It appears from today's debate about the quality of social work and addiction treatment that largely focuses on the impact of recent various interventions in the hope of being able to alter social work's role in society and also the organizational structure. Today's aspirations to establish an evidence-based practice can hardly be expected to solve the social services basic dilemmas is that it always have to do something, despite the many times you cannot get clear instructions on which funds should be used by law or science. This is a study on how a group of ten pupils choose their upper secondary schools (gymnasium). All pupils are ninth graders in a middle school in Husby which is a suburb of Stockholm. Like the big majority of Husby citizens, they all have immigrant backgrounds and their time in Sweden varies; some are born here while others are born abroad and migrated later with their parents. My aim was to understand their upper secondary school choices through own and their parents? "cultural capital".

Virtualization has increasingly been adopted in the last decade and the usages of virtualized environments are going to be an important part of how computers are used in the nearby future. There are a lot of advantages with virtualization and different methods have been developed to make it as efficient as possible.Forsmarks Kraftgrupp were interested in the possibility of taking advantage of virtualization in their testing environment.In this report, hypervisors of type 1 and type 2 and containers have been evaluated to determine which method and what program is preferable on a server cluster of four HP ProLiant DL380 Generation 4. Because of the hardware specifications of the DL380, focus has been on virtualization programs that do not require hardware assisted virtualization.The results show that it is possible to use some of the type 2 hypervisors on the HP ProLiant DL380 Generation 4. The suggested virtualization programs are VMware Workstation or Oracle VirtualBox. .

Bakgrund: Under senare år har allt fler kliniska träningscentra för färdighetsträningetablerats för att möjliggöra en trygg och säker lärandemiljö med simuleringsmöjligheter förstuderande och personal. Klinisk färdighetsträning är en viktig del i sjuksköterskeutbildningenvid Högskolan Dalarna (HDa) där lärandemiljön på Kompetenscentrum (KC) kan bidra till enförbättring av lärandemiljön i den kliniska färdighetsutbildningen.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka sjuksköterskestudenters upplevelser viaskattning av lärandemiljön för klinisk färdighetsutbildning före och efter inrättandet avKompetenscentrum.Metod: Studien genomfördes som en enkätundersökning med kvasiexperimentell design.Enkätens baserades på Saarikoski och Leino-Kilpis mätinstrument CLES där frågeställningarom lärandemiljön modifierades med hjälp av Delphimetoden utifrån de tre olikadimensionerna: utbildningsmiljö, relation och lärarens roll. Mätningen före inrättandetgenomfördes under hösten 2010 och mätningen efter inrättandet genomfördes hösten 2011.Totalt ingick 266 sjuksköterskestudenter i studien varav 198 (74 %) besvarade enkäten.Resultat: Sjuksköterskestudenter skattade upplevelsen av lärandemiljön mer positiv efterinrättandet av Kompetenscentrum där resultatet visar en signifikant högre skattning i 8 de avde 16 frågorna. Sjuksköterskestudenterna skattade att de upplever att utbildningsmiljön är merverklighetstrogen, de är mer nöjda med färdighetsträningen samt att den inspirerar dem till attarbeta som sjuksköterska. Att relationen mellan dem och läraren bygger på respekt och att detär en mer positiv atmosfären under färdighetsträningen.

The purpose with this essay was to study how the social work is shaped in the methadone programme and how the staffs treat and work with the social integration for the patients.We have studied the experience of a medical assisted treatment from two different treatment clinics and focused on their treatment programme. We have chosen to focus on the social aspect but we have also been taking part of the medical treatment - the methadone. In order to get a bigger picture of our problem area we also studied how Sweden's narcotic politic is constructed and how a narcotic life could look like before the entrance in the program. To get an optimal print result with rotogravure on improved newsprint, MF-paper, knowledge aboutwhat adjustment that should be done through the whole production is needed. This degree project investigatesthe reproduction?s effect on the final print result.A test print is done at Quebecor World Nordic Interprint´s regular print unit. The evaluation of theprint shows how important the use of a unit adjusted ICC-profile is for the print quality. The number of elderly in Sweden is increasing due to improved living conditions and better medical care. It is important that society adapts to the increase and begins to work preventively to reduce the costs of the increase. An important aspect is the elderly accommodation, the cost of health care in specific accommodation is almost twice as high as those for ordinary housing. Therefore, it is important that we availability adapt dwelling to allow older people to live in ordinary housing for as long as they wish, instead of moving to assisted living before they need it. If we can fulfil the elder?s needs with home care instead, society can save a lot of money.In this report, three different forms of housing has undergone accessibility increases and been inventoried and analysed.

At two nursing homes for people with dementia a qualitative study was performed. The purpose was to investigate the therapy dog?s meaning to people with dementia from their perspective.
