Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka hur musiklärare tolkar målen i kursplanen i musik och hur de applicerar dessa tolkningar på sin undervisning. Syftet är även att ta reda på hur musiklärare använder sig av läromedel för att nå dessa mål. Bakgrunden till ämnet är tankar som jag har haft angående musikundervisningen på grundskolans lägre stadier och huruvida denna undervisning är likvärdig över hela landet. Skulle det vara möjligt att ett läromedel i musik, skapat utifrån de nationella målen i kursplanen, åstadkommer en sådan likvärd utbildning? Mina forskningsfrågor syftar till att kartlägga användandet och behovet av läromedel i musik och dessutom till att förstå hur målen i kursplanen för musik kan tolkas av olika lärare.

Concept - detail - buildingStockholm International Fairs, new main entrance I studied at the KTH School of Architecture from 1995 to 2000. After completing my studies I wanted to work in an office that had a structural way of thinking and that knew the building process; I therefore chose to work for Rosenberg Architects. I have worked on a number of projects, among them several for the Stockholm International Fairs, from the Rica Talk Hotel and Hall AE, to the new main entrance.In the projects we undertook at the School of Architecture we had to identify and draw details that were central to our concepts. I have here identified some key details that we considered to be essential for the concept in a built project; the new main entrance of the Stockholm International Fairs completed in 2013. The entrance has complex logistics with multiple intersecting flows: exhibitors, employees, journalists, VIPs and others.

Humans have always been fascinated by the thought of bringing non living objects to life. We wanted to explore the possibilities of trying to create an artefact that the audience would consider possess emotional states and have a life of its own. TaS is a interactive chair that functions as a social entity. The idea is to try and enhance the bond between human and artefact, based upon the emotional connection. We try and produce, enhance and maintain this bond through curiosity based interaction. Uppsatsen utforskar legenden om den helige Antonius frestelse och det intryck helgonberättelsen lämnat på konsten. En ikonografisk metod används för att beskriva den litteratur som skapat och utvecklat berättelsen och ur detta systematiseras de motiv som sedan översatts till bildkonsten. Genom att analysera nio olika avbildningar av Antonius skapas en kronologisk följd över hur skildringarna genomgått en transformation sedan 1500-talet..

Interpret, concretize and set grades - Is it that simple? A study of similarities and differences in local grading criteria in music. The purpose of this study is to examine similarities and differences in local grading criteria in music at schools in a larger municipality in the south of Sweden. The research question is: How have schools interpreted national grading criteria locally and how do music teachers look upon the grading procedure? This study is based on an analysis of the grading criteria at ten schools.

This essay examines the relationships between the different elements in Lisa Jonasson?s collage Existentiell Progg #6 and her very detailed technique. The essay has as its aims to understand and analyze both the details and the wholeness of the artwork and to try to put the collage in an art historical context. The thesis finds that Existentiell Progg #6 has a connection to the imagery of Africa and other collage artist such as Hannah Höch and Nancy Spero, which also gives the paper a perspective of feminism in the arts. The paper continues to create an understanding for the collage work by putting it in to Theodor Adorno?s theories about nature, the human being and the animal kingdom.

Syftet med arbetet är att ta reda på hur trummisar kan lösa mentala blockeringar i sitt musikutövande. I mitt arbete vill jag belysa vikten av expressivt spel och vikten av mentala aspekter i musikutövandet. Det är viktigt att arbeta med mentala "övningar" precis som det är viktigt med praktiska övningar. Musiker värmer ofta upp fysiskt inför en spelning men hur många värmer upp mentalt? Mina forskningsfrågor är: - Hur kan man påverka trumsetselevers musikaliska utveckling med hjälp av expressiva och mentala övningar? - Vilken roll spelar mentala övningar och förberedelser för professionella trummisar? Jag har intervjuat två etablerade trummisar och trumsetslärare, en vid musikhögskolan i Malmö och den andra en verksam trummis i Stockholm och före detta lärare på Musikhögskolan i Malmö.

The collected data showed how art and advertising are linked to each other and also differ from each other, in particular through the latter half of the 1900?s. What was happening in society came to have great impact on what happened in art and advertising. In postwar Germany, capitalism realism evolved from the German pop art where the art was removed from the art gallery and placed on the streets where the people were, in an era that was characterized by a gap between the rich and the poor.

The title of the final thesis is Filmic landscapes ? film as representation, tool and practice in landscape architecture. The aim of the final thesis is to investigate how film as a medium can be used to describe, interpret and manipulate the understanding of a place and its design. What kind of aspects of landscape architecture can film as a medium in a design-process emphasize or create? How can filming, as a self-standing act, contribute to the understanding of the landscape and a landscape-related design-process? The thesis is divided into two parts, one theoretical part that consists of an essay, and one practical part that consists of a 11minute long filmic reflection of the ?Glass-houses?in Kosta, Sweden, created by the Swedish designer and architect Bruno Mathsson.

In my project, Cups on the run, I have studied the relationship between ceramic utility objects and different environments, when moving them off the table. My background as a potter has been the starting point. From there, I wanted to see if I could expand my craft to the space beyond. With the cup, which for most people has a clear function and a relation to us human, in repetitive structure I explored the spatiality and architecture in various environments. Life fascinates me through how everything is made up of tiny parts that together create the tangible and intangible.

Title: The development of Free BassIn this work I will explain how the accordion with free bass was developed in Sweden. I will also describe how the people, teachers and musicians, did respond when it was introduced. In this study I investigate Swedish freebass teachers' reflections upon their educational issues. I want to look deeper at how they are reflecting over these two systems, and how they are using them in their daily work. By reading some accordion magazines from the era as a method, I did researching and then I analyzed the articles written about the subject.

Det här examensarbetet behandlar Suzukipedagogiken och barns upplevelser av föräldrars aktiva stöd och engagemang när deras barn lär sig spela ett musikinstrument. Undervisningsmetoden bygger på interaktionen mellan elev, förälder och lärare, vilket utgör Suzukipedagogikens hörnstenar. För examensarbetets utförande valde jag ut fyra informanter, utifrån kriteriet att de skulle ha haft minst en förälder som utövar musik som amatör eller professionellt. Vidare skulle två informanter ha undervisats på ett sätt med anknytning till Suzukipedagogiken, och de andra två skulle ha undervistats inom ramen för traditionell instrumentalundervisning. Motiveringen till urvalet var att därmed kunna jämföra informanterna mot deras olika bakgrunder av undervisningsmetoder.

My thesis is an attempt to clarify the purpose and workings of art in relation to the artist, his/her fellows and society. Can art be considered as a uniting force? My interpretation of the political climate regarding the arts has resulted in an exploration of the question: What role does art have in society today?The artistic ego as an altruism ? within the title of this thesis lies an absolute paradox ? a paradox that through this paper is tested, reviewed and demonstrated as a way of describing art and its workings. Studien undersöker hur man på ett praktiskt sätt kan knyta samman musikteori-, gehörs- och ensembleundervisningen. Syftet är att undersöka möjligheten att i jazzsammanhang träna sitt gehör i grupp vid sina instrument. Jag har utvecklat tre gehörsövningar som undersöks i den här studien. Övningarna är konstruerade så att exempelvis pianisten skall övas i att höra basgångar, medan basisten övas i att höra ackordläggningar. En av ensembledeltagarna (piano, gitarr, sång, blås eller bas) styr övningen och väljer hur ackordföljden ska fortsätta genom att följa vissa regler (exempelvis upplöses dominanter alltid ren kvart upp/ren kvint ner).

This report describes the master thesis project ?Weight Optimization of a Composite Chassis for a Multimodal Lightweight Vehicle? which is a part of the Master program in Naval Architecture and a part of a research project at the Centre for Naval Architecture, KTH. Demands on smart and energy efficient transport solutions are continuously increasing. In the Stockholm region the citizens are expected to increase with 25% and the road vehicles with 80% until 2030, putting high demands on the traffic system. Using a small multimodal vehicle deals with this problem and uses both the land and waterways for transportation.
