Tio etablerade kockar signerade 2004 ett köksmanifest med en Ambition att kunna stärka bilden av det nordiska köket. Detta manifest initierade ett projekt två år senare med målet att utveckla regionen Norden.Syftet med examensarbetet var att undersöka vad som menas med det nya nordiska köket, och att ta reda på vad det nya nordiska köket innebär för den nordiska matkulturen.För att klarlägga det nya nordiska kökets identitet gjordes en dokumentanalys på köksmanifestet och tre av de tio kockarnas restaurangers menyer. Genom att undersöka den nordiska mathistorien och vilka förutsättningar som regionen erbjuder, skapas underlag för att kunna analysera manifestet och de utvalda restaurangerna.De tre utvalda kockarna är ambassadörer för det nya nordiska köket och har erhållit utmärkelser som visar att de driver framgångsrika nordiska restauranger.Det nya nordiska köksmanifestet är strukturerat punktvis och beskriver vad det nya nordiska köket skall representera. I resultatet har manifestets innehåll analyserats och detta har gett en klarare bild av detta. Utifrån den analys som genomförts går det att konstatera att de nordiska råvarorna och tillagningsmetoderna står i majoritet på de menyer som återfinns på respektive restaurangs hemsida..

Sanningskommissioner inrättas för att dokumentera brott mot mänskliga rättigheter. På senare år har dessa blivit allt mer förekommande. Därför har detta fenomen väckt vår nyfikenhet. Vårt syfte med studien har varit att undersöka hur sanningskommissioner kan vara ett medel för ett land att gå vidare efter en konflikt samt vad som påverkar deras följder. Vår undersökning har en teoriutvecklande Ambition där vi har utfört jämförande fallstudier av sanningskommissionerna i Argentina, Sydafrika och El Salvador.

The idea that I put forward in this thesis concerns the democratic system and the threat from discoursive impact on its core values. I focus my normative analysis on three of these democratic values: transparency, accountability and influence ? and what democratic problems the discoursive impact causes in conflict with them. I have used a critical discourse theory to define discourse and discoursive impact, by focusing on the process of discourse, rather than its nature. I deal with the political structure where I claim that the essential relation between citizen and politician is disrupted, due to lack of information and the imminent problems of the existing network society.

The purpose of this study is to examine and explain why three Swedish public libraries failedin their Ambition to act as information services for small and medium-sized firms (SMF). To support this purpose two major assumptions are made:1) Public libraries who plan to run this kind of "business" must act with the same means as "professional" services.2) The service must be adjusted to the information needs of the customer.Based on these assumptions sixteen factors which are crucial to the "success" for this kind of service are presented.Applied to the information services of Lidkoping, Sölvesborg and Västervik, these factors reveal a number of shortcomings and mistakes made by the libraries.To understand this result these information services are seen as parts of a traditional Swedish public "library-thought". It is shown that, fundamental ideas in the way the public libraries are defined, like the responsibility to act in a neutral and democratic way, also characterised the three information services.These ideas together with the opinion of SMF as a "rational" information-consumer resulted in information services who did not meet the information-needs and information-behaviour of SMF..

This study aims to examine how performance management is compatible with the operations at Sida, Sweden?s International Development Cooperation Agency, by performing interviews with representatives from Sida. The public sector is facing increased demands on accounting, which has emerged as an institutionalized social norm in society. The nature of Sida?s operations, however, proves to be highly complex, rendering results based management difficult to implement.

This thesis is a report of the practical aspects and the problems of classification and documentation of a collection of memorabilias from the Crown Princess Couple's Wedding in Stockholm 2010. The collection contains 38 objects collected by Nordiska museet [The Nordic Museum], Sweden's largest museum of cultural history. Nordiska museet has a total collection of over 1,5 million items collected since 1873. My Ambition in this thesis has been to describe my work with the classification and documentation of these new objects and their context. One of the main problems was how to combine the modern objects with the old existing collection within the two classification systems used at the museum.

During spring 2007, I Matilda Lindblom, undertook my Bachelor Degree project in Furniture Design. The supervisors were Agneta Stake at Nola in Stockholm and Leo Jóhannsson, teacher and examiner at Carl Malmsten CTD in Stockholm.The project was based on three elements:? Cooperate together with a producer for professional supervision? Learn to work from a given design brief.? To learn more about industrial production? Learn more about furniture for public areasI contacted a furniture producer called Nola AB, in Stockholm, who became my work partner during this project. The asked me to design a piece of furniture where you can sit and work with a laptop on. The target was for public areas, for example in parks, malls, or at airports.In cooperation with Nola, my Ambition was to develop this piece of furniture that was the answers on their wishes and demands.

AbstractI den svenska högskolelagen anges det att svenska lärosäten ska samverka och informera om sin verksamhet. Något som har kommit att kallas ?Den tredje uppgiften?. Vår Ambition med vår uppsats har varit att genom en kvantitativ och kvalitativ enkätundersökning se hur fyra lärosäten i södra Sverige samverkar med det omgivande samhället. De undersökta lärosätena är; Lunds Universitet, Malmö Högskola, Växjö Universitet och Högskolan Kristianstad.

This study aims at examining the prospects for a policy transfer of a Swedish municipal environmental policy (that of Växjö) to the French urban commune Blois, for which an Ambition of becoming a leading eco-city in France, was declared by the mayor in 2008.In the analysis, emphasis is laid on mechanisms to institutionalize the main environmental policy principles, such as political and institutional structures and processes. Other prospects for an institutionalization of a new environmental policy that are to be investigated are economic structures as well as visions of the different decision-makers concerned. Research methods used in the study are qualitative interviews, document studies and a questionnaire.The findings of the analysis show that today?s prospects for an environmental policy in Blois close to that of Växjö, are clearly limited. The limitations can partly be found in economic structures but these seem to be rather related to a lack of priority amongst actors.

The purpose with this essay is to investigate which factors that are decisive for nurses? propensity for incident reporting. The study uses a descriptive cross-section design. Included are nurses that works at a care unit and who have worked as a nurse for > 1than one year. The survey was sent out to all nurses embraced by the criteria within a subdivision at a hospital in the middle of Sweden.

Background: outsourcing is one of the most obvious and continuous trends that has been able to study during the past ten years and also has had a strong development in the industry. What consequences will follow from an extended outsourcing? Purpose: the study?s overall purpose is to investigate what possibilities and risks that can be connected to an outsourcing decision and how the order of the service will handle the risks. The study will also investigate what management philosophy that will be used and regulate the outsourcing relation and how the company?s strategy will affect the decision and how the process of outsourcing will look like.

Daglig sysselsättning för människor med ett psykiskt funktionshinder drivs av olika huvudmän såsom kommuner, intresseorganisationer och kooperativ. Psykiatrireformens syfte är att förbättra livsvillkoren för den studera målgruppen samt att öka delaktigheten i samhällslivet . Vi som genomför denna studie har tidigare varit yrkesverksamma inom kommunal socialpsykiatri. Genom dessa erfarenheter har vi också erhållit ett intresse av människor med ett långvarigt psykiskt funktionshinder. Vår förförståelse bygger på tidigare erfarenheter i yrket som säger oss att det finns ett begränsat utbud till aktivitet och sysselsättning för den studerade gruppen.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att få en inblick i statens föreställning om psykiskt funktionshinder i historien genom att undersöka två statliga utredningar från 1940- och 2000-talet. De två utredningar heter Betänkande om sinnesslövården (1949:11) och Ambition och ansvar (2006:100). Med hjälp av Foucaults maktteorier om disciplin och normaliserig ska jag analysera utredningarna för att ta reda på statens föreställningar.  För att specificera föreställningarna har jag analyserat temavis. De teman jag har valt är begreppsanvändning, vården och utbildning. Genom en textanalys av utredningarna har min undersökning visat på att föreställningen om psykiskt funktionshinder har förändrats enormt genom historisk tid.

This research is about different perspectives, offered by three mother tongue teachers, one principal and also featuring a representative from Skolverket, on the subject: teacher legitimation for mother tongue teachers, mother tongue teachers opportunity for competence education and the future of mother tongue education in Sweden.The theoretical framework is mother tongue language, globalization, the post-colonial theory, power and social inequality. A qualitative approach was used including five interviews taken place in Stockholm, the results does not however represent the whole country nor the community of Stockholm itself.The result shows that mother tongue teachers thinks the teacher legitimation does not mean anything regarding their already low-status. Even principal and representative from Skolverket express their concern towards the 'non-demand' for mother tongue teachers to get their legitimation and they feel there is a lack of Ambition from decisonmakers to include the mother tongue teachers.As per today there is no higher education for mother tongue teachers leading towards an exam. Mother tongue teachers are worried about their future although principal and representant takes a bright outlook. .
