The worsening of psychical health issues among young people has widely been discussed over the last few years. Research shows for example that 9% of girls at the age of 16-24 reported Anxiety problems in 1989 while 16 years later, in 2005, the same number was 30%. The purpose of this essay was to study and analyze psychiatrists', psychologists' and counselors' view on the resilience and risk factors for youth depression (age 16-24). Beside this, our aim was to study their view on the influence of family environment on treatment and recovery. Data were collected with qualitative interviews with eight informants within the psychiatric care.

Very often we are likely to hear how important it is as adults to help small children and pupils out of bullying situations, both for the bullied one and the bully. What we often tend to forget is that bullying situations among adults are as common as the ones children put up with. The only difference is that the ones adults go through is a much more silent one, and the bullies often have a better strategy on how to beat down their victims slowly. Some of the cases also show that the bullying that is happening among adults is similar to the one between children. The risks in the bullying that occurs in the work environment are such as: bad self-esteem, doubting in their roles as professionals, anger, depression, Anxiety and in some cases can be so dangerous that the suffered one eventually commits suicide.

Att individer med psykisk ohälsa arbetar innebär dock vinster på individ-, organisations-, och samhällsnivå (CEPI, 2012). Syftet med studien är därmed att undersöka hur arbetsmiljön för anställda med ångest- och depressionssyndrom har anpassats utifrån den anställdes förutsättningar. Studiens fokus är att belysa vilka faktorer som påverkade att anpassningarna genomfördes.

Background: Being subjected to an extensive burn injury affects the victim´s physique, social life and its psyche. A burn injury can be determined as a trauma. Burn injuries often make the patient suffer from pain, Anxiety and lack of a social life. Sister Callista Roy´s theory was used to analyze the result of the study. Andréasson, M, Preoperativa förutsättningar och postoperativ smärta efter hysterektomi. Examensarbete i omvårdnad 15 högskolepoäng, avancerad nivå (105-120 hp). Malmö högskola: Hälsa och samhälle, Utbildningsområde omvårdnad, 2008. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur 50 patienter bedömer den preoperativa fasen inför en planerad hysterektomi och att beskriva eventuella samband mellan dessa aspekter och upplevd postoperativ smärta. I studien användes ett frågeformulär med strukturerade frågor och ordinalskalor samt VAS verbala smärtskala för att värdera den pre- och postoperativa omvårdnaden. Studien visar att 18 (36 %) patienter hade postoperativt ingen till måttlig smärta och 32 (64 %) patienter hade medelsvår till outhärdlig smärta. Trots detta tyckte 36 (72 %) patienter att den postoperativa smärtlindringen var tillräcklig medan 13 (26 %) tyckte den var otillräcklig.

En av de vanligaste biverkningarna som patienter med cancer får är cancerrelaterad fatigue (CRF). Symtomen på CRF kan vara trötthet, oro och utanförskap. Syftet med litteraturöversikten var att belysa hur patienter upplevde CRF. Litteraturöversikten är baserad på tio kvalitativa artiklar och för att hitta dessa artiklar användes databaserna Cinahl och PubMed. Studierna analyserades utifrån en femstegsmodell som resulterade i fyra huvudkategorier: Att känna sig helt utmattad, Att uppleva en inre kamp, Att inte känna igen sig själv och Att förlora sin plats i livet.

The Swedish wolf population is like continue to grow and this will eventually lead to an increase in the predation of livestock. In Sweden carnivore attacks happen most frequent on sheep farms and the majority of these attacks are performed by wolves. Because of this, the main focus in this study is on the sheep and wolf problematic. It is not only the direct killing of livestock that affects the animals and their owners in a negative way. It has also been shown that livestock that lives close to carnivores sometimes change their behaviour in a way that will affect their ability to reproduce and to forage efficiently.

The aim of this study is to shed light on the phenomenon of destructive sexual behavior among youth from the perspective of professionals working at nonprofit organizations. To examine this, we used a qualitative method; we interviewed professionals working at nonprofit organizations. To analyze our results we used gender theory and empowerment theory. Our main results are that the professionals view this behavior as deliberate self-harm, such as cutting, as they do it to achieve relief from Anxiety. Also, the professionals think that gender norms affect young people with destructive sexual behavior in that it imposes guilt and shame, which inflicts their already low self-esteem and makes them feel inferior.

SEXUAL VIOLENCE AMONG ADOLESCENTS A literature study about adolescents who harm themselves through sex and measures to prevent that form of sexual violence Abstract Adolescents can harm themselves through sex by taking sexual risks such as sexual exposure on the internet, having unprotected sex and put themselves in situations where the potential for sexual violence is great. This type of sexual risk-behavior can create negative consequences and result in physical and mental sexual abuse. The aim of this study is to raise knowledge about youth who harm themselves through sex and measures to prevent that form of sexual violence. To accomplice this we made a general literature study on national and international research. Our study shows that despite the negative consequences, adolescent?s sexual risk-taking continues.

This essay is focused on the phenomena of self-injurious behavior of two young men. The purpose of the essay is to enlighten their experiences of their earlier self-injurious behavior, and to further enlighten which factors they believe have been contributed to the origin and the ending of the behavior. The research questions the essay raises are: Which factors has contributed to the origin of the self-injurious behavior? Which functions did the self-injurious behavior have for the young men? What made the two young men quit their self-injurious behavior? The essay is qualitative and do not imply to generalize the results and it is made from interviews with respondents and earlier research on self-injurious behavior. The results show that there are differences in the factors that origin of the self-injurious behavior between the respondents.
