In this examination paper I?m using the qualitative method: phenomenographic analysis to present twenty educated and working pre-school teachers opinions about being outdoors in Swedish pre-school. The purpose is to describe the variation between different pre-school teachers? opinions, not to focus on wrong or right.    The paper starts with a review over the opinions presented by the literature on the subject.

In the centre of Bromma, east of Brommaplan is the part of Bromma named Riksby. Riksby was built in the early 1940:s as a part of the westward expansion of Stockholm. Bänk eller stubbe? : En studie om hur pedagoger använder utomhuspedagogiken i sin

Syftet med denna studie är att försöka reda ut hur utomhuspedagogiken används bland pedagoger på grundskolan. Vi vill ta reda på vilka uppfattningar pedagoger uttrycker kring utomhuspedagogik samt vilka syften och mål pedagogerna har med att undervisa ute.Undersökningens resultat grundar sig på en kvalitativ studie där vi har tillämpat halvstrukturerade intervjuer på åtta pedagoger. Undersökningen är även gjord på tre olika skolor i Sverige med olika socioekonomiska förutsättningar och olika fysiska miljöer.Arbetet resulterade i att vi kom fram till att utomhuspedagogiken används bland pedagoger men dock väldigt sällan. Syftet med utomhuspedagogiken bland pedagogerna har teoretiska utgångspunkter, de är alltså väl medvetna om hur metoden kan stimulera barns utveckling.Något som framkom var att pedagogerna upplever mycket problematik kring utomhuspedagogiken vilket skapar ett stort glapp mellan teori och praktik..

Utedagar i teori och praktik. En studie av utedagar i klass 2-3.

Syftet med följande arbete är att undersöka betydelsen av utedag ur ett pedagogiskt perspektiv genom en studie av utedagar på min partnerskola, klass 2-3. Arbetet ger en teoretisk översikt över fenomenet utomhuspedagogik. Med hjälp av intervjuer ville jag undersöka elevers och pedagogers uppfattningar om utedagar ur ett lärandeperspektiv och koppla resultatet till teori. Sammanfattningsvis pekar resultaten av min undersökning på att pedagoger och elever har en positiv inställning till utedagar. Eleverna är medvetna om att en utedag innebär undervisning ute och upplever att de lär sig en mängd olika saker.

Utomhuspedagogik : Undersökning om lärares uppfattning om utomhusundervisning i NO ämnena

Mitt intresse för utomhuspedagogik har väckts under min lärarutbildning, speciellt på min verksamhetsförlagda utbildning där jag kunde observera hur utomhuspedagogiken används i skolan.Syftet med studien är att undersöka vad utomhuspedagogik innebär för lärare, vilken inställning de har till elevernas inlärning inomhus respektive utomhus, anser de att utomhuspedagogik bidrar till elevers större förståelse för NO ämnen, i vilken utsträckning de använder utemiljön i sin NO undervisning samt vilka målsättningar lärare har för elevers lärande i utomhusmiljön.Metod som jag har använt i min undersökning är den kvalitativa intervjumetoden där sex lärare har fått möjlighet att svara på ett antal frågor som handlar om utomhuspedagogiken och på det sättet fick de framhäva sin ställning och sina tankar.Resultaten av min undersökning visar att majoriteten av de intervjuade lärarna har positiv inställning och uppfattning om utomhuspedagogiken samt att mer än hälften använder den i sin undervisning. Studien visar bland annat att olika metoder, avsikter och sammanhang varierar. Resultaten visar även att de lärarna som inte använder så mycket utomhusundervisning har angett tidsbristen och schemaplaneringen som orsak..

Naturskolan- en metod till lärande? : Outdoor teaching - A method for learning?

The purpose of this essay is to find an answer to whether the methodology used by the Naturskolan conduces to learning and also if the Naturskolan, as a method of its own, leads to an increased interest in natural science for the pupils participating in the classes at the Naturskolan.The method which has been used to reach the results of the study is a quantitative opinion poll. The results reached through the study has been compared to previous research in the subject. Deeper studies were made to examine however the interest of the pupils was influenced by their visit at the Naturskolan.The results of the study show an increase of interest in natural science after visiting the Naturskolan. It also shows that the teachers? interest in natural science and outdoor pedagogy has increased by the visit at the Naturskolan.Through this study we came to the conclusion that the Naturskolan is a good method to learning..

This study reviews outdoor educational activity, its contents and qualities, whose basis rests on reform educators as Dewey and Freire. These pedagogues? methodology is based on the interaction between theory and practice, reflection and action.
