Redan 2008 satte EU upp klimatmål om att minska utsläppen och spara energi.Minska utsläppen av växthusgaser med 20 procent jämfört med 1990.Den totala energiförbrukningen ska minska med 20 procent jämfört med denprognostiserade trenden.20 procent av den totala energiförbrukningen ska komma från förnyelsebara energikällor.Genom att då tillämpa en miljöcertifiering på byggnader är detta ett steg på vägen för att uppnå desatta målen. Med miljöcertifiering menas att byggnaden betygsätts med hänsyn till uppnåddmiljöpåverkan utifrån en tredjepartsgranskning. Utifrån ett certifieringssystem får en byggnad ettcertifikat som visar dess miljöprestanda.Det här examensarbetet har som syfte att ta fram ett förslag på miljöcertifieringssystem åtByggbolaget i Värmland med riktlinjer att det skall vara så enkelt och kostnadseffektivt sommöjligt, för att sedan tillämpa detta på Etapp 3 på Bryggudden i Karlstad. Detta med anledning avatt Byggbolaget i Värmland ser ett ökat behov på marknaden utav dessa kunskaper. Decertifieringssystem som ingår i urvalet är, EU GreenBuilding, Leed, Miljöbyggnad och Breeam SE.Utifrån litteraturstudien kunde slutsatsen dras att det certifieringssystem som var lämpligast atttillämpa på Etapp 3 på Bryggudden i Karlstad var Miljöbyggnad.

Mobile Arts have a technical platform for handling maps and community-featured Points of Interest in cellular phones, where the users themselves can share locations with other users either in groups or public. Development of the platform regarding network communication has been included in this paper. The work evaluates different feasible business models regarding packaging the platform as a commercial application and also faces issues users have when using the product. Even if users found maps and POI interesting and cool in cellulars, the technical difficulties and lack of product focus during beta testing, were present. Therefore, the writers recommendation is more development of the platform and using a business model where Mobile Arts deliver to existing communities.

The aim of this study is to examine the factors that motivate people to seek employment at a start-up company. We have conducted a qualitative study by interviewing ten people at six different start-up companies in Stockholm. Empirical findings show that the interviewed are mainly motivated by the possibility to work with challenging work tasks and the possibility to influence and acquire responsibility. Furthermore, status and other self-fulfilment factors such as building something from scratch that can create value and the possibility for a potential ownership is also contributing to the interviewed motivation to seek employment at a start-up. Factors such as an attractive labour market and a possibility to take a temporary break from the university, have contributed to the overall low risk perception of working at a start-up company.

Since the beginning of the internet the criminal world has used the medium as a platform for operation.This dark web is a domain where illegal sites are flourishing due to the possibilities offered by newtechnology. Net-based criminal activity is a challenge for society as it uses hard proof technologicalsafety measures to avoid the law. Silk Road is the most prominent example, an online illicitmarketplace where drugs and illegal substances are being traded based on conventional e-commerceconcepts. This paper argues for trust as an important factor for the survival of illicit online trade andapplies existing theories on e-commerce and virtual communities. To identify patterns of trust andcommon trust-based issues among Silk Road users, a netnographic study was conducted on the site?sdiscussion forum.

Sammanlagt har fyra intervjuer genomförts med personer bosatta på Victoria Park. En observation av området är också utförd.

This study means to research the importance and significance of the social and informal learning opportunities offered at a workplace. With Wenger?s theory about social learning and communities of practice as a starting point, this study will create understanding about how teachers at a school comprehend their opportunities for learning within the teacher community. The study is conducted at an independent school in Sweden, and is based on interviews with eight of the teachers employed at the school. The purpose of the study was to research how employees perceive how their social interactions with their colleagues can create learning, and what obstacles they might face along the way.

This thesis makes an effort to investigate and illuminate some of the problem the cities has to solve related to flooding, hazards, erosions, rising sea levels and crotches. This thesis will help to find solutions that international and national efforts has produced and handed out to each other. A lot of communities are charing their excellent tools that works for them.

The aim of this study is to examine the attitude among teachers towards working in subjectspecific groups, so called professional learning communities. The questions being asked arewhat the teachers want to acquire from working in them and how they consider them to beorganised.Previous research show that professional learning communities are means of strengtheningteachers and their teaching from criticism from outside stakeholders such as local politicians,but also parents. They are also means of developing the teaching and the individualteachers at schools.A qualitative study has been made at a Swedish secondary school and is reported in thisstudy. It was done in a hermeneutic discourse and when analysing the results four categoriesof answers appeared. It showed that the teachers working in professional learning communitieswanted to acquire a qualitative discussion regarding what should be taught and in whatway that should be assessed.

For a long time economic tax equalization system in Sweden has been creating dispute between Swedish communities. Despite the main purpose of the system - to reduce disparities and create equal economic opportunities for all communities ? some regions were not satisfied.The main purpose of this study is to determine what extant has equalization tax on investment spending of Danderyd municipality during 2000-2010 year period. The study is based on annual reports and personal interviews. The theoretical frame of the investigation is founded on Fjertorp's classification of investments and public choice theory.The investigation shows that there were no significant changes neither in investment spending or equalization tax during 2000-2010 period, even after the last changes of economic tax equalizations system in 2005.

Hållbar utveckling är ett brett begrepp som inkluderar miljömässiga, sociala och ekonomiska aspekter som kan appliceras inom många områden. Hållbar stadsutveckling är ett av dessa komplexa områden. Att mäta hållbarhet är en svår uppgift och på senare tid har certifieringssystem för enskilda byggnader börjat användas i Sverige för att på ett greppbart sätt kunna arbeta med hållbarhet. Forskare anser dock att skalan måste öka från enskilda byggnader till hela stadsdelar, för att certifieringssystemen ska nå sin fulla potential. Det finns i dagsläget ett antal certifieringssystem för hela stadsdelar utvecklade i andra länder, men dock inget system anpassat efter svenska normer och regler.

Our aim with this study has been to show the central factors that we consider have had animpact on public libraries in the "information society". We have studied two communities in the south of Sweden, Ronneby and Sölvesborg. These two communities have both started a development to the IT society, a society where information plays a great role, where the technique is the tool that supplies information.Ronneby community had early the aim to be the chief Swedish information center. A priority on information technology has therefore been obvious for them. Sölvesborg community has had another method and time schedule towards the IT society.We have been studying the documentation of aim and the strategy for IT development in different levels.

This study was carried out at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Dept. of Agricultural Research for Northern Sweden. The aim of the study was to determine how plant species richness and diversity influence the nitrogen pools and nitrogen fluxes in the soil. Plant and soil samples from a biodiversity experiment in grasslands were used. Thirty plots with 12 grassland plant species (legumes, grasses, and non-legume herbs), combined from 1-12 species were investigated.
