Det här arbetet har med hjälp av en kvalitativ undersökning tagit fram framgångsfaktorer för parprogrammering. Detta har genomförts med hjälp av intervju samt enkätundersökningar med sex respondenter. Då litteraturen inte behandlar hur parprogrammering kan bli framgångsrikt har detta arbete haft som syfte för att göra detta. Resultatet har kategoriserats i fyra nivåer. Exempel på framtagna framgångsfaktorer är att:? ledningen måste införskaffa kunskaper om parprogrammering? projektledaren uppmuntrar till byte av par ofta? projektdeltagarna är öppna och mottagbara för konstruktiv kritik.

The starting point of this paper has to do with rapid changes within the information technology and the need for Agile and fast systems. The primary goal is to investigate what happens with recordkeeping practices in Agile environments like service oriented architecture (SOA). It is in the possible transfer between IT architecture and digital archive the area of this paper resides. The paper relates to the Records Continuum model by which records will be considered historical and active at the time of creation. In the Records Continuum model recordkeeping practices and archival requirements will have to be taken into account at the time of creation.This paper concerns SOA from the perspective of Archival and Information science.

As part of an Agile developing team I have in my role as interaction designer also tried to evaluate the ?iPhone Human Interface Guidelines?. With action research I have taken actions to change the workflow and to see what there can be done to make the guidelines more motivating to use. Action 1 tried to make the iPhone components more available and it suceeded, action 2 tried to make the guideline more available in whole and did not work as it was designed to do. The guidelines did not work as a source of inspiriation and I and my fellow designer distanciated us from it.

Som svar på ökade krav på IT-relaterade produkter har de så kallade agilautvecklingsmetoderna uppfunnits. Förespråkare för agila metoder hävdar att bättreresultat kan uppnås genom minskning av tydliga, strikta kravspecifikationer,dokumentation och planering inom projekt till förmån för ett större fokus på småsjälvorganiserande arbetsgrupper och ett iterativt utvecklingssätt.De värderingar och den praxis som är förknippade med agila metoder ter sig vara meranpassade för små företag , på grund av den tunga betoningen på små självständigagrupper och brist på formell styrning och kontrakt. Syftet med detta examensarbete harsin grund i den oppositionen. Vilka omständigheter uppstår när en avdelning på ett stortföretag vill omvandla sin projektmetodik till en agil? Specifikt utförs en fallstudie på enutvecklingsavdelning ett stort IT-företag med över 69 000 anställda världen över.I det studerade fallet visar resultaten att intresset för agila metoder är korrelerat mednärheten till mjukvaruutvecklingsprocessen .

Projects are often spoken of in the terms of rational systems. However, some researchers point out the relevance of viewing projects as sets of relationships. Little is published about what aspects of relationships that are important for the managing of projects. We have argued for the necessity of such research. With previous research, our case study and interviews we indentified communication, responsibility, cooperation, togetherness and trust as important relational aspects in projects.The overall perceived success for projects in this case, was increased with the adoption of new Agile methods.

I ett historiskt perspektiv har leverantörerna försökt närma sig marknaden genom att en tätare relation med slutkunden upprättas. Eftersom dagens företag är hårt konkurrentutsatta krävs en effektiv försörjningskedja med leveranser i rätt tid och rätt kvantitet. Det krävs även att företagen har en effektiv lager- och produktionsstyrning för att tillgodose marknadens varierande efterfrågan. Plannja har under de två senaste decennierna försökt etablera sig på nya marknader genom att köpa upp befintliga bolag. Utökningen har inneburit att företaget har kommit närmare slutkunden och att försörjningskedjan blivit längre.

This paper is about the use of task boards in Agile system development projects. The main focus is on how digitalized versions of the task board can be of assistance during the development process. Our investigation is based on qualitative studies, with system developers of various backgrounds and professional roles, along with studies of relevant literature. The main results are that a digitized version of the task board can increase awareness for the team and be of major importance if it is accessible through the web. On the other hand negative effects of the digitalization can emerge as well.

The Division of Language and Communication at Chalmers uses a web-based language tool, named EngOnline, to teach English grammar. The language tool suffers from some shortcomings. These include stability problems and an outdated interface but, above all, there is no documentation. Because of the lack of documentation and EngOnline?s need of maintenance, the Division of Language and Communication has decided to replace the language tool with a new and well documented one.The new language tool was developed using an Agile work process; detailed documentation was replaced with more efficient communication.

The system will help the sound engineers to position the loudspeakers for optimal sound by simulating loudspeaker configurations and visualizing the resulting sound quality and quantity. To solve this a human-centered design (HCD) approach is taken to implement a system that is truly useful for the users, meaning that they will use it more and hence deliver better sound for the audience.

This paper is about the importance of engagement, cohesion and clarity in offshore outsourcing projects. The focus is on how the communication is handled between co-workers in different countries. My research is based on qualitative studies of literature on the subject, along with interviews with leaders in various companies in Sweden that utilize offshoring to countries in Asia. This study shows that the companies interviewed who utilize offshoring are all taking care to create engagement, cohesion and clarity in their offshore offices. It also shows that companies can succeed with their offshore strategy without using Agile development methods, contrary to what literature on the subject recommends.
