The first vampire film I ever saw was Interview with a vampire. ?I haven?t been human for two hundred years?, opened up not only the film, but a whole new world I knew nothing about. The world, as it were, opened its doors to me again after I had seen the film Adaption of Stephenie Meyers Twilight. I decided to write down a few thoughts, capture my frame of mind, and these paragraphs then turned into a text: ?I tankarnas skal?.              When I did research for this essay I discovered that my text held certain similarities with the modern vampire novel.

Individual Adaption to the student´s needs is a recurring main theme in the new Swedish curriculum (Lgr11). The purpose of this qualitative study is to examine how teachers work with individual adjustment for students with reading and writing difficulties. The study was based on five questions;In what way do teachers organize their teaching in the classroom individually for students with reading and writing difficulties?What methods do they use for student´s with reading and writing difficulties?What difficulties do they encounter in their teaching?How do the teachers reason to curriculum goals regarding individual Adaptions?How do they think about their own knowledge regarding reading- and writing difficulties and dyslexia?The method for my study was qualitative interviews. Five teachers were interviewed in semi-structured interviews.

This thesis describes redesign and Adaption of a products housing. In order to make it more economical to produce at a lower production volume. The thesis is based upon a prototype that a previous student developed for injection moulding. The goal is to find alternative manufacturing methods, but also to identify parameters that affect the cost of the injection moulding tool.The housing must be tough in order to protect the circuit board inside. But at the same time it must allow sound, light an electrical communication to pass through.

Syftet med den här studien är att skapa en modell för att öka förståelsen för etablering av kulturberoende produkter i andra kulturer genom att analysera samband mellan spridningsmekanismer, anpassningsmekanismer och upplevelser.Då begreppet kultur är brett har vi valt att avgränsa studien till matkultur. Anledningen till detta är att ämnet är aktuellt i Sverige då regeringen ämnar marknadsföra Sverige som ett ?matland?. För att Sverige ska betraktas som ett ?matland? krävs förståelse för etablering av kulturberoende produkter i andra kulturer.För att få ett helhetsperspektiv av hur etablering av kulturberoende produkter går till har empiri insamlats genom verklighetsbaserade exempel samt genom intervjuer med personer inom kultur och matindustrin.Vi har sett att det finns samband mellan spridningsmekanismer, anpassningsmekanismer och upplevelser.

The purpose of this thesis, was to study decision processes and the importance of information management in the processes within an academic organisation, which led to the work with Adaptions according to the law of Equal Treatment of Students in Higher Education, (SFS 2001:1286). A general question was formulated concerning how different information- and knowledge flows interact within an academic organisation and its library during the decision processes. The questions at issue we have tried to examine, concern the factors that have influenced the participants´ choice of information during the decision processes, in their work of adapting the law of equal treatment, and how these choices have influenced the priorities that were made. The theoretical starting point was basically Cohen, March and Olsens Garbage Can Model. We also found the author Chun Wei Choo´s descriptions of organisations, as systems of information processing, useful for parts of our thesis, especially the parts that deals with the role of information management within the decision processes.

Process standardization is a topic that has generated a lot of research and literature. At first, the focus was on production; today processes are used in all different kind of business areas.The aim of this study has been to analyze how processes can be applied on development businesses and how IT systems affect the result of the process. To accomplish this, we have asked questions such as what standardization is in a development process? Why are the processes standardized? What difficulties can appear with standardization? And how the IT-systems affect the result of the process?To answer these questions, we have preformed a case study on Saab. Saab is a well know Swedish company who are working with a project called the GMS-project, where they develop processes to cover the whole company´s business areas.The literature gives the reader an understanding of processes and standardization.

This research is based on the observation that people in the service industry is being replaced by technology.  This insight formed a foundation for the presentation of the problem this essay is based upon. We began to speculate over how tourist information bureaus handle the changes, regarding information technology, in their surroundings when their main task is to inform and communicate with their market. Information technology has created new possibilities for organizations to reach their consumers and it has influenced all kinds of industries. We decided to examine organizations in the tourism sector because it is one of the biggest and fastest growing industries in the world. The entering of information technology in the tourism industry has changed its structure and we want to examine how tourist information bureaus succeed to deal with this phenomenon.The aim with this essay is to examine how and to what extent tourist information bureaus integrate with changes in their surroundings caused by information technology and which values that slip away/ is added by the Adaption.

In November 2008 the National Library of Sweden decidedto switch classification system from SAB to Dewey decimalclassification. SAB had then been the main classificationsystem in the whole of the Swedish library field for 87 years.Included into the decision was not just the nationalbibliography but also the research libraries of Sweden. Thisdecision was in alignment with a West European tendency tochange in favor of the internationally well-spreadclassification system Dewey in order to co-operate more inthe cataloguing process. The purpose of this study takenplace in the autumn and winter of 2013 is to examine howlibrarians involved in the transition feel about what differentways the implementation has affected the research libraryorganizations. We also aim to study the librarians? view onthe involvement of the research libraries into the decision ofthe changeover.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine libraries which combine the functions of school- and public library and to evaluate the staff?s experience and attitude towards a library profile with the emphasis on children and youth. The purpose of the study is also to examine how the libraries work with several tasks and functions within different target groups with different needs.With new institutionalism and Scandinavian institutional theory the thesis examine the library as an organization and what influences the construction. With a model that describes how the library constitutes four different rooms in the society I investigate the different functions.The methodology is qualitative with interviews of five persons of the staff, four librarians and one library assistant. The study examines how the staff that works at two libraries under similar conditions experiences their tasks.

The globalization of today?s society has enabled consumers to acquire products and services from all over the world. Global organizations have the entire world as a playfield and offer products and services across markets. Regardless perception and transparency of the global market, consumers are still individuals. Consumers may have different perceptions and ideas about products, their functions and usage.

Purpose ? The purpose of this study is to identify and describe how consumer perceptions regarding information quality, sender credibility and effect of eWOM-communication differ between Facebook and Prisjakt.Approach ? Based on previous research an analytical model was designed. The parts in the model were the aspects of the problem which the present study aimed to examine. An experimental design was applied in which ten students at Örebro University were exposed to a scenario where they took part of eWOM-communication concerning a specific product on Facebook and Prisjakt and then had to answer questions in an interview. The analytical model formed the base of the interview guide used in the interview and the specific product was chosen with help from a focus group.Implication ? The study illustrates that consumers may perceive the quality higher on Prisjakt while the sender credibility can be perceived higher on Facebook.

Bakgrund och problem: Städernas ekonomiska tillväxt och ökade koncentration av människor leder till ett ökat behov av varor och tjänster. Detta genererar ett ökat behov av urbana godstransporter, som främst sker med lastbilar. Distributionen sker i en innerstad som byggdes upp i en tid utan anpassning till bilar och där ett stort utbud och efterfrågan samsas om en liten yta. Aktörerna vill dock verka i ett område utan för mycket trafik. Butikerna vill exponeras, konsumenterna vill inte konkurrerna med lastbilar och transportörna själva vill ha bra tillgänglighet när de ska distribuera godset.

Organisationer som är verksamma inom forsknings- och utvecklingsintensiva branscher befinner sig idag i en både dynamisk och komplex omgivning, vilken erbjuder ständigt uppkommande möjligheter och hot. För att en organisation ska kunna ta till vara på ständigt uppkommande förändringar förutsätter det i sin tur en adaptiv förmåga. Denna uppsats avhandlar den kombination av adaptiva kapabiliteter som en organisation måste tillskansa sig för att en sådan adaptiv förmåga ska kunna uppnås. Uppsatsen är indelad i två delar. Den första delen ämnar beskriva de adaptiva kapabiliteter som kan användas för att en adaptiv förmåga ska uppnås.

Sustainability questions that concern the subjects of environmental and social aspects are increasing in today?s society, and therefore the sustainability report is a way for companies to show their work with sustainability development by working with a clear report and follow up. As the first country in the world, Sweden has decided, as from the financial year of 2008, that all governmental owned companies should present a sustainability report according to the guidelines of GRI. The aim of this essay was to identify and analyze actual events from a sustainability aspect for Vattenfall, from a medial perspective during the time period 2005-2009. We made a content analysis of one company?s sustainability reports during a time period of five years and we connected this to the medias reports of the company from the same period, to see if there were any connections between the subjects that media had elucidated.

Cancer är en sjukdom som väcker många tankar och känslor. Tidigare värderingar och prioriteringar i livet ifrågasätts och omvärderas oftast av den som drabbats av cancer. En allvarlig sjukdom som cancer kan bidra till stress och påverka kroppen på flera sätt, försämrat immunförsvar är ett av dem. Coping är ett begrepp som innebär individens sätt att hantera en svår situation. Coping delas in i två huvudgrupper, emotionell- och problemfokuserad coping.
