OpenGL is a standard API that is used to manage 3D graphics on desktop computers. Although OpenGL is independent of customized hardware it?s not suitable for all kinds of devices. Therefore both OpenGL ES andWebGL was created. These can be viewed as subsets of OpenGL.

Within the Swedish school and the public library communities it is generally held as a truth that reading of fiction develops the empathic ability of the reader. This opinion is also expressed in political guiding documents for the school system and cultural sector. This paper's main hypothesis is that there is no assembled theoretic ground for the statement that reading of fiction develops the empathic ability. The investigation consists of two parts, the first being theoretical and the second empirical. Definitions of what empathy and reading is, are reviewed in the first part.

The question formulation in the essay brought up whether Clas Ohlson works today with their graphical productionflow and if that way of working leads to a desirable result in press. After a dialogue with Clas Ohlson it emerged thatthey had certain problems with the material that came out of the printing presses. Certain colours were not reproducedaccording to the stated values that had been developed. In March -08 an analysis of the graphical production flowspresent situation were done at Clas Ohlsons in order to find out how they worked with their production of print materials.In the analysis, their way to work with color spaces, displays, ICC-profiles, PDF-exports, pictures and printerswere examined. Occasional interviews were also implemented with responsible personnel about how they worked withdifferent aspects.Deficiencies were found on almost all examined parts in their graphical production flow.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate and discuss the current state of game research and its potential usage in didactic situations. The essay is divided in two parts. Part one consists of an attempt to comment preceding contemporary game research and address possible myths that have been established. Part two aims to discuss games narrative capacity and function in education using the theories and terms laid down by Wolfgang Iser and Gérard Genette.Contemporary game research tends to focus on classic retro games, trying to form theories for a general understanding of the media. This is a useful method as long as the purpose of the study is to define how game mechanics and layout are formed.

This essay, called Motivation and reading comprehension, is a study of the correlation between the motivation to read and the reading comprehension of Swedish students in their final year of school before university level, meaning that they are eighteen or nineteen years old, sometimes more.The relation between the identity of the individual and the learning process has been a matter of scientific interest for some time, and this essay works in that tradition by investigating the connection between how pupils regard reading and how well developed their ability to decode text is.The reading comprehension is measured through a test that consists of a text from the Swedish epic by Vilhelm Moberg, Invandrarna, where the reader at certain intervals throughout the text is asked to mark the correct word from a choice of three. This test has been used and evaluated extensively by Per Fröjd, who has found that the results are reliable and useful.To measure the motivation to read I?ve constructed a survey to be answered before taking the reading test. It focuses on three different parts of reading motivation that are noted as the most important ones by Ivar Bråten. These are the feeling of joy and interest for reading, the goal to acquire knowledge of a specific subject, and the expectations that you have on yourself as a reader.Results show a weak or non-existent correlation between the two factors for the whole of the subjects, but once those who have a first language other than Swedish are removed the correlation becomes significant.

This Master?s thesis provides insights into adult women?s fictional reading within the conceptual phrase ?a good book?. Studien avser framtagning av skidkläder, en jacka och en byxa i herrstorlek, där designen bestäms av de funktioner som man vill uppnå i plaggen. Studien är gjord i samarbete med ett externt företag som valt ut uppdraget. En undersökning har genomförts för att få fram vilka underlag som krävs för att plaggen ska gå att sömförseglas med tejp, vilket därmed gör plaggen vattentäta.Under projektets gång har olika metoder använts för att nå slutresultatet. Digital mönsterkonstruktion, toilesömnad, avprovning och gradering är de främsta metoderna. Projektets mål har varit att leverera sömnadsprov på båda plaggen i samma material som plaggen senare är tänkta att tillverkas i.

Detta examensarbete är gjort på uppdrag av Fiber Optik Valley. Huvuduppdraget i projektet var att skapa ett fungerande betalningssystem för en hotspot och att utveckla företagets webbsida. Hotspotsystemet som baserades på en gratistjänst från Public IP, är tänkt att kunna fungera delvis autonomt utan ägarens ingripande. Företagets webbsida skapades i en Flex2-utvecklingsmiljö och produkten blev en Adobe Flash-applikation. För att få ett dynamiskt och konfigurerbart system skapades även en kontrollpanel till webbsidan åt företagets webbadministratörer, så att innehållet på sidan ska kunna förändras utan att behöva kompilera om koden.

Inger Edelfeldt (1956) and Bengt Martin (1933-2010) are two Swedish writers of different generations. Both of them did, between the years 1968 to 1983, write about adolescent men coming to terms with their homosexuality. Edelfeldt wrote two versions of the same story, with slight but significant differences, the main being different implied readers (adult versus adolescent). Bengt Martin wrote about three young homosexual characters: Joakim, Bengt and Bengt. The story about Joakim is presented as fiction but bears many resemblances with Martin?s autobiography.

We want to identify the gap that consists of the expectations we have of Brazilian / Swedish culture with the self-image of these individuals included in the culture of question. This gap, we believe, creates a problem for business across borders. För att få ett så bra resultat som möjligt, och minska antalet prover och förändringar och därmed även korta ner produktionstiden, är det viktigt att ha en bra grund att utgå ifrån.Arbetet gjordes i samarbete med företaget Franchetti i Göteborg, och uppgiften var att ta fram grunder med en korrekt gradering åt en av deras kunder, efter kundens behov och önskemål. Utöver detta fick jag dessutom själva designa och ta fram en eller flera egna modeller, och detta resulterade i två egna modeller.All konstruktion och gradering har gjorts i Lectras programvara Modaris. Utöver det har även Lectras programvara Kaledo använts, samt Adobe Illustrator och Excel.I mitt arbete har jag använt mig av kunskaper inom konstruktion och gradering som jag fått under min utbildning och för att få fram önskat resultat har jag testat mig fram genom att göra mönster och sy upp prover.Denna rapport behandlar tillvägagångssätt vid framtagandet av grunderna och dess gradering, samt produktutvecklingen av de två modellerna, problem som uppstått under arbetets gång och det slutgiltiga resultatet..
