Studien visade hur patienter med funktionsnedsättningar förbereds inför en matningssituation på en somatisk vårdavdelning, som även omfattar vård-personalens bemötande gentemot patienterna samt om informationen gavs. Att tydliggöra och lyfta fram patientens upplevelse av matningen, är viktigt då det har stor inverkan på måltidssituationen. Resultatet visade att de patienter som blivit informerade och fått tillräckligt med tid för att förbereda sig verkade konsumera mer av sina portioner, än de som inte fick någon information. Brister fanns fram-förallt i informationsgivningen samt den tid patienten fick till att förbereda sig inför matningen. Vårdpersonalen på avdelningen där observationerna genom-fördes tog i stort sätt hänsyn till de grundläggande värderingarna som återges i hälso- och sjukvårdslagen (1982:763), ICN:s etiska kod (2000) samt kompetensbeskrivning för sjuksköterskor (Socialstyrelsen, 2005).

This report is a thesis on requests from Sandvik Mining and Construction (SMC) in autumn of 2012. The goal of this work was to study the feasibility of creating and implementing an Equalized preventive maintenance program in SMC maintenance operations and reduce downtime for preventive maintenance (PM). To investigate whether this was possible, the authors studied the current procedures for the PM. The authors have collected and analyzed all relevant information within the maintenance department reporting system as well as through interviews determined whether it is practical to introduce a Equalized PM programs. The authors had also studied the possibilities to entrust part of the maintenance work to the operators of the machine cells.

The field trial Exploatering av höga P-AL-tal (Exploiting P in heavily P dressed soils) started in 1982-1983 and included seventeen study sites placed across Sweden. Each site included three treatments, one unfertilized control (A), one aiming at replenishment of harvest removal, i.e. fertilized with 15 kg P ha-1 year-1 (B) and one over-fertilized (C) with 30 kg P ha-1 year-1. In this thesis data from the five longestrunning study sites are analysed based on four hypotheses. The hypotheses stated that in soils with high P-AL values and a pH over 6.0 P-AL will not decrease over time in the control (A) or in the replenishment treatment (B), that P-AL and P-HCl in the top soil will increase at all sites for the over-fertilized treatment (C) and that yields will not decrease as long as the P-AL is above 12 mg P 100 g-1 soil. My conclusions from the analysis of data from the selected sites are as follows: - A pH above 6.0 cannot guarantee a stable P-AL value in an unfertilized but phosphorus-rich soil. - The P-AL of unfertilized soils decreased faster at lower soil pH than at higher pH. - In the replenishment treatment (B) the rate of P-AL decrease seems to fall at a pH of 6.5. However, the influence of the soil type cannot be ignored. - P-AL and P-HCl did not increase in all over-fertilized treatments.

Self-efficacy är, delvis, beroende av generalisering genom vilken individen kan ta gamla erfarenheter till stöd inför aktuella situationer. Individer med undergiven roll i en 24/7 relation, inom Bondage-discipline, dominance-submission, sadism-masochism (BDSM) subkulturen, befinner sig i en, i högre grad, strukturerad vardag än individer med dominant roll. Detta bör leda till större erfarenhetsbank att generalisera från. Frågeställning är huruvida individerna med undergiven roll ligger på extremare nivåer av allmän och förhållandefokuserad self-efficacy, än de med dominant roll. En enkätundersökning genomfördes där den allmänna self-efficacyn testades med skalan översatt av Löve, Moor och Hensing (2011) och den förhållandefokuserade self-efficacyn med en egen översättning av Sherer, Maddux, Mercandante, Prentice-Dunn, Jacobs, och Rogers (1982) skala.

This study compares the sample variance of the mean in a simple random sample (SRS) and a systematic sample from a surface. The study also compares the prediction error variance in a SRS and systematic sample from a random field. Recommendations are presented on which method to use in the clearance and exemption process in the nuclear industry. The results indicate that quadratic systematic sampling outperformed SRS in most instances and proved to be especially efficient in the presence of a long-ranged covariance function and high sampling intensity (i.e. short distances between observations).

This thesis is the final part of bachelors program of Nuclear Engineering at UppsalaUniversity (program code KKI1). The work has been carried out in cooperation withForsmark Kraftgrupp AB. The topic studied deals with possible improvements ofefficiency at the planning department at block 2 in Forsmark i.e. FMP2.FMP2 plans and coordinates over 3,000 operations which is carried out during theannual overhaul of block 2 in Forsmark. Inspections, fuel replacement and repairs areincluded in the annual overhaul.

In the last decades, lean production has proven to be one of the most important organizational paradigms in manufacturing. The lean concept has also spread into the service industry where it is applied within a range of different areas. The wide applicability of lean principles has spurred the authors of this study to apply the principles in the context of the operations of a Swedish remand prison. The thesis examines the process a client of the remand prison Häktet Kronoberg goes through from the time of arrest until he/she is released or convicted and transferred to jail. Based on lean tools and principles, the thesis maps and analyses this process.

The purpose of this work is to providing a general set of base classes for building simulators, for example a robot system. Instead of every time building a new simulator from the beginning, you get the already completed components from a library. The library should in that way act as a springboard for development.To do this work, there?s a lot of knowledge required in how a general robot system could look like. Therefore it was necessary to gather some information about robotics.

This study aims to examine the effect the evaluation system used by the Stockholm County Council, has on how the healthcare providers themselves conduct the evaluation regarding their own operations. This is done through a qualitative case study of the evaluation systems of the Stockholm County Council and of four primary healthcare producers concerning one primary healthcare contract. The evaluation systems were analysed using Merchant and Ver der Stede's (2007) framework for different types of control. In order to give a more detailed picture this framework was complemented with different types of performance measurement. The evaluation that the Stockholm County Council conducts was found to have little influence on the providers own evaluation with the exception of the quality indicators that are rewarded with a monetary bonus..

This thesis work is executed at Business Unit Ericsson Test Environment (BETE), in Linköping. BETE is the department at Ericsson, which is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the company's Operations Support System (OSS). Their management system was outdated and they wanted it to be updated and it also required new features. The database needed to be replaced and the data migrated to a new database without licensing costs. The system also needed a part where employees could manage existing users.As a programming language PHP was chosen for its dynamic possibilities, platform independence and good support for database intergration.

Många av de klassiska sjökrigsteoretiker som vi idag studerar, levde och verkade i entid, då striden till sjöss bedrevs på ett till stor del annorlunda sätt och med annanutrustning. Kan deras beskrivna metoder fortfarande anses tillämpliga idag, eller kan vise en tendens till förändring? Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka i vilkenutsträckning som det moderna sjökriget använder de sjökrigsmetoder somsjökrigsteoretikern och historikern, Sir Julian Corbett, tecknade ner i början av 1900-talet. Som empiriskt fall för att pröva hans metoder används Falklandskriget 1982. Föratt uppfylla uppsatsens syfte kommer följande frågeställningar att besvaras: Vilkasjökrigsmetoder finns i den teoretiska litteraturen skriven av Corbett? Tillämpasfortfarande dessa metoder i moderna krig? Kan man eventuellt urskilja några nyametoder? En av uppsatsens slutsatser är att Corbetts sjökrigsmetoder fortfarandeanvänds i moderna krig om än med en något annorlunda tillämpning.

NATO, USA, Storbritannien och Ryssland m.fl. använder sig av stridsuppgiften räd för markstridskrafter och erfarenheter från bl.a. Irakkriget 2003 visar att de kan få stor betydelse. Räder anses överensstämma med manöverteorin, men räder återfinns inte som stridsuppgift för svenska markstridskrafter.Denna uppsats analyserar stridsuppgiften räd för markstridskrafter, operationaliserar två indikatorer för räder och med hjälp av dessa undersöks hur räder är förenligt med FM nuvarande doktrin och Reglemente för Markoperationer (RMO).Undersökningen visar att räder inte är förenliga med nuvarande doktrin och RMO. Inledning: I Sverige drabbas årligen ca 10 000 personer av hjärtstopp, av dem överlever ca 300 personer. Under 2005- 2008 drabbades 2973 personer av hjärtstopp på sjukhus, av dessa kunde endast 30 % skrivas ut levande. Bakgrund: De första fallen av närståendes närvaro vid återupplivning inträffade vid Foote Hospital i Michigan, USA, 1982. Personalen blev då tvungna att ifrågasätta sina egna riktlinjer som uteslöt närstående vid återupplivning. Internationella riktlinjer för hjärt- lungräddning (HLR) rekommenderar att närstående bör få närvara vid återupplivning.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to deepen the understanding of how society affects literary criticism by studying the reception of two Swedish dystopian novels and their contemporary anchorage. The questions that we answer here are concerned with how critics have drawn parallels between the novels and events occurring in the contemporary society, and how the critics outlook on the future are connected to ideas about the future in the novels. The first novel, Kallocain 1940 by Karin Boye has been interpreted as a critical statement directed towards totalitarian ideologies. The second novel, After the Flood 1982 by P C Jersild, has been seen as a warning against nuclear warfare. This qualitative study is based on 41 reviews from Swedish daily press.
