This essay is an attempt to give indications of how pupils in the ninth grade value the arts subjects in Swedish schools. We believe that the subjects in arts education is mainly seen as ?fun? subjects rather than ?important? or ?useful?. However, this is not an attempt to find out the pupils view in a national scale, but instead an attempt to show what pupils may think and how this may affect the art subjects value..

The aim of this study is to investigate how and in which form students come in contact with practical applications in the upper secondary school course Chemistry B. The study is based upon the assumption that all learning is situated in a social environment. The theoretical framework is the design theory perspective, which entails an assumption that the pedagogical tools affect the knowledge content.The empiric materials in the study are collected through three methods: textbook analysis, classroom observations and questionnaires. Two groups of students and their teachers were observed during a section of the relevant course. The textbook analysis focuses upon the same course section in the textbooks of the two groups and compares these books with the relevant section in a third textbook.

The researchers wanted to find out how these variables affect the stock market index OMX S30 which consists of the 30 largest companies on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.Method: This research has been based on a quantitative approach.

Undersökningen tar utgångspunkt i en musikalisk aktivitet inom en fritidsverksamhet. Genom att belysa elevernas lärande från ett kollaborativt perspektiv, som tar fasta på hur kunskapen formas genom ett förhandlande i sociala processer, är syftet att försöka förstå vilka konsekvenser detta perspektiv får för synen på kunskap och lärande. Frågan om hur eleverna blir redskap för varandras lärande undersöks genom deltagande observation. Utifrån olika aspekter, såsom musikaliskt språk och kulturella referenser, framträder ett ömsesidigt beroende mellan eleverna men också mellan eleverna och det materiella, exempelvis teknisk utrustning. Undersökningsmaterialet visar hur eleverna formar en kollektiv praktik, men hur det inom denna ryms ett lärande som är komplext och mångdimensionellt.

Syftet med denna studie var att utifrån ett språkutvecklande perspektiv, i en årskurs fem där man regelbundet tittar på nyheter i undervisningen, undersöka vad sådan undervisning får för konsekvenser för undervisningssituationen, undervisande lärare och de elever som finns representerade i klassen.För att genomföra undersökningen valde jag att använda mig av två kvalitativa datainsamlingsmetoder, intervju och observation. Studien visar att arbetssättet med nyheter ger en vardagskunskap, är ämnesintegrerat och utvidgar barnens språk och tänkande.Den dialogiska undervisningen främjar och skapar förutsättningar för alla elever att möta och tillägna sig ett rikt och utvecklat språk. .

This is a theoretical study of changing relations between men and women in the context of modernisation. Ideas derived from a general theoretical discussion will be illustrated by examples from countries that are going through societal changes affecting the lives of men and women; Uganda, Morocco and Mexico. Focus will be on connections between changes in the public sphere and interpersonal relations in the private sphere. One part examines certain effects of women?s increased participation in politics and in the workforce, concluding that these changes may cause conflicts with traditional values and consequently tensions in inter-gender relations.

Problem: Lunch är någonting som berör de flesta människor och det finns många sätt att äta lunch på idag. Vi har valt att fokusera på lunchen i en restaurangmiljö då här uppstår en socialsituation eftersom man på dessa ställen ofta äter i grupp. Vi upplever att lunchsituationen har förändrats, både vad det gäller val av lunchmiljö och vad man äter. Vi tycker att det är intressant att ta reda på vad som händer i denna situation. Syfte: Med denna studie vill vi analysera och diskutera hur normer styr vårt lunchätande.

Purpose ? The purpose with this thesis is to examine how items can be distributed between stores inventory and an external warehouse. Syftet med uppsatsen var att beskriva och bedöma om TBA var en bra metod för att arbeta med beteendeproblem hos barn inom barnomsorg och skola. Studien gav kunskap om beteendeterapi och behavioristerna genom historik, fakta om tillämpad beteendeanalys samt TBA, som var den metod jag använde mig av. Studien byggde på deltagande observationer. Tre utvalda elever med olika beteendeproblem observerades och analyserades enligt TBA. Sammanfattningsvis pekade resultatet av studien på att TBA var en väl fungerande analysmetod för fastställande av beteendeproblemets typ och art. Som arbetsmetod för beteendeproblem var TBA väl fungerande vid enklare beteendeproblem, men behövde komplitteras vid svårare beteendeproblem med flera bakomliggande faktorer..

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of how a bank?s features and internal factors have affected its choice of method in calculating the capital requirement.Theoretical and Empirical Method: The research strategy of this study has been of a qualitative nature with a deductive approach. The choice of method was depth interviews with respondents from a targeted sample of Swedish banks. These respondents were chosen based on the knowledge they possess as key employees in the capital requirement process and their involvement in choosing their banks? method for calculating the capital requirement.
