SAMMANDRAGLerums kommun har en vision om att bli Sveriges ledande miljökommun till år 2025 eller tidigare. En stor del av arbetet, som kännetecknas av hållbarhet, kreativitet och inflytande, sker i Gråbo. Det är idag en ort som känns bortglömd och är lätt att passera utan vetskap om dess placering. Samhället har såväl synliga baksidor som är i behov av förbättring och förnyelse, som outnyttjade tillgångar som bör lyftas fram.Syftet med föreliggande arbete är att ta fram förslag på hur Gråbo kan förbättras både med avseende på hållbar samhällsutveckling samt estetiska och funktionsmässiga förbättringar av samhället.Arbetet påbörjades med en faktainsamling, som sedan låg till grund för en inventering på plats i Gråbo. Detta sammanställdes till en analys där tillgångar och problem presenterades med hjälp av Adobe Illustrator till flera kartor.

Nya filmer som skapas innehåller mer och mer datorgenererade bilder och många filmer skapas även helt den digitala vägen, detta innebär att det krävs en rad olika dyra licenser för program och verktyg för att kunna skapa bra filmer.Genom ett projekt där en kortfilm skapas helt i 3D med en så låg budget som möjligt och som dessutom ska använda sig av Motion Capture som animerings-teknik så krävs det ett bra alternativ till att tillverka ett eget Motion Capture system för att så lite pengar som möjligt ska spenderas. Genom använding av Playstation kameror och lånade material kan ett billigt Motion Capture system tillverkas, samtidigt som kostnaden för kortfilmen hålls så låg som möjligt. Hur många timmar som lagts ned på modellering av objekt till filmen kan jämföras med ett uppskattat pris för anställning av professionell hjälp och dessutom se om detta verkligen är ett lönsamt alternativ istället för att skapa sina egna modeller till filmen. .

Concept - detail - buildingStockholm International Fairs, new main entrance I studied at the KTH School of Architecture from 1995 to 2000. After completing my studies I wanted to work in an office that had a structural way of thinking and that knew the building process; I therefore chose to work for Rosenberg Architects. I have worked on a number of projects, among them several for the Stockholm International Fairs, from the Rica Talk Hotel and Hall AE, to the new main entrance.In the projects we undertook at the School of Architecture we had to identify and draw details that were central to our concepts. I have here identified some key details that we considered to be essential for the concept in a built project; the new main entrance of the Stockholm International Fairs completed in 2013. The entrance has complex logistics with multiple intersecting flows: exhibitors, employees, journalists, VIPs and others.

Today many buildings and it´s nearby surroundings are designed to achieve some kind of environmental goal.The issue concerning energy consumption is currently at focus and it is relevant that we start increase the share of renewable energy. Solar energy is an infinite resource and should therefore be considered when selecting an energy supplier. Uppsala University hospital is facing major restructuring when parts of the existing buildings will be refurbished and a large new building will be constructed. White Architects have developed a study concerning the new building and for some of the existing buildings on the hospital campus. Uppsala County requires tough energy measures and wants the new building to be classified as an eco-building in Whites following work. The classifications will involve high energy source requirements. This work has been conducted to see if solar power can be envisaged as a supplementary energy source for the University hospital and also to investigate the aesthetic impact of solar cells on the new building.

Today the building companies do not have time enough to investigate which architecture qualities their clientele ask for in their apartments. JM AB use to call their apartments ?generous city apartments?. But do these apartments fulfill the needs of their dwellers? In my project, Cups on the run, I have studied the relationship between ceramic utility objects and different environments, when moving them off the table. My background as a potter has been the starting point. From there, I wanted to see if I could expand my craft to the space beyond. With the cup, which for most people has a clear function and a relation to us human, in repetitive structure I explored the spatiality and architecture in various environments. Life fascinates me through how everything is made up of tiny parts that together create the tangible and intangible.

During the past years Building Information Modelling (BIM), which is a digital way to work, has begun to spread amongst the parts of the construction process. At the construction phase the larger companies has started using the new way to work. This expansion has not been developed amongst smaller companies leading to the purpose of this report, to investigate in which ways the smaller companies can implement BIM by changing their way to work. The thesis is delimited to work preperations with the objective to define how the work preperations should be structured to enable the implementation of BIM. To achieve the objective of the report, information about the subject has been collected by interviews and literature studies.

Klimatfrågan har ökat intresset för förnyelsebar energi inom både elproduktions- och transportsektorn. Från elproduktionens sida är vindkraft den teknik som växer snabbast. När vindkraft inkluderas i elkraftsystemet medför det att intermittens uppstår på elproduktionssidan. För transportsektorn har det diskuterats mycket kring elektrifiering av personbilen, som skulle kunna bli både ett miljövänligt (om elproduktionen kommer från förnyelsebar energi) alternativ till dagens konventionella bilar och ett sätt att reglera elproduktionen då en stor andel vindkraftsturbiner adderas till elproduktionssystemet. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka och analysera påverkan på den elektriska lastprofilen på grund av plug-in hybrid elektriska fordon (PHEVs) och effekten av en sådan förändrad last på produktionen i ett elsystem bestående av termiska anläggningar och vindanläggningar.

Syftet med denna studie var att se på alternativa metoder för inlärning av ismer inom arkitektur. The title of the final thesis is Filmic landscapes ? film as representation, tool and practice in landscape architecture. The aim of the final thesis is to investigate how film as a medium can be used to describe, interpret and manipulate the understanding of a place and its design. What kind of aspects of landscape architecture can film as a medium in a design-process emphasize or create? How can filming, as a self-standing act, contribute to the understanding of the landscape and a landscape-related design-process? The thesis is divided into two parts, one theoretical part that consists of an essay, and one practical part that consists of a 11minute long filmic reflection of the ?Glass-houses?in Kosta, Sweden, created by the Swedish designer and architect Bruno Mathsson.
