In this essay a pilot study on the memory of Swedish Public Service radio news is presented. 30 subjects participated in the study, which was performed during three days, 18 to 20 of November 2013. The material which formed the basis for the study consisted three newscasts of Sweden's most popular radio newscast ?Dagens eko?, which is broadcasted live at 16.45 every day in the Public Service channels SR P1 and SR P4. The subjects listened to the broadcasts each day, and their memory of them was tested the day after each broadcast.The aim of the thesis is to find out which properties of the audience that affect how much ? and what parts ? of a newscast that the audience remember.

The aim of this two year master thesis is to study the knowledge production within the field of Textile Studies at Uppsala University, with special focus on the use of artifact documentation as a research method. With domain analysis as a theoretical framework, ontological and epistemological assumptions as well as historical and social aspects are studied in relation to the research process. Qualitative research methods are used, including interviews, observations and text analysis. In the analysis of the knowledge processes in the field, perspectives on tacit knowledge and the concept of documents, are used as a theoretical basis. In the field of Textile Studies, the artifacts are used as one of the main objects of study, along with archival and pictorial sources. The main epistemological assumptions are that artifact analysis is dependent on a knowledge base, where technical handicraft skills, contextual knowledge and practical experience of object observation are the most important qualifications.

Abstract. Studiens syfte var att undersöka om människan är formad med det Karismatiska ledarskapet redan från tidig ålder. Då egenskaper är svåra att studera, som också litteraturen beskriver, så valdes mönster som är karateristiska för det karismatiska ledarskapet ut, som exempelvis; stark utstrålning, stor kommunikations förmåga, en ledare för gruppen. Dessa mönster valdes att studeras genom observation av en klass där barnen var i sju års ålder. Av datainsamlingen gjordes an analys och tolkning och av detta framkom ett resultat som i sig visade på att det fanns mönster och beteenden karakteristiska för karismatiskt ledarskap hos vissa av barnen.

Syftet med arbetet var att undersöka hur en förskoleavdelning arbetar med musik. Genomen kvalitativ observation undersökte vi hur pedagogerna och barnen använde sig utav musik iden dagliga verksamheten. Vi har tagit utgångspunkt i ett etnografiskt perspektiv ochsociokulturell teoribildning. Data samlades in genom deltagande observationer under femtillfällen på en förskoleavdelning, tre timmar per tillfälle. Resultatet visade att förskolananvände sig utav musik dagligen på flera olika sätt och med varierande syften.

The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate how nearby forests affect the energy production in wind turbines. To reach the purpose a case study is performed on three wind turbines sited on a field in a north-south line at Andersfält in the municipality of Halmstad, Sweden. Approximately 100 meters south of the southern wind turbine a forest is situated. The case study is divided into three sub studies where the difference in energy production, the affect of the forest and a wind meteorology model, WAsP, is studied. The result show that the forest have a significant influence and that the WAsP-model gives an incorrect result of the energy production in wind turbines sited near a forest..

Objectivity is often emphasized as one of the fundamental principles for the auditing profession and is also a requirement for preserving satisfactory professional practice. The multiple company scandals in the first decade of the 21st century have created distrust for auditors? capability to maintain objectivity. The purpose of this study is to contribute with a new way of thinking when it comes to the factors that affect objectivity. Earlier studies have indicated that personality factors may affect work performance in many different fields and this study is exploring the connection between separate personality factors, and the capability of less experienced auditors to maintain objectivity in the relationship with dominating and demanding clients.Data was collected through a survey that was divided into two separate parts where the first part measured the participant?s score on different personality factors, and the other part measured the participant?s score on perceived objectivity.
