Vår studie om utanförskap lyfter problematiken kring utanförskap bland elever i fritidshem. Studien visar hur vanligt förekommande utanförskap är bland elever i fyra olika fritidshem i en mindre kommun i Småland. Vad som uppmärksammas i studien är huruvida fritidspedagogerna är medvetna kring utanförskapet, både det frivilliga och ofrivilliga, samt ifall fritidspedagoger möjligen kan arbeta utifrån ett deliberativ demokratiskt synsätt för att försöka motverka utanförskap. Deliberativ demokrati innebär att man låter eleverna vara delaktiga och få inflytande i gemenskapen samt verksamheten, genom samtal, argumentation och diskusson. Vi har valt att intervjua åtta fritidspedagoger samt gjort observationer i barngrupper i fyra olika fritidshem i kommunen för att försöka få fram ett resultat.

This study has been carried out in cooperation with Unilever and partly with the EC founded project, Smartdoc IST-2000-28137. In areas of statistics and image processing, both the amount of data and the dimensions are increasing rapidly and an interactive visualization tool that lets the user perform real-time analysis can save valuable time. Real-time cropping and drill-down considerably facilitate the analysis process and yield more accurate decisions. In the Smartdoc project, there has been a request for a component used for smart filtering in multidimensional data sets. As the Smartdoc project aims to develop smart, interactive components to be used on low-end systems, the implementation of the self-organizing map algorithm proposes which dimensions to visualize.

Abstract I have made a Website called ?Art school? for Liljevalchs art Gallery, Culture administration in Stockholm and Culture school in Stockholm. It is with scholarship from these that this Website has been possible. The work whit the ?Art school? started in the autumn of 2005 and ended in May 2006 on distance from Stockholm towards Blekinge technology school in Karlshamn. The Webb place is for the general public, but most for people who have interest in art and for those how want to learn more painting in different mediums. On each one of these mediums you?ll get to know about their history, what technique they have, what sort of material you need, practise and tip.

SUMMARYPrevious research has shown that there is a connection between the doorways and postoperative wound infections. Despite recommendations from Socialstyrelsen and the individual hospitals' PM there is still high traffic in the operating theatres. In a hybrid theatre environment combined X-ray techniques of surgery, resulting in it being further two categories inside the operating theatre. This may generate an increase in traffic flow. The study is a prospective, non-participant observation study conducted in the spring of 2013 at a university hospital in western Sweden.

Studies conducted on event marketing have mainly focused on larger events. Managerial implications, marketing techniques, and theories in the field have hence dominantly addressed events of larger nature. Event marketing however is a growing phenomenon in the marketing mix. Brands are using event marketing to a greater extent. Brands are increasingly using small events as a marketing tool in order to create brand awareness and brand image; this goes for both small brands and large brands.

Studies of modern communication media such as Cell Phones and so called Instant Messengers are popular today. This study focused on these modern techniques, focused on parents as a target group and on what is important for them in everyday communication.By exploratory using three focus groups it became clear that the children, and the link to them was the absolute most important thing for the parents. It became clear that this link to a great extent today exists through the mobile phone.In a following study a Mobile Instant Messenger called My Friends was introduced. It was used by two families during two weeks to see how it would change the communication within the family. The focus was to see how problems with availability were handled, it turned out that:My friends had a more obvious way of indicating availability than the Cell Phone had.

The purpose of this study was to show how two schools from a municipality in greater Stockholm work with a document called "likabehandlingsplan", literally ?plan for equal treatment?. This document is required by law in Swedish schools and a part of each municipality?s program. The goal of the study was to see how teachers and school principals view and work with the plan as a part of their work in preventing discrimination and offensive behavior, in particular in dealing with problems with bullying. The two schools? plans were compared for similarities and differences and how they chose to follow the municipality?s guidelines was examined.

In the project, my ambition was to make a stage design for theater withteenagers as target group. I have worked with the musical theater groupTheater ACTA in Gothenburg and independently from scripts, interpretedand shaped an outline for the basis of the set design of the play?s differentelements. The play, If this was a feel-good movie, is written by Elin Frostand Anna Lundholm, two members of Theater ACTA. The story is aboutthree people in their twenties with different relationships to each other andone week that would change their lives.

Today, the requirements on doors and door sections in buildings are often many andtightly restricted. Especially in public buildings, the requirements for safety andfunctionality must cover the needs of larger groups of people. These strictrequirements have often led to doors and door sections in public buildings being verycomplex and difficult to correctly install without any complications.This diploma work has been carried out in cooperation with Werket Architects,which estimates a high percentage of flaws regarding aforementioned components, inprojects of the type described. The company therefore wanted to investigate howthey could develop their remit in door production, which is the projection and designof blueprints. By taking part of installers opinions on how they want the blueprints ofdoors and door - sections to be designed for the best installation possibilities,develop¬ment areas, and to some extent improvements regarding the company's useof accounting techniques, could be provided to the company.The study shows, among other things, that there is a possibility of development in thefunctional descriptions that entail the doors' fitting components.

I den här statsvetenskapliga uppsatsen studeras Europeiska Unionens (EU), en organisation med både över- och mellanstatlighet, folkrättsliga hänsynstagande gällande erkännandefrågor om nybildade stater. Syftet är att undersöka i vilken utsträckning EU:s utrikespolitiska beslutsfattare visar folkrättsliga hänsyn i officiella uttalanden genom två förklaringsmodeller, realismen respektive idealismen. Syftet är även att pröva Ann-Marie Ekengrens analysschema, som är konstruerad att förklara staters agerande, på en hybrid organisation som EU. Materialet i studien baseras på primära källor, såsom EU:s officiella hemsida och sekundära källor, såsom nyhetsartiklar som analyserar händelseförloppet och motiven bakom dem. Detta har genomförts med hjälp av en argumentationsanalys och Ekengrens analysschema för att kunna kategorisera argumenten i ett realistiskt eller idealistiskt förklaringssätt.Utredningen påvisar realistiska och idealistiska särdrag i EU:s offentliga argumentation gällande Krims folkrättsliga och statsrättsliga kriterier.

Hyperthyroidism and chronic kidney failure (CKD) are common diseases in older cats. It can be difficult to evaluate kidney function in cats suffering from both conditions simultaneously. In the daily clinic serum creatinine is the analysis of choice when evaluating kidney function and secondary glomerular filtration rate (GFR). This marker does not, however, detect kidney damage until about 75 % of the function is lost. There are several other techniques available when investigating GFR but none are readily available for the small clinic.
