PurposeThe aim of the study was to examine the affects perceived by young people aged 18-19 years old after resistance training outdoors versus resistance training indoor. The aim of the study was also to examine if the rate of perceived exertion was affected by whether the resistance training took place outdoors or indoors. What immediate affects are perceived in conjunction with resistance training outdoors and indoors in people aged 18-19 years?What immediate affects are perceived after resistance training outdoors compared to equivalent resistance training indoor in people aged 18-19 years?What perceived exertion level can be seen in conjunction with resistance training outdoors compared to equivalent resistance training indoors in people aged 18-19 years?How does exercise habit correlate with affects and exertion in conjunction with resistance training? Method22 pupils in a secondary school conducted two resistance training sessions, one outdoors and one indoor. A questionnaire about their mood and exercise habits was answered before and immediately after the training session. Rate of perceived exertion rate was also included in the questionnaire the participants received after the workout.

Verktygen i fråga är båda två metoder för att applicera reverb på ljudfiler. The aim of this study was to investigate whether there is a social-psychological relevance in allowing animals to be involved in therapy work. I have examined if the animals may contribute to effects on human relationships between caregivers and patients, and if the animals can contribute to helping patients to achieve better well-being. Through previous research and a quantitative interview I have received answers to the following questions: How are animals used in the treatment work? How do animals affect the relationship between caregiver-patient? In what ways do animals in treatment affect relationships between people? How do the professionals who work with animals believe that animals can affects the patient? I have interviewed people working in different kinds of treatment work using animals. The areas examined include work with animals at youth care, police, disability care, elderly care and school.

BakgrundI bakgrunden presenteras musicerande och fri lek utifrån tidigare forskning. Musicerandet handlar om ljud, rytm och rörelse och finns med oss redan innan vi föds. Det är ett sätt att kommunicera och en början att förstå omvärlden och bilda ett lärande. Den fria leken är en stor del i verksamheten på förskolan där barnen delvis själva skapar sina egna lärandesituationer. Genom musicerande skapas en mening i leken och lyfts till något lustfyllt.SyfteSyftet med undersökningen är att få kunskap om på vilka olika sätt musicerandet gestaltas av förskolebarn i den fria lekens lärande.MetodVi har med inspiration från en etnografisk metod observerat barn i åldern 3-6 år.

Inom landskapsarkitektur hanteras en mängd aspekter som skall formas till stimulerande miljöer. Alla sinnen har betydelse för hur en plats upplevs och förstås. Min erfarenhet av gestaltningsprocesser är dock att visuella uttryck har företräde. I detta arbete har jag därför valt att utforska landskap utifrån auditiva infallsvinklar. Uppsatsen består av en kvalitativ litteraturstudie med syftet att uppmärksamma ljudets potential inom landskapsarkitektur. Grundläggande akustik och människans förmåga att uppfatta ljud finns med som underlag till hur upplevelsebaserade mål skulle kunna omsättas konkret. Vidare behandlas teorier kring utvecklingen av ljudlandskapet och synen på det.

Denna rapport undersöker ljudovana personers analytiska lyssnande till effektljud i en ljudberättelse och även hur olika angreppsätt till ljuddesign påverkar testpersonernas kritiska lyssnande till berättelsen. Detta har gjorts genom att ljudlägga tre versioner av en kort berättelse med tre olika angreppsätt till ljuddesign: realistiskt, hyperrealistiskt- och surrealistiskt ljud. Undersökningen har skett med kvalitativa intervjuer med frågor kopplade till Tuuri, Mustonen och Pirhonens lyssnarmodell. Modellen baseras på en kombination av Michel Chions tre lyssnarsätt och David Hurons åtta känslomässiga komponenter kopplade till ljud. Intervjuerna genomfördes med tolv informanter där elva av dessa inte hade tidigare erfarenheter inom ljudproduktionsarbete.

This paper aims to create a better understanding for how executing private matters during work hours affect the individual worker. In todays world the access to social medias, the Internet and all your friends is easy to access due to smartphones and computers. Prior research as described this both as a threat against the productivity of the worker and the moral of the workplace. While others mean that it is a source of recovery and something positive.This thesis uses a qualitative method and fifteen interviews where conducted with people between 20-30 years, who where working and living in Sweden. The theory of this paper is built on following areas: Time, the line between work and private, together alone, the brain and the affect it has on the dialogue between colleagues.

The essay investigates juvenile offenders experiences of the sanction ?ungdomstjänst? and how it may change attitudes towards committing criminal acts. The essay introduces qualitative interviews with four juvenile offenders, which have all executed ?ungdomstjänst?. The juveniles experiences of features that can be a part of the attitude change have been analyzed with a model of the motivation process, called ?Fyra F?, and four elements of persuading, which can affect an attitude change.

When a videogame is being played it is rarely a static experience. A videogame can consist of various systems that affect each other in an unpredictable manner which makes the player experience unique for every player.Throughout the years developers of games have used random chance in a games programming to affect the user experience. Sometimes it even goes so far as to having entire games based around the idea of the game itself randomly generating content for a player to experience.This paper will examine randomly generated content in videogames. It will take examples from existing ones and describe how they use it, and reason regarding the benefits and drawbacks of having random chance affect the user experience.The paper will step-by-step examine the purpose of various commonly occurring objects and features of a typical dungeon in an adventure videogame. It will reason around their purpose, and figure out ways to use them in a structured  manner so that we can guarantee that there will be no deadlocks that the player can't overcome.This will range from the environments in rooms, the shape of them, to the objects and creatures that inhabit them, such as locked doors, keys, and bosses.

Background:It is always fascinating to observe the events that affect the stock market, especially as the numbers of influencing factors are so many and various. Political elections are important events in society and affect the corporate environment in different ways depending on which political party that is in power. This brings up the question of whether political elections are important enough to affect the stock market; and it is this question we intend to analyse in this paper.Purpose:The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether political elections affect the stock market and to discuss the reasons for any possible affect that might be found.Procedure:An appropriate and thoroughly tested method to investigate if an event affects the stock market or not, is to do an event study. Subsequently we chose to do an event study on whether the Swedish general elections in 2002 and 2006 affected the Stockholm Stock Exchange. In order to give the analysis more depth we have also chosen to interview people with knowledge of the stock market.

The main purpose of this study was to examine the knowledge in biology by immigrant pupils. My investigation is based on the pupil and I have focused on positive and negative factors that affect their performance in biology.The study is based on marks in year 2006/2007, a survey and interviews made with four immigrant pupils at a compulsory school in Västra Götaland.The study indicates that the result in biology of immigrant pupils is lower compared to Swedish.Difficulties in language, the commitments by their parents and their surroundings are the main factors that affect their results negative..

The focus of this research is to investigate how the client's emotions can affect the social worker and how the social worker manages these feelings in order to make the right decisions. We have used a qualitative approach in our investigation. We have interviewed six social workers at social welfare bureaux in southern Sweden. Our theories are ?Nai?ve Theory? and ?Affect Theory?.

This study aim to explore how the conditions of an individual's childhood may affect their coping with trauma. The individuals represented in this study, for the purpose to explore coping with trauma, are individuals grown up under insufficient childhood conditions. This study is based on the assumption that childhood conditions, are a factor of influence on coping with trauma, in a greater extent than it is understood and given credit for in todays society. Our result shows that there is an obvious correlation between insufficient childhood conditions and destructive coping with trauma. There is a need of larger general awareness that an individuals resources for coping with trauma is affected by the conditions growing up.

Denna uppsats behandlar två tillvägagångssätt för att kringgå problemet med upprepande ljudbild i spelsammanhang. Studien jämför om dessa ur ett kvalitativt hänseende skiljer sig och i så fall, vilken av dessa metoder som föredras. Ljudläggning enligt kvantitetsmodellen har jämförts med processeringsmodellen. Kvantitetsmodellen innebär att variationen i ett visst ljudmoment skapas genom att addera fler unika ljud. Fler unika ljud ger större variation.

This report is about an investigation which has been done as an assignment in aninternational company.
