Denna uppsats behandlar ett beslutsproblem i ett stort högteknologiskt företag, nämligen att prioritera mellan investeringar i utvecklingsprojekt för produkter. Dessa projekt har två mål, att utveckla funktionaliteten eller att minska driftskostnaderna för produkterna. Företaget anser att dessa mål är svåra att uppnå samtidigt och att en ökning av funktionaliteten får till följd att driftskostnaderna stiger. Företaget vill veta den optimala fördelningen av investeringar mellan att utveckla funktionaliteten och att minska driftskostnaderna.En modell utvecklas för att representera dessa fenomen. Prognosticerade värden används i modellen vilket gör business case till ett centralt begrepp, vilket redogörs utförligt för.

SammanfattningSyfte: Finna forskningsbaserade underlag för hur fysisk barn- och ungdomsträning bör bedrivas, från nybörjarnivå som barn (ca sex år) till avancerad nivå som ung senior (ca 18 år) och koppla detta till innebandy.Frågeställningar: Finns det perioder under uppväxten då unga idrottare är extra mottagliga för en viss typ av träning? Hur bör träningen utformas under uppväxten uppdelat i delkapaciteterna: aerobt, anaerobt, styrka, rörlighet och koordination/teknik?Metod: Systematisk litteraturöversikt av befintlig forskning inom det valda problemområdet. Sökningar i databasen EBSCOhost har utförts. Från sammanlagt i 713 st. artiklar har tolv artiklar sållats fram som gick vidare till dataextraktion.

The climate changes and the global warming have a great impact on the Arctic environments. This partially depends on that the albedo is getting lower when snow and ice is melting and exposes more and more dark surfaces of the land and sea. This leads to a feedback effect; the melting accelerates because dark surfaces attract more sun radiation. Because of the heating the glaciers in Arctic retreat. The purpose of this report is to obtain an eventual change in elevation on the glacier Lomonosovfonna that is located on Svalbard by comparing elevation data collected by NASA and GPS data from 1996-2012.

This project examined the possibility to create an electronical aid with the purpose of increasing environmental awareness and to design the aid in a fashion that inspires other to develop similar applications. The impact of car traffic was examined, and the base of the aid was built up in modular form to simplify the hardware aspect. For the active, data processing part of the aid the Arduino platform was chosen because of its simplicity and big possibilities of help in different internet fora, for those who choose to create similar applications in the future. The main part of the project var the use of real-time information from the car?s on board diagnostics.

Thesis purpose: The aim of this paper is to extend the knowledge of what influences the purchase decision of functional food in the store. By applying the M-R model in a new setting - the dairy department in grocery retailing in Sweden - and adding variables related to health attitudes, the aim is to contribute to existing research concerning in-store purchase decision making and store environment as well as consumer attitudes. Methodology: This thesis employs a quantitative strategy with a deductive approach and data has been collected with questionnaires. Theoretical perspective: Environmental psychology serves as an overarching framework where, more specifically, certain aspects of store atmospherics and some variables concomitant to health attitudes provide the theoretical base. Empirical data: The empirical data consists of customer purchasing a functional food product, Proviva, and this is contrasted with a test group, Bravo.

Det finns idag ett stort behov av att kunna klassificera stora mängder data på ett effektivt sätt. Prediktiv modellering är ett område inom data mining där prediktioner kan utföras baserat på tidigare erfarenheter. Dessa prediktioner presenteras sedan i en modell. Avvägningen mellan tolkningsbarhet och träffsäkerhet är ett begrepp som beskriver hur träffsäkra modeller ofta är ogenomskinliga, medan genomskinliga modeller ofta har lägre träffsäkerhet. Detta är ett problem eftersom det finns ett behov av modeller som är både träffsäkra och tolkningsbara.I denna studie visas hur man kan gå till väga för att skapa en modell som har en träffsäkerhet i klass med en ogenomskinlig modell, men samtidigt har en högre tolkningsbarhet.

The purpose of the report was to findout how push and pull of touristinformation can be balanced on Internet.The empirical data was collected with a feasibility study, a survey anda case. AbstractThis study is about describing the pre- internationalization phase and to studycompanies that are in this phase. We are trying to capture characteristics of decisionmakersin the pre- internationalization phase, to then compare the theoretical materialwith empirical material from case companies. Then in the final stages of the thesis, wewant to account for if we managed to answer our research questions. In the method, wegive a description of the approach selected in conjunction with the study. The study isqualitative and we used both primary and secondary data, with a deductive approach.The theory chapter will consider the most relevant theories that are related to the topic,which is internationalization, pre-internationalization, international entrepreneurship,and the psychology behind personalities, attitudes, and how these can affect theorganization's strategic decisions.

Det finns flera olika metoder och tekniker för tredimensionell rendering, alla med olika för- och nackdelar som lämpar sig för olika applikationer. Voxelbaserad rendering har använts flitigt inom vetenskapliga områden, främst inom det medicinska för visualisering av volymetrisk data. Tekniken används nu inom flera olika områden för tredimensionell rendering, t.ex. i datorspel, i matematiska applikationer och vid geologisk rekonstruktion. I den här rapporten kommer voxelbaserad rendering med Marching Cubes-algoritmen undersökas för att se hur den lämpar sig för realtidsapplikationer.

The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of how cooperation functions between the health services and social services within Sollentuna County Municipal area regarding clients and simultaneous or double diagnoses. Focusing more specifically; the paper also aims to provide additionally, an inquiry as to how the implementation of the Gemensam Individuell Vårdplan (GIVP) (The Integrated Individual Service Care Programme or (GIVP) functions within the Sollentuna Municipal County Area. The questions asked in the paper are: How do the Municipal and County Council personnel experience how the (GIVP) system functions in Sollentuna? How do the Municipal Council and County Council personnel respectively describe their own and their cooperative sister services rolls in terms of the implementation of the GIVP system in practice? The projection activates a hypothesis and tries to explain how the cooperation functions and provides an assessment as to how it functions or not as may be the case in practise. The authors attempt to achieve this using a combination of methodologies.

AIMS AB is a Swedish company that develops and sells inertial sensor systems. A new product is under research which basically is an aided inertial navigation system where unwanted drift is eliminated. This can be done by integrating a GPS reciever into the system and fuse measurement data from GPS and IMU. Such a product is useful in racing, where engineers always are searching for the optimal performance and the shortest lap times. Today the only feedback the engineers and mechanics get from their work is the driver?s comments and lap times.

Different educational and professional backgrounds play important roles in how school librarians prioritize activities in the school library. Whether the school librarian has a background as a teacher or as a librarian, they influence and apprehend the activities of the school library differently. The aim of this thesis is to find out how the school librarian looks at his/her commission. What shifts in priorities can be recognized depending on whether the librarian has training as a teacher or a librarian. This thesis also analyzes how the two different professional backgrounds justify their priorities in the school library.

What affects Hiv in South Africa's different provinces? This thesis examines if education, unemployment rate, GDP per capita, and the literacy rate has any relationship with the Hiv prevalence. This is analyzed using theory and data in the form of a simple microeconomic model and an econometric regression analysis based on cross sectional data of the provinces of South Africa. The regression analysis shows that unemployment rate and education have significant effects of the Hiv prevalence in South Africa. The microeconomic model in the thesis indicates that when education is higher, individuals are more aware that the probability of being infected by Hiv is higher when the Hiv prevalence is high.
