Introduktion: Kombinerad konditions- och styrketräning i olika varianter är vanligt förekommande inom idrott på alla nivåer samt rehabilitering. Forskning har hittills visat att träningsformen under vissa förhållanden kan ha en hämmande effekt på styrkeutveckling jämfört med enbart styrketräning. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka och utreda om kombinerad konditions- och styrketräning har en negativ effekt på styrkeutveckling jämfört med enbart styrketräning. Metod: Sökning utfördes i de fem databaserna PubMed, Academic Search Elite, AMED, CINAHL och MEDLINE vilket till slut resulterade i att 18 artiklar inkluderades i studien. Dessa granskades och poängsattes enligt PEDro-skalan som sedan översattes till SBU:s kvalitetsbetyg och evidensmall.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how theory and practice intertwines through theactivism of the feminist punk performance collective Pussy Riot. I have also focussed on the political tools with which the activism is performed. Within the academic context of gender studies, I believe there is a need for research that aims to reduce the gap between scholarly and activist feminism. The theoretical framework for the analysis in this essay consists of material feminist theory and postmodern theory. The empirical material is a diversified assemblage of images, court excerpts, newspaper columns, interviews, lyrics and videos.

Aim:In this study, women were interviewed about their experiences of recovering from an eating disorder - The aim has been to investigate the factors that contributed to recovery and with guidance of these factors, find factors that can be used in a preventive intervention.Method: A qualitative approach was used to design and conduct interviews, the design of the study was descriptive and a semistructured interview was used. The local affiliation of The Swedish Eating Disorder Association was contacted and provided contact with 10 women who participated in the interview. To participate in the study the women had to be recovered from their eating disorder for at least two years. The women who patricipated in the study were between 22 and 36 years old and had been recovered for 2- 16 years. Data were analyzed and coded then categories with similar themes about the factors that were important for recovery wad etablished.

Motivation är en betydelsefull kompontent för en individs utövande utav studier. Studien utgick ifrån motivationsteorin Self- determination theory. Syftet med studien var att redogöra för relationen mellan högskolestudenters demografiska faktorer och vilken typ av motivation som driver dem till att utöva studier, samt relationen mellan motivationstyperna. Med typ av motivation avses amotivation, inre samt yttre motivation. Studien bestod utav 102 studenter, varav 49 män och 53 kvinnor, från en högskola i mellersta Sverige som fick besvara enkäten The Academic Motivation Scale.

Syftet med denna studie var att söka kunskap om användningsområden för mjuk massage inom cancervård som en komplementär behandlingsmetod till medicinsk behandling. Metoden var en litteraturstudie där artiklar söktes i databaserna Academic Search Elite och PubMed via Högskolan Dalarnas nätverk. 12 artiklar, varav nio kvantitativa och tre kvalitativa, ligger till grund för litteraturstudien. Artiklarna var publicerade mellan åren 2000-2010. Artiklarna kvalitetsgranskades efter vedertagna granskningsmallar.

Stone walls in agricultural land are incorporated in the general protection of biotopes. They are protected because they provide a habitat for endangered species. Therefore it is illegal to carry out proceedings in an area that is included in the protection of biotopes. In order to do that, exemption is needed which can only be granted if there are special reasons. The public libraries were quick to adapt to the changes that the Internet brought on, and today library websites are an important part of the public library. To meet the needs of teens today, the library website could offer a range of contents to make it an attractive place on many levels; both the academic needs as well as social and recreational needs should be addressed.The aim of this thesis is to evaluate public library websites for teenagers in Sweden, and to examine how well the websites address the developmental tasks and needs that teenagers have. The method used is website evaluation, one quantitative and one qualitative. A total of 60 public library sites for teenagers were evaluated, using 11 criteria based on Havighursts developmental tasks. The quantitative evaluation measured how many functions each website had per criteria, and showed that the majority of the sites had one or two functions for most of the criteria.

The Anglo-Saxon trust is not a new phenomenon, but existed as early as in the Middle Ages. The concept is customary among common-law countries, such as England the US,but unfamiliar to civil-law countries like Sweden. The aim of the thesis is to examine discourses about political violence categorised as ?ethnic? in academic literature and the media. Employing the method of discourse analysis, the study analyses news coverage of the wars in former Yugoslavia 1991-1995. The theory applied is based on Michel Foucault?s theory of the relationship between power and discourse in the constitution of knowledge, and the main arguments are supported by the work of the political scientist V.

The purpose of the study was to investigate how inventories of suspected polluted areas as a part of the planned control of existing companies cab be designed in order to achieve as great effect as possible. The study was conducted in cooperation with Piteå municipality. An analysis of regional inventory projects, local municipal strategies and a pilot study in Piteå was conducted. The experience from both the regional projects and the pilot study was that in order to achieve an effective control a number of factors were inportant: an efficient selection of companies, a good dialogue between the controlling agency and the companies, sufficient resources, education of municipal inspectors and guidance for decisionmaking. Another inportant result was that the municipal planning can prevent an efficient inventory if the control of city development projects is allowed to take time from the planned control.

Introduction: In Sweden the definition of ambulance nursing is the examination and treatment of sick or injured people done by ambulance nurses during transport.  This means not only focus on the illness or injury but also the human being treated. The paramedic service must be based on the presumption that the medical needs of the patients are guaranteed, and that the expectations and demands of the public are satisfied. Competence and availability are basic terms for a well-functional paramedic service. There is a lot of pressure put on the people working with pre-hospital nursing. One mistake can lead to serious consequences for the patient.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att ta reda på hur lärarens skriftliga respons uppfattas av elever och hur de arbetar med den samt hur lärare tänker kring skriftlig respons. För att finna svar har vi valt att använda en kombination av en kvalitativ och en kvantitativ ansats. Undersökningen har genomförts i form av två fallstudier i två olika utbildningsmiljöer. Undersökningen består av sammanlagt sex elevintervjuer, två lärarintervjuer och 41 deltagande elever i en enkätundersökning.Båda uppsatsförfattarna gör var sin fallstudie som innebär att intervjua en lärare och tre elever vardera samt genomföra en enkätundersökning. Undersökningen visar att eleverna i respektive fallstudie uppfattar den skriftliga lärarresponsen som positiv.

I den här uppsatsen undersöker vi sex pedagogers tankar och erfarenheter kring undervisning av flerspråkiga elever i årskurserna ett till sex. Vi fokuserar främst kring hur de arbetar för att stärka elevernas språk i NO-undervisningen. Pedagogerna arbetar i två större kommuner i södra Sverige med en varierande andel flerspråkiga elever i sina klasser. I vår bakgrund skriver vi att det finns stora skillnader mellan meritvärdet hos elever med svensk bakgrund och hos elever med utländsk bakgrund. Allra svårast är det för de elever som kom till Sverige efter skolåldern, men även föräldrarnas utbildningsnivå spelar stor roll för elevernas skolresultat.

The aim of this Master thesis is to examine the institutionalization of Library- and Information Science in Sweden. I focus on the period 1978-1991, and pay special attention to the development of the discipline at the University College of Borås. My main method of investigation has been analysis of printed sources. After a brief description of the discipline and its history internationally, I describe how research and graduate education in Library- and Information Science developed in Sweden during the 20^th century. A major part of the thesis is an analysis of three reports from the chosen time period which are all, with slightly different prerequisites, trying to find a solution to the problem of how to establish Library- and Information Science as an academic discipline in Sweden.

Arbetsmarknaden är en viktig arena för att människor ska känna sig delaktiga i samhället. För dem som länge befunnit sig i ett utanförskap är det svårt att få ett jobb. Sociala arbetskooperativ har som mål att integrera utsatta grupper i arbetslivet och har blivit ett viktigt inslag för en inkluderande arbetsmarknad. Undersökningen omfattar tre sociala arbetskooperativ som ingår i ett konsortium. Arbetssättet som används i den arbetslivsinriktade rehabiliteringen kallas karriärstöd.
