Barnlitteratur ur ett genusperspektiv

Vårt syfte med studien var att undersöka om och i så fall hur lärare arbetar medvetet med genus i litteraturen. Vi ville undersöka vilka böcker barn i två förskolor och elever i år 2 i två skolor väljer att läsa och vilka genusstrukturer dessa böcker visar upp. För att få våra frågeställningar besvarade har vi använt oss av halvstrukturerade intervjuer med fyra lärare, gjort boklistor på böcker barn i förskolorna har tillgång till och eleverna i skolorna läser, samt gjort textanalyser ur ett genusperspektiv av åtta av de mest populära barnböckerna i vårt material. Resultatet visar att de fyra intervjuade lärarna arbetar mycket med litteratur, men inte i någon större utsträckning utifrån ett genusperspektiv. De väljer eller påverkar inte heller elevernas val utifrån genus nämnvärt.

Jämställdhet och könsroller i grunskolan. : En studie av läroplaner och läroböcker på 1980- och 1990-talen.

Even though discrimination of gender in schools and general workplaces is prohibited by Swedish law, there are reports and witness accounts that suggest that discrimination, such as sexual harassment, still exist in Swedish schools.The main purpose with this essay is to look into how questions concerning gender related issues and equality between the sexes is treated in the schools governmental directives, and in textbooks, such trying to examine in what way these questions are addressed in schools. I will answer the following:In what way and to what extent do the governmental directives bring up questions concerning gender related issues and equality, and how are the teachers governed into teaching these matters?Has there been any change concerning these matters between Lgr-80 and Lpo-94?What is written in textbooks in social studies about gender rôle and equality and to what extent do they follow the curriculum?Is there any visible change in textbooks written after Lgr-80 and Lpo-94?In order to answer these questions I will analyze the curricula, Lgr-80 and Lpo-94, and textbooks in social studies written on the basis of these curricula.The study showed a more evident governing towards an active teaching and mentoring the students to equality between the sexes, in Lgr-80 than in Lpo-94. The textbooks followed above all Lgr-80 in three of four cases and in the fourth case the curriculum was not followed at all..

Resonemang kring variation i lärandet: Waldorf-, Freinet- och Bifrostpedagoger

The aim of the study is to investigate reasoning about variation in learning, made by Waldorf, Freinet- and Bifrost pedagogues. The focal points are how the pedagogues reason about variation in learning and why they want to use variation. It is a qualitative study, and it is done through interviews with one Waldorf pedagogue, one Freinet pedagogue and one Bifrost pedagogue. The conversation with each pedagogue is complemented by literature that describes and discusses each pedagogue?s specific teaching method. The results of the study are linked to different theories and reasoning by scientists and professors.

Analys och dimensionering av robusta kilspårsförband

This master thesis comprises analysis and dimensioning of a keyed joint between a generator axis and a hub with aid from the FEM-software ANSYS Workbench 13.0.The generator axis is a part of a hydroelectric power station that generates electricity with a reactions turbine, a Kaplan turbine. The existing keyway consists of one parallel key with the width 90 mm and height 45 mm. Due to a planned increase of the power of the generated power with 32 % a design study was needed to see if the keyed joint would be suitable for the extra force. Because of the fact that the axis diameter is bigger than the standards covers/recommends a the keyway had to be re-dimensioned. In an earlier assignment from Skellefteå Kraft AB to Sweco Energuide the keyway was planned to be properly dimensioned, but no final solution was approved.During this master thesis a number of different numerical tests were made.

A qualitative study of child?s use of pedagogic materials available at five nursery schools and about their teachers thoughts about the display of the pedagogic material?In the nursery preschool the environment and the educational materials have always had a central place. That's why it has been chosen to study and observe five preschools and interview sex teachers, in an attempt to understand the teachers thought about the choice of material and the choices of material that the children used. The reason I do this is to see what the underlying idea about the materials the children use is, and why educators choose to make certain materials visible. The purpose of this study is to examine the educational materials that are used to stimulate children´s learning and examine what determines the choice of educational materials.

Matematikdidaktik : En teoretisk studie av att lära algebra

This is a literature study of learning mathematics in general and algebra in particular. The goal is to explore and investigate the learning procedure and the difficulties pupils have with their understanding. Furthermore, to understand what qualities is requested of pupils in their effort to be successful in mathematics and algebra. I have also explored different pupil thinking styles in mathematics and what consequences that has on their learning and understanding. Moreover, I have investigated some different learning styles and how they can be addressed in teaching of mathematics in general and algebra in particular.

ABSTRACTMusic and differences in knowledge ? a study of music teachers experiences with differences in musical knowledge. The purpose of this paper is to, out of a music teacher?s perspective, see if the differences in music abilities between 7th grade students are at all, or in some ways connected to the previous schools they?ve attended. I will also research in what areas, in the subject of music, students are differing more, as well as less, in their knowledge. The analysis is based on interviews with six 7th grade music teachers working in the Swedish nine-year compulsory school system.

Medling i dispositiva tvistemål : En kritisk utvärdering av det svenska systemet

This paper is a critical evaluation of the Swedish system with special mediation. The district court has the opportunity, in cases that are amenable to out-of-court settlements, to refer the dispute to special mediation. However, this is extremely rare, even though the legislature expressed a desire to increase the use of alternative dispute resolution. In 2011, a series of measures were taken to increase the use of mediation and strengthen mediation attractiveness. What effect can be inferred from these actions today, over three years after their introduction? This study analyses the main reasons offered for why mediation is not used more, and what should be done to increase the use of mediation.

IKT i den nya lärarutbildningen : En kritisk granskning av det fjärde perspektivet

The aim of this paper is to investigate how well information and communication technology (ICT) is implemented in the new teacher training program in the subject of Swedish and how this is presented in the applications for examination licence to the National Swedish Agency for Higher Education. This is an interesting field of study, since ICT has been selected, by an investigation chosen by the government to be one of four overall perspectives that are supposed to permeate the teacher training program. There have been several difficulties involved in this project of which one has been the extent of the material.  27 applications and all curriculums in the subject of Swedish belonging to them have been examined. Another difficulty was that the applications and the curriculums are written by different persons under different conditions such as time and resources.

Pedagogiska hjälpmedel för barn med koncentrationssvårigheter : en undersökning om vilka material/hjälpmedel som finns till hjälp för barn och pedagoger i förskolan

Sammanfattning:Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med denna undersökning är att undersöka vilka material/ hjälpmedel som används för att hjälpa barnen med koncentrationssvårigheter i förskolorna och att undersöka vilka för- och nackdelar pedagogerna ser med materialet/ hjälpmedel.MetodFör att undersöka vilka material/verktyg som finns i verksamheterna gjordes en webbenkät.Webbenkäten korsanalyserades med en intervju som gjordes i en särskoleverksamhet.ResultatResultatet av enkäten visade att pedagogerna använde olika färdiga material samt egenutvecklat material. Det positiva som framkom var att alla barn oavsett behov gynnades av att arbeta med materialet. Det negativa var att pedagogerna ansåg att de hade för lite schemalagd tid att leta efter passande material.Betydelse för läraryrketMin förhoppning är att denna undersökning ska hjälpa pedagoger i förskoleverksamheter med att lättare kunna söka passande material till barngrupperna. Min förhoppning är också att ge pedagoger en liten fingervisning om var de kan finna information gällande hjälpmedel för barn med behov..

Att vardagsanknyta matematikundervisning

Vi har genom intervjuer och klassrumsobservationer undersökt hur tre pedagoger i grundskolans tidigare år använder elevernas erfarenheter från sin vardag i matematikundervisningen, varför pedagogerna undervisar som de gör samt vad de använder för material i sin undervisning..

?Jag vill göra en egen leksak? En studie om användningen av tredimensionella skapande material i förskolan

Syftet med vår undersökning är att ta reda på hur och om barn och pedagoger använder tredimensionella material på två förskolor. Vårt intresse för skapande material uppstod då vi gick sidoämneskursen Det tredimensionella konstruerade arbetet inom slöjd/hantverk, då vi själv fick arbeta och bekanta oss med tredimensionella material. Genom våra diskussioner inom ämnet blev vi intresserade av att ta reda på om dessa material fanns ute på förskolorna. För att ta reda på detta gjorde vi en undersökning med kvalitativa observationer och intervjuer med åtta barn och fyra pedagoger. Vi stödjer oss främst på Granbergs, Tragetons och Vygotskijs teorier och forskning om skapande verksamhet. Vår slutsats är att tredimensionella material finns ute på förskolorna, men att de sällan används.
