The aim with this master's thesis is to describe the work process with the graduation film Player, by a composers perspective and given conditions. It provides a detailed insight into how the work was done from the script stage to the end result, scene by scene reflecting about both the musical performance and the collaboration between the director and me as a composer. Today, about 15 to 20 percent of Sweden?s total emission of carbon dioxide can be traced to the household sector. By examining apartment blocks in a life cycle perspective, the origin of the carbon dioxide emission has been charted and analyzed. This information has been used to create a computational model that calculates the total emission of carbon dioxide from a specific apartment block. The results from the analyzed apartment blocks indicate that both the use of energy and the emission of carbon dioxide have been reduced since the 1960s. Through the examination of building materials, it is possible to lower the emission of carbon dioxide that origins from the construction phase of an apartment block.

At Volvo Cars Torslanda's paint shop there is a requirement to in a fast and effective way get an overview of the plants capacity. Therefore a capacity template was constructed as a tool for the engineers at Volvo several years ago. This template has during the years become complicated and outdated. Thus this thesis work will resort as a new capacity template, built from scratch. The new template has been built up based on requirements from Volvo and the concept of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

I den här rapporten redogör jag för framställandet av en 3d-visualiserad interaktiv monteringsanvisning till företaget Leine & Linde i Strängnäs (här efter 3d-anvisning). Företaget tillverkar pulsgivare som används till att mäta rotationshastighet och vinklar på axlar i rörelse.Tidigare var det möjligt för företaget att ge direktsupport till kunderna via telefon, men eftersom företaget expanderar så ökar även antalet supportärenden. Därför var behovet stort av tydliga monteringsanvisningar för att avlasta de ingenjörer som stod för supporten.Jag har med hjälp av intervjuer undersökt vilka moment i monteringen som är kritiska för produktens funktion samt har hög felprocent hos företagets kunder. Därefter har jag tillverkat en 3d visualiserad interaktiv monteringsanvisning som utprovats i jämförelse med företagets befintliga pappersmanual.Arbetet ska inte ses som en generell undersökning av 3d-anvisningar, utan som specifik för montering av Leine & Lindes pulsgivare.Resultatet pekar på en viss tidsvinst samt en ökad formförståelse och positiv upplevelse för målgruppen..

Vår målsättning med detta examensarbete var att ta fram en nödbogseringsmanual till skolfartyget Calmare Nyckel. Denna skulle vara helt i enlighet med de regler och riktlinjer som fanns tillgängliga och underlätta beslutsfattandet för besättningen i situationer som kräver nödbogsering. Projektbeställare var Bengt Karlsson, befälhavare på Calmare Nyckel, och efter ett inledande möte sattes arbetet i gång då i form av ett projektarbete inom ramen för examensarbete. Vi har baserat manualen på i första hand aktuell lagstiftning och riktlinjer men också på andra fartygs nödbogseringsmanualer vi bedömde som bra.Arbetet förflöt enligt utsatt tidsplan och det slutgiltiga resultatet blev väl utfört enligt oss och projektbeställaren.Calmare Nyckel är nu utrustad med en fullt fungerande nödbogseringsmanual som vi med säkerhet kan säga uppfyller alla tillämpliga krav som ställs på en sådan. Vår förhoppning är att manualen aldrig kommer att behöva användas i skarpt läge, men däremot regelbundet fungera som underlag i övnings- och utbildningssyfte..

Title: Go for it! - A study of anxiety in relation to students performing in ensemble class.This study discusses anxiety in relation to students in ensemble performance. The expectations on musicians are extremely high and demanding. They are expected to perform to the maximum of their ability despite both physical and mental pressure. I present in this study the result of the interviews I have performed with three students at Swedish Academies of Music. The study shows that all of the students included are in one way or the other suffering from anxiety in relation to performance.

Background: Men that have gone through treatment for prostate cancer may lose their sexuality as result of treatment. The sexual ability might symbolize manliness, despite age and sexual activities. Aim: The aim of the literature study was to describe; Influence on sexuality and the daily life for men with prostatecancer and their experience of informationneeds. Method: The material for the literature study was searched through databases; 13 scientific articles were selected and two articles through manual search, all 15 articles were examined. Result: Five categories were found in the result of the literature study; physical dimension, emotional/mental dimension, social/practical dimension and informationneeds.

Todays board game manuals have many shortcomings. One of them is that they are not always adapted to the game's target audience.Adapting the language and shape of a game manual for the the target group children, can save time for both parents and teachers, and give the children a chance to conquer the game by themselves. In addition, playing board games can lead to children developing other important properties such as problem solving and independence.This study found that the game manuals inconsistency, tone and the way they adress the reader makes it difficult for children to grasp the content. Many game manuals do not speak directly to the reader, and often describes gameplay in a passive way, which has been shown by this study.This study has resulted in 12 guidelines for writing game manuals for children. In addition, they have been tested with a sample study.

Law firms are defined as knowledge-intensive companies. Due to the dependency regarding the resource of knowledge among the firms employees and to the fact that they often are categorised as a type of professional service firm. The purpose of this study is to investigate the different types of profitsharingsystems as a form of reward with focus on the theoretical differences and effects of the True Partnershipmodel and the Stockholmmodel. In addition to these models we will look into the Human Resource processes of; recruiting, integration, retaining and development of employees. The main purpose of the study is to examine the theoretical level on how the profitsharingsystems effect different Human Resource processes and through the knowledge of these connections using this as an analogy when to analyse other law-firms and knowledge?intensive company?s.

This report presents a master thesis project performed at Elekta AB during the fall of 2013 and early 2014. Elekta is a medical technology company and their main product in the Stockholm office is a gamma knife used for radiosurgery. The gamma knife contains a cluster of a dozen motor servos and motors used for adjusting the patient and the radiation sources over a CAN bus. A self-developed hardware-in-loop simulator running on a PC with LabVIEW is currently being used for integration level testing of the control system of the gamma knife. The simulator has some problems with it not running in real-time and having other performance issues.

Starch is a naturally occurring substance in most plants and is used as energy storage. It is a component that mainly consists of amylose and amylopectin. Together they build a complex pattern which gives starch its specific properties. The proportion of amylose and amylopectin varies in different plants but generally starch consists of 25 % amylose and 75 % amylopectin. There have been discoveries of barley varieties containing 100 % amylopectin called ?waxy starches? or ?waxy barley? as well as varieties that have a high content of amylose, around 70 % and these are called ?amylotypes?.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a safe and painless diagnostic method. The patient may become concerned, suffer from anxiety and experience the examination as unpleasant. Detailed information and a good treatment can reduce anxiety and distress for the patient. The purpose of this study was to illuminate the patient?s experiences in connection to MRI, and to describe the patients needs for information and treatment.

The primary function of a mixer is to keep a fluid in constant motion. All mixing applicationsrequire varying degrees of small-scale turbulence and bulk flow. The performance of asubmersible mixer is measured by the thrust that it produces, while the strength of the bulkflow is dependent on the total amount of installed thrust.In a mixer, the fluid quickly flows past the propeller, and as a result, the current is mainlyaxial. The fluid will also obtain a rotating velocity, or a swirl, though this is significantly lessthan that of the propeller. During the process, the total amount of energy increases in the formof static pressure and kinetic energy.
