Målet med studien är att genom ett transdiagnostiskt perspektivförklara hur stress i skolan leder fram till depressiva symptom. Ifokus är ungdomar i 13-15 års ålder där jag undersöker omungdomars upprepade negativa tankar verkar som mediatorer ellerkopplingar mellan stress (i skolan, samt i relationer med kamrateroch lärare i skolan) och depressiva symptom. För ändamåletanvänds data från en pågående studie vid Örebro Universitet omvälmående bland årskurs 7 och 8 elever och jag genomför entvärsnittsanalys. Medierinsanalyser visade att ungdomarsupprepade negativa tankar förklarar mycket av association mellanstress i skolan och depressiva symptom. Slutsatsen för denna studieär att för att påverka ungdomars depressiva symptom behöver viidentifiera de sätt som ungdomar ser på sig själva och sin omvärld..

The purpose of this study is to give an insight in how music press is presented gender wise. The focus area lies in rock music and the study is made on British music magazine MOJO in the year of 2010. The study contains quantitative analyses showing how much room men are given compared to women. The study is also supplemented with image analyses of four covers spread out over the year. The main question is formulated as in, how much room do women get in music magazine MOJO 2010 and what output does this have on rock music?s gender characteristics? The main results show, amongst other things that 79% of all the articles are written with focus on one or more male musicians.

This essay studies how and why large sports clubs from sports with a different degree of commerciality interact with their institutional surroundings in the way that they do. It compares two large Stockholm-based table tennis clubs, Ängby SK and Spårvägens BTK, with a large Stockholm-based football club, AIK Fotboll. In order to get proper data, a number of key persons within the organisations were exploratively interviewed using open and semi-structured questions, together with study of literature and other sources related to the subject. One of the key findings was that the non-profit table tennis clubs, who were expected to resemble the institution association closely, were subject to company-ization, and thus acted a lot more like the institution company than expected. The other key finding was that the football club, although driven partially like a public limited company, in many aspects placed a greater value on cultural capital than on economic capital..

Den här studien avser att öka förståelsen för hur privatliv och personligt relaterad information framställs i två kända personers bloggar. Studien baseras på två bloggar skrivna av offentliga, kända personer - Alex Schulman och Pernilla Wahlgren. Han är en känd medieentreprenör och skribent, hon är en folkkär artist och sångerska från en teaterfamilj. Dessa bloggare är redan kända av allmänheten, något som gör att gränsen för vad som är privat och offentlig information blir väldigt suddig. Genom en kvalitativ textanalys i två steg, en beskrivande samt en tolkande textanalys, kommer resultatet visa vilka ämnen som tas upp i bloggarna.

This thesis discusses model based tracking of radar echoes in tanks with liquid content. The errors in the measurements are not always random in these cases, and the interference that occurs when nearby echoes moves in relation to each other makes tracking difficult. The tracking problem can be broken down to four parts; track initiation, track destruction, association of the measured echoes to the tracks and to update the tracks with the associated echoes. The radar measurement is primarily made on the surface. However, additional echoes from the tank floor or other structures and double bounces are normally present.

In contemporary Sweden political participation among foreign-born Swedes is viewed as low and it is well known that foreign-born individuals do not use their voting rights to the same extent as the general population. At the same time there are numerous ethnic associations around the country who work with various activities involving political, democratic and integration issues. This study aims to study how four members of a Somali association regard, relate to and work with politics, democracy and integration. The study is based on these four people, but also on their relationship with authorities and other agencies in the community. The conclusion of this study shows in brief that the desire to participate politically is great, but that democracy and politics is accessible to all, depending on the level of language skills and what political knowledge the individual has.

Ungdomarna är idrottsföreningarnas framtid och idrottsföreningarna skapar positiv utveckling för ungdomarna. Det ungdomarna gör på fritiden och i vilket socialt sammanhang som de vistas i har betydelse för deras utveckling. Trots dessa positiva effekter som idrottsföreningarna har så väljer många ungdomar att sluta med föreningsidrotten. Detta beror på olika aspekter såsom ekonomi, kompisar, föräldrapåverkan och nya fritidsintressen. Därför är det viktigt hur idrottsföreningar jobbar med att behålla ungdomar och det är också syftet till denna studie.

The objective of this master thesis was to study the relation between public green open space and health among adolescents in Uppsala municipality, Sweden. The aim of the study was to investigate if there is an association between the access to green open space in the living environment and adolescent´s health, in terms of fysical activity, self- reported health and overweight. The public health questionnaire ?Liv och Hälsa Ung 2009? provided data together with a map over public green space, where the measure taken into account is the proportion of public green space in the living environment. The study includes 3423 adolescents, 12-19 years old.

Art directing i en digital kommunikationsbyrå och att arbeta heltid eller deltid som konstnär är två yrken som har en sak gemensamt. I egenskap av professionella roller har de en nyckeluppgift de måste uppfylla ? att vara kreativa. I denna uppsats fokuserar vi på den kreativa processen vid generering av idéer i områden av digital media och konst för att se om det finns tydliga skillnader eller likheter i hur kreativt arbete för sig inom båda områden. För att jämföra den kreativa processen mellan de två parterna har vi gjort flertalet intervjuer och observationer med yrkesverksamma konstnärer och art directors.

Some of the questions which are investigated in this thesis are: why did the State decide to introduce a PLR and why did it take about 20 years to make the decision? The purpose of this paper is to investigate some aspects of teaching environmental issues, as they are manifested in another culture. In this paper, I will discuss how you teach environmental issues, how the teaching environment is formed, and what an environmental issue means to a South African teacher, as well as, if there are any cultural aspects to what an environmental issue is. Seven observations were made and qualitative interviews with four teachers teaching Life Science in Cradock, South Africa - The results showed that these South African teachers, independent from each other, followed a similar pattern in their teachings. These patterns contain gathering information concerning environmental issues in the immediate surroundings, as well as using the text book and teaching environmental issues through lectures. It was not possible to draw a conclusion about the cultural aspects in association to environmental issues.

There is an ongoing process where the free market within the European Union is expanding, partly through the incorporation of new member states, partly through the signing of association agreements with nearby countries and regions. When trade barriers are removed in different ways more companies consider an internationalization of the company. However, the procedure of the internationalization of companies is a rather new and unexplored area in the context of research. The focus of this study is therefore to examine how a few companies situated in Sweden, has proceeded while searching for knowledge during the internationalization process. Data has been collected through interviews that have been balanced with information from Internet and other sources.
