The economic growth we have experienced the last century is based on limited natural resources. Whether these resources will last for a further economic growth is widely debated. Pessimism and optimism have each been influential philosophies in debate whose opinions can be conceded as two opposing opinions. In this paper we have analyze these opinions from an economics perspective. To study this further, the construction and meaning of the pessimistic and optimistic arguments have been applied implicitly on the Leontief production function and the Solow growth model.

The study is conducted by using a modified set of heuristics that are applied to the evaluated applications to gather data that is then used to evaluate the framework. The paper concludes that the framework can be used to evaluate learning applications but it should be modified to improve the results.

This paper describes a factor analysis applied at the data of the European Union structural indicators. These are the official indicators for wealth and economic development in the European Union with main use to evaluate the outcomes of the year 2000 Lisbon goals for making the European Union the world?s strongest economy by 2010. The purpose of the data is to serve for comparing and ?learning by doing?-policies, but have, due to size and format, so far been hard to use for a good compare between member countries.

Historically transformers with system earth equipment have been modeled as open circuits in zero sequence. This approximation has been satisfying, but lately it has been discovered that equipment on one side of the transformer have responded to faults that occurred at the other side. Most of these problems took place when the majority of the system on the secondary side of the transformer contained cables. These findings have led to questioning whether or not the former model of the transformer in zero sequence is correct. This report investigates if it is necessary to represent the transformer in zero sequence in another way than it is usually done today.

The catchphrase this project has been; the boundaries between ornamentation and improvisation are fluid.My aim was to focus on my work process, giving me the space and time so develop my design further regarding shape, color and combination of different styles in patterns.This is an explorative project where patterns were created without a predetermined product of which the patterns would be applied. In a later stage the character of the pattern determined which product that would be most suitable for application.It resulted in a collection of patterns for wallpaper and clothing. The motives are foxes, geometrical shapes and squares from a notebook. These motives form an ornamental expression in the patterns with the purpose of embellishment and therefore increase the emotional value of the product..

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur ett dramapedagogiskt arbetssätt kan bidra till lustfyllt lärande bland de yngsta barnen på förskolan. Genom intervjuer med pedagogerna undersökte jag hur de ser på arbetssättet. Vidare har jag genomfört videoobservationer i barngruppen för att på så sätt se hur barnen reagerar när figurerna från bilderboken får liv och kommer in i verksamheten. Som en röd tråd genom studien, när det kommer till barns lärande, ligger fokus på hur barns språk och kommunikation påverkas och eventuellt stimuleras av ett dramapedagogiskt arbetssätt. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka vilka möjligheter skönlitteratur har i undervisningen med syftet att främja en god klassrumsmiljö och motverka mobbning i en 3-5-klass. Uppsatsen lyfter fram mobbningsproblematiken och litteraturpedagogers och litteraturvetares teorier om skönlitteraturens möjligheter. Målet har varit att uppnå mitt syfte genom en egen undervisningsstrategi i vilken eleverna har deltagit och varit verksamma under en period på tre veckor. Undervisningsmetoderna i klassen har bestått av högläsning ur en skönlitterär bok som tar upp mobbningsproblematiken, reflektionsskrivning, drama, klassdiskussioner och värderingsövningar. Mitt val har varit att använda mig av olika metoder för att samla in data för min undersökning.

The boom of bio energy is criticized, as food crops are used to provide biodiesel and ethanol and the volumes are ridiculously small to supply world demand. Algae are one of the world?s oldest life forms and exist in many different phyla, providing a great variety to choose from, for different purposes. Cultivating microalgae offer a way to produce energy at great volumes without competing with food production and at the same time the algae offer a way to use our expensive nutrients in a more efficient way, besides this the algae are carbon dioxide neutral since their carbon source can be supplied by the atmosphere and the additional energy required can be supplied by algal oil or other renewable sources.
