This bachelor thesis investigates the discourses on violence among pupils in a school environment. The overall aim is to gain knowledge on how it is researched, interpreted and understood. The methods employed are genealogical analysis, discourse analysis and intersectional analysis. The analyzed texts consist of research reports, articles, dissertations and government authority guidelines. The theoretical framework drawn upon is post modernistic theory, social constructivism and intersectional theory.

The aim of this study is to examine the language, used in parts of The day care report of 1968 (?1968 års Barnstugeutredning?). The day care report of 1968 was a public investigation appointed by the cabinet intended to prepare new policies on the part of the Swedish state.  I focus on the change, which can be assumed to have occurred, when replacing the names ?day care? (?dagis/daghem?) and ?kindergarten? (?lekskola?) with the name ?preschool? (?förskola?).

This essay focuses on Finnish immigrants living in Sweden and their experiences of educationof literature in Swedish upper secondary school. It concerns the fact of how education ofliterature can be used to strengthen students? formation of cultural identity. The essay tries toidentify obstacles as well as possibilities in the teaching of literature with a view to deepenand enrich this process. The method consists of a phenomenological approach includinginterviews with a group of Finnish immigrants living in Sweden.

AbstractThe aim of the study was to examine the relation between estimated fluidintake and real fluidintake among dialysis patients. The data were collected through study specific questionnaire and data from the medical record. Patients attached to eleven Swedish dialysis units were asked to participate. The number of patients that fulfilled the inclusion criteria were 222 persons of whom145 (65%) chose to participate in the study. The dialysis patients estimated their fluid intake for a day in average 9,06 deciliter.

BAKGRUND: Bemanningsbranschen har sedan arbetsförmedlingens monopol upphörde vuxit mycket. Det har blivit allt vanligare att hyra in personal vid exempelvis ökad arbetsbelastning. Bemanningsföretag kan vara en framtida arbetsgivare för oss och ett intresse för branschen har uppkommit och många frågor har väckts.SYFTE: Syftet med uppsatsen är att ur ett sociologiskt perspektiv belysa relationen mellan bemanningsföretag och kundföretag.FRÅGESTÄLLNINGAR: Hur kommer det sig att kundföretag väljer att anlita kategorin studenter/akademiker och vilka fördelar ser de med detta angreppssätt?Hur skapas en fungerande relation mellan bemanningsföretag och kundföretag?Vilken betydelse har en fungerande relation för att uppnå matchning mellan arbetstagare och uppdrag och hur bibehålls denna relation?METOD: Vi har använt oss av kvalitativ metod och vi har genomfört två intervjuer på ett bemanningsföretag och därefter intervjuer med fem av deras kundföretag.HUVUDRESULTAT: Vi har i vår studie kommit fram till att kundföretagen ser flera fördelar med att arbeta med kategorin studenter/akademiker. De betraktas som kompetenta, flexibla, ambitiösa och ?arbetshungriga? och det tilltalar kunderna.

The aftermath of colonization, culture diversity and the recognition of the ownidentity - living in a country which has the role of a former colonizer has got consequences in the multicultural French society. These consequences can be seen studying the politics, the education and the history of that country. In this bachelorthesis I discuss the aftermath of French colonization with a focus on how the French cultural identity can be explained in defining colonialism in French lawmaking. The aim is to understand the definition of the own cultural identity from a postcolonial perspective and what meaning the multicultural society has for this definition. This is an issue which can be seen in politics as well as ineveryday life, and to make an understanding of it, I study how French politicians are representing their country's role as a former colonizer in a postcolonial era.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to explain what possibilities the new license between Youtube and Stim can have for Swedish artists and what impact this may have for the Swedish major record labels? competitive advantage. Based on this, the aim is also to describe how artists' position of power against major record labels may change due to the license.Method The essay is based on an inductive approach. The authors have used a qualitative research method to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomenon investigated. Primary sources have been collected using a variety of interviews from different parts of the Swedish music industry.Conclusion The Swedish major labels still hold a strong position today both when it comes to power balance and attractiveness.

Ofta blir den demensdrabbade tvungen att flytta till ett boende. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa vad som bidrar till en god relation mellan anhöriga till och vårdare av demensdrabbade, som bor på boende. Metod: En litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats gjordes.

De instrument som används för att mäta patienters förväntningar av omvårdnaden finns i olika utformanden men det är få som är utvecklade med inverkan från patienternas egna förväntningar. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva patienters förväntningar av mötet med sjuksköterskan. Sju vetenskapliga studier analyserades med en manifest kvalitativ innehållsanalys och resulterade i tre kategorier: Att få en bra relation, Att kunna vara delaktig, Att vilja bli sedd och lyssnad på. Resultatet visade att patienter förväntade sig att etablera en god relation till sjuksköterskan där medbestämmande i den egna omvårdnaden var av stor vikt. Resultatet visade också att patienter ville bli sedda som individer och att sjuksköterskan tog sig tid för att lyssna på dem.

Bakgrund: Få ett prematurt barn kan vara en oförutsedd händelse. Den första kontakten mellan föräldrar och barn var ett viktigt moment för barnets utveckling. När prematura barn kommer till neonatalavdelningen och läggs i en kuvös kan kontakt och närhet mellan barn och föräldrar störas. Syfte: Belysa föräldrars upplevelser av närhet i relation till sitt prematura barn. Metod: En litteraturstudie på artiklarna som är genomförda med kvalitativ ansats.

With 25 countries being members of the European Union, travelling and working in other countries has become significantly easier. But what happens when one culture meets another one in a work situation? More specifically, what happens when French and Swedish cultures meet? Would a Swedish manager lead his team in the same way as a French one would?My question is: What is management philosophy like in Sweden and France? Do the two philosophies resemble? And if not, in what ways do they differ?The purpose of this essay is to find out, by looking at the material used at management courses, what the Swedish management philosophy really is. And then look at whether there are any similarities between this philosophy and the French one. The idea is to examine how management is being taught in both countries, by looking at what management litterature is used at some of the highest ranked management schools in Sweden and France.There have been numerous ethnological studies concerning nationality and cultural behaviour, one of the most important ones is the study done by Hofstede.

The purpose with the work is to study Fortums activities with hydro power plants, dams and reservoirs mainly in a premise jurisdictional perspective and to show how GIS would be a helpful tool for the future.A great deal of the information that the Generation Hydro-division at Fortum are managing have a spatial element. That means that it is possible to spatially join this information to a geographical polygon, line or point. This information is today gathered from several different sources, such as files, paper maps and digital data of several kinds. A Geographic Information System (GIS), as and aid besides the ordinary tools should be an effective support in the everyday work with questions of a premise jurisdictional nature.The goal of this work is to account for how to organize, present and analyse geographic information. We will show how to link from the map to traditional tools such as calculation- and register programs.

Idrottskulturen präglas av en tydlig könsordning. Detta gör sig gällande då idrotter anses vara kvinno- eller mansidrotter. Att en idrott anses vara en kvinno- eller mansidrott tenderar att betyda att det är ett kön som är i majoritet av de som utövar.  Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka hur tjejer påverkas av att de utövar en sport som domineras av tjejer respektive killar. Uppsatsen utgörs av en litteraturstudie.
