 9972 individuals were included in the sample and the answering frequency was 63,2%. To map and analyse the material, which was done mainly through crosstabs, chi-square tests and logistic regressions, the statistics software SPSS 11.5 was used.The parameter used to measure the health level is the individual?s own perception of his or her general health.
