The purpose was to investigate how conversationalinteraction is pragmatically affected in Huntington?s disease; whetherthis can be assessed by means of a questionnaire completed by a closepartner and how the close partners consider communicative ability haschanged since the onset of illness. Three dyads, consisting of a personwith Huntington?s disease and a conversational partner were involved.Conversations were analyzed with respect to the parameters in thequestionnaire and through Activity Based Communication Analysis.The results showed word finding difficulties, impaired turn taking,feedback and body language, repair, articulation and prosody.Agreement between communication analysis and the close partnerreport varied between 54-65 %. The close partners consideredcommunicative initiative, articulation, turn taking and sentenceintonation as much changed.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the phenomenon e-commerce and how it has developed in recent years. The study will focus on identifying different success factors relevant for this field of interest. Furthermore the purpose is to analyze how relationships, service and value in the e-commerce sector and how they are connected to each other.

This paper discuss the possibilities to improve the Swedish political nomination system. It brings up some of the values and norms that can be used to change the existing system. Values as openness, the demand of responsibility and also if there is values from the American spoils system that can be used in the Swedish system. A minor purpose is to discuss the part of the parliament within the nomination process. To investigate this I have some theoretical starting points and a self constructed analysis tool.

The purpose with this thesis is to clarify how estate agents working with their marketing and marketing strategies. Our study has occured in Kalmar and we have used five different estate agents for our collection of empiric?s data. We have worked with a qualitative methodology to achieve deeper knowledge about these five company?s which have been chosen for the study.We have selected theories that suit our subject and together with the empiric data these two parts will be compared which concludes in an analysis.

The central goal of this study was to compare statements of the minister of migration in power in 1994 with those of the minister of migration in 2006. The statements reflect two peaks of refugee immigration in connection to the war in former Yugoslavia and the present war in Iraq. The study analyses the statements in a critical discourse analysis framework. More specifically the aim was to find out if there were any discursive differences in these statements and how they might manifest themselves in society. The material was composed of 12 texts, 6 for each period originating from Swedish newspapers and from the ministers' public speeches.

This essay presents an alternative approach to the predominant democratic analysis of the European Monetary Union. As the Treaties stipulate the political conduct within Monetary Union and put certain restrictions on the European politicians they are to some extent constitutional in their character. Essential for constitutional theory is the concept of precommitment; according to which a decision is made in t1 purposing to obstruct certain actions in t2. In light of this the aim of this essay is to investigate whether or not delegating monetary responsibility to the ECB can be seen as an example of constitutional precommitment and if so, if this constitutional perspective can add something to the predominant democratic analysis of the EMU. According to the author the EMU is by and large a form of precommitment as the leading politicians in Europe figuratively have tied their hands from intervening in the common monetary policy.

De vill ha en ny jeansmodell som kompletterar deras jeansutbud.Rapporten talar om hur 40-tals silhuetten utformas och hur bästa möjliga passform uppnås via avprovningar och mönsterändringar. In this thesis the construction of identity within the EU is discussed. A thesis problem in three dimensions is used to explain the purpose of the construction, its realization and the consequences of such identity. These aspects show the complexity of the problems related to identity construction on a structural level.By using a post-modern and a social constructivist theoretical approach identity is presented as socially constructed by discourse. The theory of discourse makes it possible to analyze the development of an identity forming discourse within the EU and its status today.With an approach inspired by critical theory, we use discourse analysis as a methodological tool to illustrate the ideas that govern discourse, and in what way it is related to the social reality.The analysis states that the purpose of identity constructing is the striving for legitimacy. Without identification, the legitimacy is threatened.

This bachelor thesis is titled Who has Right to Rights ? a Critical Discourse Analysis of the Swedish Government?s Migration Politics and is written by Sofia Lindqvist within the discipline of International Relations.The thesis takes its departure in the paradox that irregular migrants in Sweden are given different rights depending on which state institution they face. Through its collaboration with the Environmental party, the Swedish government has made it possible for irregular migrants to access extended health care. At the same time, one of the main goals of the current migration policy is to make deportations more effective. This essay aims to explore if the Swedish migration policies are compatible with universal human rights standards.

In the collections of the Vasa Museum, 100 leather objects have exhibited salt precipitations. The objects, that have previously been impregnated with PEG, have become deteriorated and fragmented due to the precipitations. During a previously conducted study it was established that the precipitations consisted of iron and sulphur. However, it was not established whether they occurred in the leather?s inner structure and no treatment plan was developed.

This degree project aims to investigate the potential and possibilities for conceptual energyanalyses in the early stages of the design process. Many key decisions are made in theearly stages of a project regarding the shape and orientation of the building. Conceptualenergy analyses can provide the architects with insight regarding different design option?srelative energy performance.As the demands for more sustainable buildings increases, so does the need for earlyenergy analyses. ABSTRACTThe study is an analysis of the politic debate about the decentralising of the public school between the years 1946 and 1990. The problem that the essay is about to study is which reason made the decentralising take place. The texts that have been read, interpreted and reconstructed are propositions, motions and written debates in the parliament. The purpose of the study is to examine the discussion about the schools decentralising in 1946-1990. The aim is also to examine what kind of pro- and contra arguments that are shown in the debate and who the interveners are and why they made a statement.

Denna rapport är ett examensarbete som utförts vid Institutionen för datavetenskap vid Högskolan i Skövde.Examensarbetet behandlar transportlogistik och samordning av företag i allmänhet, samt ett transportsamordningsprojekt i Falköping.Denna rapport syftar till att utgöra en form av rekommendation för en sådan transportsamverkan.Rapporten inleds med en bakgrundsbeskrivning där jag redovisar varför och hur transportsamordningsprojektet i Falköping startade samt vilka fördelar en fungerande transportsamverkan kan ge.I introduktionen gör jag en historisk tillbakablick över transportlogistikens utveckling samt beskriver de fyra transportkomponenterna; väg, terminal, godsbärare och drivmedel. Här behandlar jag även organisationsteoretiska faktorer som kan inverka vid en samordning av företag.Rapporten innehåller också en detaljerad problembeskrivning där jag avgränsar problemet samt ger två perspektiv ur vilka problemen kan granskas. Dessutom anger jag ett antal problemställningar som jag anser vara intressanta och motiverar varför jag ser dem som intressanta.Vidare redovisar jag mitt tillvägagångssätt vid genomförandet av en intervjuundersökning, analyserar den insamlade informationen samt drar slutsatser med utgångspunkt från denna analys samt reflekterar över hur det projekt jag studerat varit organiserat och hur det har utvecklats.I rapportens sista kapitel försöker jag, med utgångspunkt från de erfarenheter jag skaffat mig under arbetets gång, att ge ett antal rekommendationer gällande transportsamordning och projekt liknande det i Falköping..

Denna rapport redogör för användandet av två varianter av utfyllnadstext som används inom interaktionsdesign: lorem ipsum samt typsnittet Blokkfont Neue Regular. Syftet är att lyfta fram ett befintligt alternativ till lorem ipsum, redogöra för uppkomst samt användningsområden för dessa två. För att bäst illustrera exempel har jag valt att redovisa detta med wireframes som representerar en textintensiv digital miljö.Alternativet till lorem ipsum som jag valt att studera, är ett typsnitt som närmast kan liknas vid en markeringstext i form av enfärgade fält som motsvarar respektive bokstav och som tillsammans bildar en enhet. Dessa alternativ används istället för originalcopytexten av två anledningar: antingen för att originalcopytexten saknas, alternativt för att den anses distrahera testpersonen att fokusera på textens innehåll framför för interaktion.I denna rapport kommer jag presentera uppkomst och användande av lorem ipsumtext och typsnittet Blokkfont Neue Regular, och med hjälp av litteraturstudier och stilprover bidra till en större förståelse kring vilken roll dessa platshållare spelar trots att de gör sitt bästa för att inte synas..

Denna rapport presenterar det examensarbete på 10 poäng jag gjorde på möbeldesignprogrammet vid Carl Malmsten CTD våren 2006. Syftet med denna rapport är att beskriva och klargöra processen av detta examensarbete samt formgivningen av produkterna som styrts av mitt koncept. Rapporten grundar sig på dokumentation från processens gång och jag har valt att redovisa mitt arbete i denna rapport i fyra kapitel. Den första inledande delen beskriver bakgrunden till projektet, den andra redovisar insamlingsetappen i form av bild, skissmaterial och konceptbeskrivning, den tredje handlar om skissetappen och själva designprocessen och den sista visar dokumentationen av gestaltningsarbetet av prototyperna. Avslutningsvis kommer en resultatanalys och kommentarer till arbetet och produkterna.
