År 2004 anmäldes ca 1 250 000 brott i Sverige. Hur man reagerar då man utsätts för ett brott är individuellt och beroende på brottets art och offrets aktuella livssituation mm. Flera faktorer spelar in, men det är uppenbart att den som drabbas av ett brott påverkas av detta, fysisk, känslomässigt och/eller ekonomiskt. Vi har med hjälp av handlingsplaner, verksamhetsplaner, intervjuer och annan litteratur, studerat brottsofferarbetet inom polisen med fokus på våra kommande arbetsgivare, Södermanlands län respektive Stockholms län. Syftet med arbetet är att uppmärksamma betydelsen av att polisen fullgör sitt ansvar gentemot brottsoffer, ett ansvar som till stor del handlar om informationsskyldighet.

The essay explores nationalism in the curriculum of the swedish school from 1878 to 1994. The text has been undertaken an analysis in three levels of discourse based on Norman Faircloughs critical language analysis. The first level is the text, the second is types of discourses and the third is order of discourse.The nationalism in the curriculum has been related to three nationalistic types of discourses, derived from earlier studies on Swedish nationalism. They are conservative nationalism, ?folkhemsnationalism? and contemporary nationalism.

This thesis is a discourse analysis analyzing public library librarians' talk on the subject of public library meeting places. Within the field of Library and Information Science the public libraries' functions as social meeting places have been scrutinized for more than a decade. Researchers in the Nordic countries in particular have looked at library users' use of the library space and have highlighted the sociologic dimensions of the public library and the meeting place functions. Few however have paid much attention to the library personnel's point of view. The discourse analysis perspective is about language use and how people construct the reality.

The purpose of this study is to understand how the school manages to question norms, and in doing so might prevent its students from being subjected to discrimination and other degrading treatment. This has been done with a focus on how gender related norms are represented, reproduced and questioned in children?s fictional literature. Two methods have been used; a survey and an literary analysis. The survey was conducted on primary school teachers with the intent to collect information related to their thoughts when choosing books to use in their classrooms, and also to source commonly used fiction.

The goal of this essay is to analyse how women belonging to a right wing political discourse talk about feminism and equality. This analysis will be used to determine if right wing feminism exists. The analysis is based on Laclau and Mouffe´s  discourse theory as the primary base. The focus is articulation, antagonism and hegmony; the central terms of Laclau and Moffe´s theroy. The material consists of five interviews with representatives of women wings of liberal political in Sweaden; Liberala kvinnor, Centerkvinnor and Moderatkvinnor.The study shows that there are different opinions regarding feminism in the liberal political discouse, and that those opinions have an antagonistic relationship.

Förtroendet för den säljande parten spelar en avgörande roll i all typ av handel, men kan vara än mer avgörande vid internetbaserad handel. E-handeln växer sig starkare för varje år som går, där allt fler branscher väljer att representera sig i mediet, och där allt fler konsumenter hittar något av intresse. Symbiosen av att allt fler branscher etablerar sig, och där allt fler konsumenter använder internet som marknadsplats ställer ökade krav på e-butikernas förtroendeingivelse. Syftet med denna rapport är att identifiera eventuella skillnader i förtroendet för e-handel, med avsikt på personer i olika åldersgenerationer. Med detta menas om det finns skillnad i personers förtroende för e-handel, beroende på vilken åldersgeneration den tillfrågade tillhör.Undersökningsmodellen och dess frågeställning har i denna rapport utgått ifrån en kvantitativ enkätundersökning, för att utifrån två stora populationer dra generella slutsatser om de båda generationernas synpunkter och förhållningssätt till förtroendet för e-handel, samtidigt som det empiriska materialet jämförts mot Svensk Handel och andra vetenskapliga studier.Resultatet visar att de båda generationerna har ett relativt lika synsätt med liknande åsikter, men där den yngre generationen generellt påvisar större förtroende för internetbaserad handel, där den äldre ställer sig något avvaktande och riskanalyserande gällande handelssättet..

The artistic subjects disappeared from the obligatory curriculum of the Swedish secondary school in 2011. The purpose of this work is to analyze to which extent the new curriculum Lgy11 is based on scientific results when it comes to the role the aesthetics were given. This paper analyzes the documents that preceded the reform, such as Government Reports and Interpellation Debates, for a start. It continues with an analysis of an interdisciplinary group of researchers, whose scientific work include research of impacts of art and art education in ordinary education and learning in a more holistic perspective. Finally an analysis of the curriculum itself is made.

Utifrån den teori som idag finns om intern marknadsföring upptäckte vi som forskare för dennarapport att det skrivits relativt lite om intern marknadsföring i produktionsföretag jämfört med itjänsteföretag, varför vi såg det intressant att gå djupare in på detta område. Vi diskuteradedärefter syftet med rapporten som blev att kartlägga hur intern marknadsföring tillämpas i ettproduktionsföretag utifrån de tre olika perspektiven; utbildning, informationsspridning och kundmedvetenhet.Detta för att få en inblick i hur produktionsföretag agerar inom intern marknadsföring.Utifrån detta syfte kom vi fram till följade problemformulering; På vilket sätt tillämpasintern marknadsföring i stora produktionsföretag i Sverige med perspektiv mot utbildning,informationsspridning och kundmedvetenhet? Utifrån teorin valde vi att intervjua två lämpligaproduktionsföretag som fick ligga till grund för vår insamlade primärdata. Vi valde att intervjuatvå personer i varje företag, en operatör och en i ledningen. Efter att vi sammanställtintervjumaterialet fick intervjurespondenterna gå igenom underlaget för att skapa högre validitetoch trovärdighet för vår rapport.Med denna uppsats har vi kommit fram till följande slutsats; att produktionsföretag är oeniga omvem som är kund, lojalitet och tillfredställelse uppnås inte enbart genom företagsprodukten ocharbetsuppgiften, kunskap i form av information kan öka personalens effektivitet och motivationsamt att större vikt bör läggas på utbildning av personalens kundmedvetenhet..

During the changes of time, the stipulations for the existence of books and libraries also change. With technical advances come new possibilities, and the option to publish literature electronically is one of them. The purpose of this Master's thesis is to answer the question how the advantages and disadvantages of electronically published literature is described and constructed. To further deepen the analysis these questions were asked: What aims are the electronically published literature said to achieve? Why are the electronically published literature said to achieve these aims? And who are favoured/disfavoured by electronically published literature? The analyzed publications are four Swedish library related publications: Biblioteksbladet, Dik-forum, Ikoner and Nya Ciceron.

Seven individuals from Surahammar in Västmanland Sweden are analyzed for the appearance of pathological and skeletal changes. The graves, all from within the walls of a fourteenth century church, are dated from the Viking age to late eighteenth century. The aim of this scientific essay is to find pathological conditions by doing an osteological analyze, x-ray analysis, an osteoporosis measurement and letting orthopedists assess the individuals. The aim is also to say something about the individuals? general health and how they experience the changes they have in the skeleton.

Value stream mapping is a tool that is frequently used by many different companies. It is a great tool used to achieve the work that follows the theories of lean production. The tool is used, however, only frequent on the factory floor and the method is also designed based on this type of use.An interest of applying the method on administrative parts of the company has occurred lately. Administrative parts of the company refers to the part that does all the planning such as purchasing, receiving orders, customer contact, contact with factory floor and other work that is made around the actual manufacturing. But the knowledge about applying value stream mapping on the planning part of the company is lacking because the method is relatively new.In this work, a comparison is made between the introduction of value stream analysis on production and planning.

I denna rapport har jag försökt att kritiskt granska och kartlägga hur polishundar tränas att hantera påträffade föremål. Det finns två tekniker som nyttjas olika mycket. Det skiljer sig mellan föremål som påträffas när hunden spårar efter en person, och när hunden sänds på ett s k saksök, eller uppletande. I den här undersökningen kan man konstatera att en teknik är säkrare än den andra. Säkrare för hunden, hundföraren, och rättssystemet.

The aim of this study was to describe, analyze and compare the Left Party?s, the Social Democratic Party?s, the Liberal People?s Party?s and the Moderate Party?s ideas on immigration policy from 1960-2010. In this study the immigration policy program or party program was analyzed through idea analysis to find out what immigration policy interventions they have come with, and if they want to assimilate or integrate immigrants. Materials used for the study are the immigration policy programs and party programs. Even scientific journals and articles have been used, in both national and international level.

This Master?s thesis aims to study how the concept ?youth? is understood and used in papers and publications about public libraries, written at The Swedish School of Library and Information Science from 1972 to 2002. It does this by answering three questions: Firstly, how is the concept ?youth? formulated in papers and publications at SSLIS from 1972 - 2002? Secondly, has the concept ?youth? changed in the analysed texts during the chosen time and, if that is the case, what constitutes this change? And, finally, what types of consequences for the understanding of the users can this have for the writers and readers of these texts? Discourse analysis is used to analyze how this concept is constituted, transformed and understood. Among the things studied in the discourse analysis is the interdiscursivity and intertextuality of the texts, as well as the meaning of the word, the wordings and modality of the analysed texts.
