Ökad kommunikation med balanserat styrkort: en fallstudie i kommunal verksamhet
För att nå en önskad vision så behöver en organisation, så även kommuner, styra med strategier mot mål. För att styrningen ska fungera och nå alla medlemmar i organisationen krävs kommunikation av vision, strategi, mål, och budget. I vår uppsats definierar vi kommunikation som dubbelriktad kommunikation där sändaren av ett meddelande får någon sorts respons av mottagaren att meddelandet kommit fram och hur det uppfattats. Vi har i denna uppsats analyserat om balanserat styrkort förändrat kommunikationen av innebörden med vision, strategi, mål, och budget i offentlig verksamhet. Vårt valda undersökningsobjekt, Luleå kommun, är intressant därför att de har en tydlig, politiskt vald vision, vision 2010.
Good Morning, Vietnam! : En studie om hur svenska medieföretag bör gå tillväga för att effektivt anpassa sig till den vietnamesiska kulturen
Introduction and research question: In the global media field, global expansion has become more common and is a way for media companies to reach out to a broader audience. Both advantages and disadvantages come with a global expansion and there are several cultural differences that have to be considered. This thesis will deal with the cultural differences and discuss how a Swedish media company efficiently goes about establishing in Vietnam. This leads us to this thesis' research question: How does a Swedish media company succeed in Vietnam? Purpose: This thesis' purpose is to find out what media companies do to successfully acclimate to the Vietnamese culture and the important aspects of the cultural differences to consider.Delimitation: In order to present a thesis with greater depth and acquire a deeper understanding, the study is limited to examine Swedish media companies and what intercultural aspects are important to consider when establishing in Vietnam. Method: The research we have done is based on interviews, which we thought could give us the accurate information and a good base to stand on.

Quality is the key to a well executed product or service. The construction industry hasn?t highlighted the quality in recent times which have contributed to the construction industry receiving much criticism in the field. The public sees it as an offhanded industry where errors and delays are common.The reason for this is considered to be primarily the lack of time, constant pressure to reduce costs and skills and the ability to communicate between the parties about what the correct quality really means. The industry has begun to realize that it must start setting clearer standards and that there are great opportunities for improvement.This report will give Peab an opportunity to develop their quality work.

Sports facilities are a highly unexplored field, and as of the autumn 2008 no research is being conducted about sports fields at Swedish architecture universities. Very few people recognize the sports field as an area for the architecture profession, and to gain more information about sports fields I have discussed the subject with people with connections to architecture and/or sport. The sports field represents a type of sports facility, a permanent football and/or bandy field surrounded by running tracks with appropriate measurements. Like the city?s physical environment, the sports field is a public place, where outdoor activities take place.
Hinder och möjligheter med jobbcoachning : utifrån jobbcoachers och arbetssökandes syn på insatsen
Abstract This qualitative interview study focuses on job coaching by examining what thoughts, views and opinions the involved parties, such as job applicants and job coaches, have of the contribution. The aim is to highlight the obstacles and opportunities by examining the expectations that exist from both parties as well as how to look at job coaching and its different areas. In this context, examine the similarities and differences between the two parties approach to the contribution. This is made possible through four interviews with job applicants as well as four interviews with job coaches. A grounded theory inspired approach was used to obtain the results of the study.
Konflikthantering i samband med införandet av ett affärssystem
Kraven från omvärlden att organisationer skall högprestera är ett faktum och de trappas upp varje dag vilket innebär att behovet av förändringar i verksamheten ständigt finns på ledningens agenda. Förändringar innebär enligt Ahrenfelt och Berner (1992) alltid en konflikt och många människor har inte förmågan att se möjligheterna istället för hoten. Mastec AB är en industrigrupp, bestående av sju dotterbolag, inom metall och plast med huvudkontor beläget i Huskvarna. Koncernen har valt att implementera Microsoft Business Solution Navision på alla dot-terbolag för att på så sätt skapa ett enhetligt affärssystem. I och med implementeringen har dock konflikter uppstått.Syftet är, med utgångspunkt i konfliktteori, att undersöka vilka konflikter som kan uppstå i samband med införandet av ett affärssystem med anknytning till parallell affärsutveckling samt ge exempel på hur dessa konflikter kan hanteras.Undersökningen påbörjades med en genomgång av lämplig litteratur inom konfliktteori.

Filmmusic is often composed specially for a film. When analyzing film-music it seems very common to study the function of the music in a narrative context in order to see how it cooperates or relates to this narration. In the present thesis I am investigating the interaction between film and music as two ingredients on an equal level. In short: what happens when a filmmaker chooses music that has already been composed for another occasion, even in another time and a different cultural context? My aim is twofold: first to examine current film analytic strategies, secondly to find new ways of comprehend pre-composed music in relation to its new setting in a film.
Gör individuell lön skillnad? : Chefer och medarbetares uppfattning om den individuella lönesättningens verkan på motivation och måluppfyllelse i offentlig sektor. En fallstudie vid Luleå kommun.
Under 1900-talets senare hälft har lönesättning via enskilda lönesamtal, så kallad individuell lönesättning blivit den rådande lönebildningen i offentlig verksamhet. Tidigare utgick den offentliga sektorns lönebildning från löneskalor och tarifflöner, så kallad lönetrappa efter ålder och erfarenhet. Den offentliga sektorn kan anses vara en komplex organisation på grund av dess krav på demokrati, hushållande med samhällets resurser och tillämpande av offentlighetsprincipen. Dessa kan ha en påverkande effekt på hur lönebildningen ser ut samt den individuella lönens funktion som belöningsincitament och styrmedel. Syftet med detta examensarbete var att genom en intervjustudie med fenomenografisk ansats undersöka vilka uppfattningar som fanns ute i den offentliga verksamheten kring den individuella lönen och dess effekter.
Likabehandlingsprincipen i uthyrningslagen - om lön för arbetare inom bemanningsbranschen
In Sweden has the temporary agency work industry settled in an explosive way since the deregulation of the unemployment agency monopole in 1993. The demand of civil right for the employer that is rented out confronts the entire labour law regulation with new challenges.The purpose with this paper is an investigation of the principle of equal treatment in The Swedish temporary agency work act and also to create a deeper understanding of the effects of labour and employment relationship. An investigation of relevant collective agreements will be done to highlight the difficulties the principal of equal treatment is exposed to. Further on is there a will to gain understanding for the wage concept and what possible can be included in the wage concept in relation to the principal of equal treatment in The temporary agency work directive. By using the dogmatic method, an approach to descriptive identifying relevant sources of law and clarify the legal situation in the area.In the conclusions it will be determined that the principle of equal treatment in The Swedish temporary agency work act have different effects depending on if the temporary agency or if the client corporation is tied to an collective agreement alternative if a collective agreement is completely missing.
Dinosaurier i Kurdistan pratar kurdiska : En studie i hur barn i förskolan tänker om och uttrycker sin flerspråkighet
This is an ethnographically inspired study focusing on multilingualism in a Swedish preschool setting. The purpose of the study was to find out how the children perceived their multilingualism and how it was expressed by the children in the interaction with teachers and peers. The research questions were as follows: How is the multilingualism expressed in the day to day interaction in preschool? What significance does the daily interaction with peers and educators have for the children?s perceptions of their multilingualism? How do the children perceive their multilingualism and the value in their multilingual abilities? To answer these question methods inspired by ethnographical studies were used, namely participant observation and semi-structured interviews with the children. Theory was used from two areas; childhood sociology as theorized by Corsaro with the ideas of peer cultures and interpretive reproduction, and the sociology of language with the theory of collaborative empowerment as introduced and developed by Cummins. The children in the study were seen as social actors who are important here and now and who contribute to the development of society. The study showed that the multiple languages were visible in the preschool, but that the Swedish language was upheld as the norm and the language of communication; no children were recorded playing in their ?home language? during interaction with other children.

The purpose of the present paper is to examine the political debate on the education of newly arrived immigrant pupils at secondary school age. The following issues are under scrutiny:What are the goals, expressed by politicians during the examined periods, for the education of newly arrived pupils?What ideas about education and what educational ideals can be observed in the political debate on the education of newly arrived pupils?Has there been any change, during the examined period, in the policy debate on the education of newly arrived pupils?The research material consists of reports and statements of the Education Committee, as well as a number of parliamentary protocols. Two five-year periods, 1971-1975 and 2006-2010, are studied and compared. All in all, the material consists of 23 documents issued during these periods.
Outsourcing av HR : potential eller paradox?
I sin iver att förbli konkurrenskraftiga väljer idag många företag att outsourca de aktiviteter man inte anser tillhöra kärnverksamheten. Human Resources (HR), dvs. en organisations olika personalfunktioner, är en av de verksamheter som numera i allt större utsträckning läggs ut till externa leverantörer.Denna studies syfte var att ur ett arbetslivspedagogiskt perspektiv, problematisera företeelsen outsourcing av HR, vilket har genomförts genom en kvalitativ litteraturstudie. En kritisk och ifrågasättande inläsning av forskning på området, med fokusering på kompetensbegreppet, har kompletterats med teorier kring lärande och kontextuella villkor.Detta har bland annat utmynnat i slutsatser som att outsourcing av HR rymmer både potentialer och paradoxer. Den främsta potentialen ligger i att man genom outsourcing möjliggör för ett samarbete som kan ge ett vidgat perspektiv på verksamheten och dess medarbetare för både moderföretaget och dess leverantör.

Today?s globalisation has opened up borders between countries as can especially be seen with the opening of the European Union. This has increased possibilities of communication and transportation, which has provided companies with greater expansion opportunities throughout the world. However, difficulties may occur when companies choose to establish abroad, for instance when French companies establish in Sweden through subsidiaries, the lack of knowledge and understanding, when it comes to the business culture, customs, and values within the host country, as well as the culture and the structure within the company, may contribute to misunderstandings and inability to work in an amalgamated manner. These barriers are a cause of unsuccessful penetration within foreign markets.

To reduce this figure, as needed, more research in the field of energy efficiency is required.This thesis concerns the heating of buildings. The load on district heating is heavy during certain times of the day.
