When a person arrives at the emergency ward at the Uppsala University Hospital with his or her symptoms he or she explains the problems and then a priority process starts. The staff evaluate at which emergency level the patient is located in a model called Triage. The Triage model helps to decide the priority need and is based upon templates which point out in which of the 5 categories a patient is to be placed, to eliminate any future risk regarding his or her health. A lower triage level means lower priority but implies better health when the evaluation takes place. To obtain optimal effect of the Triage model the evaluation of symptoms must be reproducible so that patients with the same symptoms are placed at the same triage level regardless of whom among the staff conducts the evaluation. The purpose of the study was to see if the resources are allocated based on priority level of the patients.

A Customer Relationship Management system is a system that will be of assistance to help companies succeed in building long term relationships with their customers. Best of Breed and ERP-based are two types of CRM systems. The study has focused on analyzing and examine the need for CRM systems at manufacturing companies. Our question formulation has been:? What need do businesses want to satisfy with a Best of Breed-based and ERP-based CRM system?? Are there any differences in the use of Best of Breed-based and ERP-based CRM system?In this study, we have chosen to carry out interviews and quantitative surveys with manufacturing companies to get their view of CRM-systems.

This paper describes the design and implementation of an automated build system for the JAS39A simulator FUS39A at HiQ:s offices in Arboga. The assignment was to automate the process in which modules are built; the simulator is composed of a number of modules which are built manually at the end of each week, this process takes about a day of manual labor. The system can automatically build a module as either a scheduled service or by manual invocation. The system contains functionality for reporting the build results to any given recipient by e-mail. The purpose of the system is to free up the time put into manually building the modules for better suited tasks by automating the build of FUS39A.The assignment was split into two parts, an analysis part where information of the old system was gathered, tools and methods were chosen and the new system was designed.

Ambulanssjukvården i Sverige har de senaste 20 åren utvecklats från att vara en transportorganisation och köra in sjuka och skadade patienter till sjukhus, till att ambulanspersonalen utför kvalificerade medicinska bedömningar och behandlingar prehospitalt. Inom Svensk ambulanssjukvård används ett beslutstöd Rapid Emergency Triage and Treatment System (RETTS). Nya arbetssätt behöver skapas för att den prehospitala sjukvårdens kapacitet används optimalt till bedömningen av patientens kontaktorsak till rätt vårdnivå. Syftet med studien var att kartlägga ambulanssjuksköterskans grad av följsamhet till att följa riktlinjer för att utföra ambulant bedömning. Metoden var kvantitativ, prospektiv journalgranskning med datainsamling under fyra månader vilket inkluderade 100 patientjournaler. Materialet beskrevs kvantitativt med beskrivande statistik och bearbetats i statistikprogrammet SPSS.

One problem in today?s indoor air quality lies within insufficient ventilation. Dynamic ventilation can be obtained by implementing a Demand-Controlled ventilation (DCV) system. DCV systems adjust the ventilation in a building by calculating the impact made by its? occupants.

The purpose with this study was to elucidate the pros and the cons with a sale support system. This has been narrowed down into two questions: ?What are the pros and cons for a company that have a sale support system? and what are the pros and cons for a company that does not yet have a system?? Configurator that is a sale support system has been studied. It is a system that presents products by accepting different functions, qualities or parts that are possible to match. It can be used in business-to-business or business-to-consumer situations, through different sale channels, namely direct sale, indirect sale and online sale.

This report has explored how to design and develop an ordering system for television and DOOH commercials. Usability theories have been considered and also guidlines for system devoloping, this includes the making of a PACT analysis and a demand specifcation. In the pulp industry, digesters are used to disolve lignin in wood chips. The concentration of lignin is measured and is called the Kappa number. In this thesis, the question of whether an online Kappa sensor, taking samples from the mid-phase of the digester, is useful or not is analyzed. For the samples to be useful, there has to be a relationship between the measured Kappa at the mid- phase and the measured Kappa in the blowpipe at the bottom of the digester. An ARX model of the lower part of the digester has been estimated.

Inköparna får med hjälp av AFP ett beställningsförslag på vilka lagerförda artiklar som ska beställas och hur stor kvantitet som ska beställas hem.Som metod valdes att studera befintliga arbetsprocesser på Klintberg & Way samt att delta i implementeringsprojektet på företaget.Jag valde att intervjua personer från inköp och personer som har någon anknytning till inköpsavdelningen som påverkar deras arbetsrutiner.

If P&C Insurance Company faces a challenge when their treasury system needs a new interface to a software as a service application. They need a suggestion for configuration for how the system and the application can work together. The work presented in this report is a suggestion for how you can make business configuration of an IT-based Treasury System in general. This thesis presents the implementation of a knowledge base system for rough sets [Paw92]within the logic programming framework. The combination of rough set theory with logic programming is a novel approach. The presented implementation serves as a prototype system for the ideas presented in [VDM03a, VDM03b]. Vid första anblicken av detta problem kan det verka ganska enkelt. Vad många gör är helt enkelt att skapa en tidsdiskret beskrivning för varje mod i det styckvis affina systemet var för sig och behålla de gamla modgränserna. Detta visar sig dock kunna ge ett felaktigt uppförande hos systemet.
