Objective: The objective of this thesis is to investigate how Scania has attained success to establish on the Indian market and to inquire into the establishment process of Scania and their entrance in the Indian market. The thesis describes different factors such as the product, mode of entry, time of entry and choice of market that play a role when a company establishes and invest in a foreign market.Method: This thesis is limited to the process of establishing Scania on the Indian truck market. A qualitative approach has being utilized in this study, consisting of interviews withStaffan Sjöström, development manager at the R&D department, Koen Knoops, vice president at Financial Services and Henrik Fagrenius, former managing director for Scania in India. Data collection from various journals and articles have been conducted for the presentation of the number of sold newly registered trucks in comparison to the number of sold newly registered trucks in India by Volvo, Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland during 2010, 2011, 2012 and the first three quarters of 2013.Theory: With a starting-point in empirism, we have used a theoretical frame of reference to describe Scania´s establishment process. Scania makes use of an internationalization strategy, namely Market Selection, Time of Entry and Entry mode and the network model, which describes the process of establishing on a foreign market as a business Association with various players on the market.

The purpose of this essay is to examine wage-earners' investment funds from the ideological point of view. Were they in any way an integrated part of social democratical democratic socialism and reformism? I emphasize Olof Palme´s ideological idea of democratic socialism and reformism, and how he handled the issue. How did the question of these funds correspondent with the basic ideological points of view, and what was the standpoint of Palme in this issue.My method is built upon a deep study and analyses of SAP board of party and the standing committees protocol in the light of Olof Palme´s and SAP's ideology. I even use information from literature, inquiries and dissertations.

Farmers Cooperative has in recent years developed from national markets to cross-border, international, collaborations. One example is the merger between the Swedish dairy company Arla and Danish MD Foods, where the companies collectively are sought to reduce transaction costs and thus improve efficiency. The Swedish market for commodities (fertilizers and pesticides) in agriculture has for many years been dominated by a few large players, with little opportunity for grain Associations and local grain companies to offer their customers a varied range of commodities with a competitive pricing.To change this state, a majority of Swedish and Danish grain Associations and local grain companies have established a trans-national cooperation. Through the establishment of the organization DLA Agro, they offer their customers a good variety of products with competitive prices. This study investigates thus according to the theory of cooperative models to what extent and how the DLA Agro helps to create benefits for the Swedish member companies.

Palm oil has been used in processed food commodities since the 19th century. An increasing demand for regulating and ensuring a more sustainable palm oil production has resulted in various initiatives. However, these initiatives have received critique due to lack of compliance and insufficient revisions of palm oil plantations. The initiatives for creating an ethical, social and environmentally sustainable production are not sufficient for the Swedish industrial users of palm oil. As a result, stakeholders such as Swedish food processing companies, commit to ethical sourcing codes of conduct that go beyond the international palm oil initiatives.

Bakgrunden till denna uppsatts är att ett större projekt har inletts i samarbete mellan McDonalds Sverige, Sveriges nötköttsproducenter (SNP) och Lantbruksuniversitetet (SLU) i Alnarp. I projektet skall man undersöka hur det är möjligt att skapa en bättre och säkrare tillgång & lönsamhet genom hela kedjan för svenskt nötkött. I denna uppsats, som är en del av det större projektet, så kommer jag att inrikta mig på att undersöka och sammanställa information om hur förtroende skapas i en leverantörskedja för nötkött i Irland och undersöka vilka faktorer som styr belåtenheten i leverantörskedjan. I litteraturstudien kommer det att inledningsvis beskrivas hur Irlands nötköttsföretagande är uppbyggt, följt av ett kort stycke om McDonalds Irland och Bord Bias kvalitetssäkringssystem som används inom kedjan. Sedan följer en litteraturgenomgång om hur en leverantörskedja kan vara uppbyggd och fungera, hur relationer fungerar i leverantörskedjan, förhållandet mellan belåtenhet och förtroende i leverantörskedjan och en beskrivning av leverantörskedjan av nötkött. Studien grundar sig på kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra irländska nötköttsproducenter, två irländska slakterier och en nötköttsansvarig på IFA (Irish Farmers? Association).

Boberg at Scania CV AB. The purpose was to investigate the technical and customer oriented possibilities for the development of a transport security measure against cargo crime, which is a growing problem in Europe. The main goal was to develop a concept that is possible to implement in the Scania CV AB Fleet Management System. Another goal was to develop a security model that will be used as a tool during Scania CV AB?s future development projects of transport security concepts.The work was divided into three main parts: a background study, handling cargo crime, transport security Scania CV AB trucks and market analysis, a stakeholder investigation including a questionnaire and interviews, and a concept development session.

Aim and research questionsThe over-all aim of this study was to gain insight info how two male coaches of a specific soccer team behave in a practice environment with regards to educating the players.More specifically, the study sought to map the extent to which said behaviour matched two specific methods of learning; these being Teaching Games for Understanding (TgfU) and Enhanced Guided Discovery (EGD). Research questions: (1) Do the coaches employ the methods and guidelines, which are outlined in the educational plan provided by the soccer Association? If so, what form does this application take in practice? (2) To what extent and in what ways do the coaches utilize feedback and questioning techniques in the education of players? (3) What similarities and differences in behaviour can be identified between the chosen soccer team?s two coaches?Method: The data for the study was collected through field observation. The subjects were two youth elite soccer coaches and observation of these coaches took place during five regular practice sessions on the soccer field. All data gathering and analysis were carried out using a modified version of the Coach Analysis and Intervention System (CAIS).

Today most dosages used in horse medicine are based on studies in adult horses. Since there are differences between adult and neonatal horses with respect to different pharmacological parameters this can cause problems when administring drugs to neonatal foals. Neonatal sepsis is a common cause of morbidity and mortality in foals and aggressive antibiotic treatment is needed immediately when sepsis is suspected. In Sweden the combination of trimethoprim/sulphadiazine and bensylpenicillin is often used as the initial treatment. When administering drugs, interactions can occur between the drugs and endogenous substances.

C-reaktivt protein (CRP) är ett akutfasprotein som ökar snabbt och kraftigt vid inflammationstillstånd och vars nivå korrelerar väl med inflammationstillståndets omfattning och allvarlighetsgrad. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka förändring av CRP-koncentration i serum hos hund i samband med kirurgi, om Association kunde ses mellan vissa sorters operationer och vissa CRP-nivåer, samt om skillnad i CRP-nivå kunde ses mellan hundar med och utan postoperativa tecken på sjukdom som inte är att förvänta efter kirurgi. Avsikten är att hjälpa veterinärer vid bedömning om en operation orsakat en förväntad omfattning av vävnadsskada samt ifall en avvikande CRP-nivå kan användas som hjälp för att identifiera patienter med postoperativa komplikationer. Blodprover från totalt 58 hundar som genomgick olika sorters kirurgiska ingrepp analyserades med en immunoturbidometrisk metod. De flesta hundar med låg koncentration av CRP innan operation hade en ökad koncentration 24 timmar efter operation (n=44), men i två fall där hundarna genomgått kirurgi med liten vävnadstraumastorlek (artroskopi och orkiektomi) sågs ingen ökning i CRP-koncentration 24 timmar efter operation. Av hundarna som provtogs både 24 och 48 timmar efter operation hade fem hundar högst koncentration 24 timmar efter operation och fem hundar hade högst koncentration 48 timmar efter operation. Det vore av värde med ytterligare studier för att undersöka mer exakt hur lång tid efter ett kirurgiskt ingrepp man kan förvänta sig högst koncentration CRP. CRP-koncentrationerna 24 timmar efter operation, för hundarna som hade CRP-koncentrationer .

Internrevisioner är ett krav om företag och organisationer är certifierade enligt ISO 9001 eller ISO 14001. Främsta syftet med internrevisioner är enligt Wahlman (2004) att bekräfta att ledningssystemet och de arbetssätt som beskrivs i ledningssystemen ger den önskade effekten. Examensarbetets omfattning är att beskriva och jämföra de två olika metoderna för internrevisioner som finns inom kärnkraftsbranschen. Dessutom ges konkreta förbättringsförslag för de olika internrevisionsmetoderna. De två olika metoderna för internrevisioner har författaren studerat på fallföretaget Ringhals AB som är ett kärnkraftverk.

During the 20th century a significant proportion (about 15 %) of the peat-covered wetlands in Sweden were drained to improve forest productivity. Area wise, most of the forest drainage was done in northern Sweden, but relatively speaking a larger part of the wetlands have been drained in the southern parts of the country. Most often, the forest drainage resulted in increased forest growth, but failures were not unusual, and harmful effects, e.g. on species richness, have been a common cause for draining. Ditch cleaning is necessary for maintaining the ditches in good condition.

To the sewer systems households, industries and other activities are connected. The wastewater is collected at treatment plants where a nutritious sludge is produced. The sludge does not only contain nutrients, but also hazardous substances originating from different activities in society. To reduce the flow of hazardous substances to treatment plants and to create a sustainable recycling of plant nutrients the Swedish Water & Wastewater Association has developed the certificate system REVAQ. This certificate requires a good quality of the sludge but also that the treatment plants maps the origin of the unwanted substances.

Grafiska profiler har ofta liknande innehåll men ser självklart olika ut för olika verksamheter och varumärken. En cityförening är ett samarbete mellan flera olika aktörer som vill kommunicera med sina målgrupper och samtidigt förmedla det som föreningen tillsammans står för. Studiens syfte är att ta reda på vad som bör ingå i en grafisk profil för en cityförening och vilka speciella faktorer som finns vid framtagandet av cityföreningars grafiska profiler. För att påvisa möjligheterna till applicering i det som undersökts, används Mjölby City som exempelfall och studien ska generera riktlinjer för Mjölby Citys grafiska profil. För att svara på studiens frågeställningar har en kvalitativ metod används i form av kvalitativa intervjuer och en fokusgrupp i form av en workshop. Intervjuerna har legat till stor vikt vid undersökningen av de speciella faktorerna, då intervjuer har gjorts med företagsrepresentanter som har skapat eller bearbetat grafiska profiler för cityföreningar.

The inventory is based on material gathered from Sandviken Municipality archives and from Göransson Arenas' own archives. The archives consist of such things as board meeting protocols, annual reports, bookkeeping, drawings, photographs and more. The method is based on Foucault's discourse analysis, focusing on his archaeological period.Results & conclusion: The archives show how business ideas, theories, and expressions can be seen in the two arenas. The results show how the concepts of customer, company and Association are present in the design of the two arenas in different ways.
