Syfte: Syftet var att undersöka vilka kunskaper vårdpersonal upplever sig ha om äldre personer med diabetes typ 2. Resultatet av undersökningen ska ligga till grund för utvecklandet av ett instrument för kunskapskontroll inför delegering.Metod: Denna studie genomfördes med kvalitativ ansats med hjälp av fokusgruppsintervjuer.Den kvalitativa intervjumetoden användes för att ta reda på vilka kunskaper om diabetes som vårdpersonal i kommunal vård upplever sig ha. Studien innefattade intervjuer vid tre tillfällen. Sammanlagt deltog 22 personer i intervjuerna.Resultat: Studien visar att vårdpersonalen upplever sin kunskap om diabetes som bristfällig. Detta gäller framför allt symtom, behandling samt vilka åtgärder som ska vidtas vid förändring i hälsotillståndet hos den äldre personen med diabetes typ 2.

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to examine how public libraries in Sweden handles their weeding procedures. A series of questions are asked: How does libraries in Sweden motivate weeding? What principles constitutes the procedure of weeding? Which aspects are given most importance when weeding is decided. How does views on weeding differ between libraries of different sizes? How does longer or shorter professional experience influence the view on weeding? The study was done through an online questionnaire which was sent to a number of staff members on different libraries via e-mail.

Syfte: Att beskriva och analysera sjuksköterskors kunskap, användning av och inställning till avledning som en smärtlindrande omvårdnadsmetod vid procedursmärta hos barn. Metod: Fyrtioen sjuksköterskor, varav sexton specialistutbildade, från tre olika pediatriska slutenvårdsavdelningar besvarade en enkät som sedan analyserades med hjälp av innehållsanalys samt i statistikprogrammet SPSS där t-tester och Spearman?s rangkorrelationskoefficient beräknats. Resultat: En stor andel utav sjuksköterskorna hade hört talas om avledning och använde sig regelbundet av metoden. Två tredjedelar, främst specialistutbildade, hade hög kunskap kring avledning och ansåg sig använda metoden i hög utsträckning. Flertalet, främst specialistutbildade, var positivt inställda till metoden. Specialistutbildade sjuksköterskor hade högre kännedom och kunskap än grundutbildade sjuksköterskor.

År 1981 då HIV beskrevs för första gången associerades smittan med homosexualitet och bisexualitet bland män samt intravenöst missbruk. Trots mer kunskap om hur viruset sprids förekommer fördomar och diskriminering av patienter med HIV från både allmänheten och vårdpersonalen. Tidigare forskning visar att det finns en ovilja bland vårdpersonal att vårda patienter med HIV. SYFTE: Studiens syfte var att beskriva HIV-patienters upplevelser av mötet med vårdpersonal.

The level of help and support given to elderly people over the age of 65 has been regulated by two separate laws; 1-the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) and 2- Act of Social Services (SoL). Recent changes in the legislation could cause local authorities to deal with these issues in different ways. The aim of this study was to examine and evaluate possible differences in the level of support for the elderly, dependant on which of the two laws was used in the decision process.The questions raised in this paper are· What are the major differences in the purposes of the two legislations?· How will the decisions be influenced dependant on what law is used? Do the decisionmakers identify the difference between the quality levels "good" and "fair"?· How is the process of care organised and managed within each of these legislations and how is the personnel used?· Are there differences in quality regarding freedom of choice, your own right to decide, influence, comprehensive view and continuity in the efforts given?· What development can you see in these fields of care.As a method I have used a case study involving four big cities in Scania. The most interesting and essential knowledge in the study was obtained from qualitative interviews with eleven decision-makers in the four communities.The result of this study indicates that there are more similarities than differences in the purposes of these laws.

Through qualitative interviews with elite Swedish football organizations, the study emphasizes the need for competence development for proficient data-driven recruitment. To address the enhancement of personnel competency in the recruitment process, this study poses the research question: "How can football organizations effectively promote competence development to optimize their utilization of data-driven recruitment?" The results highlight the importance of targeted education, combining expertise in data-driven recruitment with a broad skill set.

Aim: The aim of this study was to explore the care providers' experiences in enabling communionship and solitude in daily living for elderly living in old age homes in a South African context. Method: This study was done using a qualitative analysing method, with empirical data obtained from nursing staff of elderly. The study was phenomenological which aims at deepen the understanding of human experiences as phenomenon. The data was collected by using a groupinterview which included five informants from an old age home in Pretoria. The analysis included two steps; Naive reading and structural analysis in order to transform the individual elucidations into an abstract which had no individual touch.
