Impression of reality deals with the subject of wearing a mask. It is an exploration of the idea that we are all playing different roles, on a stage in front of an audience. The aim was to work conceptually with text, photo and video as a way of exploring a subject. The goal was to create and edit the material so it would be interesting for the visitor at the graduation exhibition. The content was created through experiments based on questions such as the following examples; What is a mask? How can content control form? What is originality? The process resulted in a publication and a video installation with the ambition of highlighting the idea of the world as a theatrical construction.

Resultaten av vår undersökning visar på att vi generellt sett inte kan säga om individuella investerare agerar enligt regret theory eller inte. En del resultat tyder dock på att vissa effekter inom teorin är applicerbar på individuella investerare. Vi kan urskilja trender som tyder på att individen beter sig på ett visst sett och resonerat kring varför han beter sig så. Individen föredrar alltid det säkra alternativet om förluster eller stora vinster står på spel. Om skillnaden i säkerhet är väldigt liten försummar han den.

Humans have always been fascinated by the thought of bringing non living objects to life. We wanted to explore the possibilities of trying to create an artefact that the audience would consider possess emotional states and have a life of its own. TaS is a interactive chair that functions as a social entity. The idea is to try and enhance the bond between human and artefact, based upon the emotional connection. We try and produce, enhance and maintain this bond through curiosity based interaction. SammanfattningDetta är en studie om samarbetet mellan pedagoger och föräldrar i en sydafrikansk förskola. Jag intevjuade två pedagoger och två föräldrar om föräldrars roll i förskolan och hur mycket inflytande de har i verksamheten. Resultatet visar att föräldrarna har delade meningar om deras inflytande i förskolan. Pedagogerna vill att föräldrarna intar vissa roller i förskolan som att samla in pengar till olika utflykter, men är nöjda över att de själva tillsammans med rektor bestämmer hur planering och verksamhet ser ut. Kommunikationen mellan föräldrarna och förskolans personal sker framför allt genom månatliga möten och vid den dagliga lämningen och hämtningen..

The aim of this project was to design a furniture that raises thoughts and curiosity about how to relate to people you share furniture with. Luova, a changing piece of furniture for public spaces is a bench where the user can choose the degree of social interaction. Furniture for public spaces has a diverse audience ranging from children to adults. Some come alone, others in group. Some are sitting down for a short time while others stay for longer.

After the 9/11 attack the United States declared war against terrorism, which launched a conflict between indefinable transnational networks and states. In this war it became clear that the strategies used in traditional wars between states were not sufficient. New strategies have been discussed, but without any concrete results.In this thesis assassinations of terrorist leaders ordered by states is being presented as a possible strategy in the war against terrorism. Assassinations have been used in all times to shift political power but is today not morally accepted. This thesis aims to show that when used under the premisses of the just war theory, the strategy can be equally morally justified as any traditional war.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka om Adaptive Leadership Theory kunde användas för att få en förståelse för varför kommunikationsproblem återkommer. Frågeställningen var; Kan det undersökta företagets återkommande kommunikationsproblem förklaras, utifrån Heifetz? (1994) teori, med att medarbetarna har identifierat och hanterat dem felaktigt? The study will analyze organizations' crisis prevention efforts, its views on the crisis of accountability in relation to stakeholders and to work for a crisis to be elucidated. This paper is intending to examine the intercultural aspects of two teaching aids used in Swedish schools today. How does the material take the students prerequisite in consideration? Is every student included in the material in order with the standpoint and laws in the Swedish school system? And if they are not, who is the outsider in this occasion? This bachelor thesis aims to analyse archaeological finds related to mead during the Late Iron Age in southern Scandinavia. Five central places from the Iron Age are compared to five historical texts, that in some way connects to either the central places or to the use of mead. This will be done by using action theory. The action theory focuses on what kind of actions humans have done to create social and cultural purposes. Since the last part of the Late Iron Age, the Viking Age, is getting more popular due to movies, games and tv-shows it is also relevant to study how modern-day mead represents the Viking Age through its marketing.

Tio deltagare fick lyssna på två musikaliska verk varefter de, fritt formulerande, fick besvara frågor avseende de två verken. Upphovsmannen till verken intervjuades för att få fram intentionerna bakom verken och även bakgrunden till dem. Syftet var att, i en fallstudie, undersöka relationen mellan musikintention och musikreception. De huvudsakliga resultaten var att huruvida låtskrivaren/musikerns intentioner gick fram till åhöraren berodde på flertalet variabler. Vad gällde en låts handling var lättillgängligheten betydande.

Men?s magazines is a form of media that has been present and popular among men for decades and even centuries. In the beginning of 1990 the popularity for men?s magazines boosted as the new ideal man was presented. The new lad represented a new masculinity that was more honest about its ideals and point of views.

The purpose of this study has been to examine and analyze school counselors? experience of collaboration with other professions in the student health team and the preconditions for their work. The study is based on qualitative semi-structured interviews with six elementary-, and two high school student counselors in a medium-sized town in Sweden. The theoretical approach being used is: role theory, theory of professions and theory about collaboration. The study´s result shows that the school counselors? experience an unclarity in their job assignments and their role is often described as diffuse and vauge.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine the profession of librarianship by studying tasks in Swedish public libraries. The method is a textual analysis of articles inspired by the critical discourse analysis of Norman Fairclough. The theory applied consists of the profession theory of Andrew Abbott and the gender theory of Yvonne Hirdman. The questions raised are: how do librarians speak about their tasks, which discourses can be constructed and how can profession theory and gender theory explain the result.
