The textile business is one of the oldest industries of our time, and it employs nearly 1.4 million workers within the European Union alone. It is not unusual that this is the foundation of a country?s industrialisation. Even though the industry brings many positive factors, there are also negative factors that will influence the industry?s growth in the future.

During the last couple of years the focus for many businesses have moved from just being price oriented to include such factors as quality, flexibility, service, delivery precision and environmentally friendliness. The shift in viewpoint arises from the increasingly competition on the market and the hard economic atmosphere. It has become more important to differentiate the company and its products to be able to increase market share. The purpose with this master?s thesis was to get a better understanding on how companies (customer to DHL) are reasoning and prioritizing when choosing Swedish carriers.

Det finns en tydlig trend att soloföretagandet ökar i tjänstesektorn. På grund av effektiviseringar, politiska sysselsättningsåtgärder tvingas och lockas allt fler till att starta företag för att hålla sig kvar på arbetsmarknaden. År 2003 stod soloföretagen för 58% av det totala antalet företagskonkurser. Anledningen till detta är dels okunskapen som finns när man tvingas ut i företagande, men framförallt resurssvaghet. För att klara sig i hård konkurrens behöver soloföretagen någon form av resurskomplettering.

Teachers and special education teachers play a vital role in the creation of a study environment that fosters productivity in students. The current study aims to further expand the knowledge regarding teacher?s perception of common work with developing an optimal study environment within the classroom and the educational institution. In order to achieve this, qualitative interviews have been performed and study results analyzed according Nilholm´s model of the three different perspectives on special education: The critical perspective, the compensatory perspective and the dilemma perspective.The study results show that the concept of order and study environment is not clearly defined among the interviewees. However, the concept appears to presuppose the teacher?s responsibility to create the sense of security and effective study environment to those students who express the wish to educate themselves (Children make the things right only if they have been shown the correct way to do it).

Diet and lifestyle are closely interrelated and believed to have a significant influence on four major public diseases - cardiovascular disease, cancer, hypertension and obesity, but also affects functional deficiencies like gluten- and lactose intolerance. Health added-value foods are thought to reduce health-related risks or delay the onset of these major diseases. Therefore, interest among scientists, researchers and the public in general has been growing remarkably over the last decade regarding these special foods. The Swedish market seems to be a good target for health added-values food. However, as there are many risks and cost factors involved for companies to enter the market or invest in R&D, it is important to take a step back and analyze the current market situation.

Consumers seem to become more demanding in their buying behaviour within the fashionmarket. The society refers to individualism, personality and creativity, which affect people?s wayof dressing themselves. Many companies have started to work with aspects that create aconsumer experience to meet the customers? new demands.

I dagens samhälle finns många företag som hanterar stora mängder information varje dag. Dessa företag har svårt att manuellt överblicka all information. Den stora mängden data kräver automatiserade processer för att utvinna intressanta mönster som människor sedan kan tolka och använda som underlag för vidare analys. En sådan process är klusteranalys vars syfte är att dela upp datamängden i olika segment för att kunna få en djupare förståelse för hur olika faktorer påverkar. Det ställs höga krav på att presentationen kan förmedla informationen på ett effektivt och enkelt sätt ifall de ska kunna användas av människor som, inte själva kommer i kontakt med arbetet med utan, bara använder resultaten som ett underlag i sin yrkesroll.

Bakgrund och problem: Forskning kring hur informationsutgivning påverkar ett bolags kostnadför kapital är mycket omfattande och relationen mellan mängden lämnade upplysningar och desskoppling till kostnad för kapital beskrivs som ett av de ?fundamentala sambanden? inomredovisning och finans (Leuz & Schrand, 2009). Sambandet har bland annat undersökts avBotosan (1997), som fann ett negativt samband mellan kapitalkostnad och upplysningsnivå iårsredovisningar. Botosan och Harris (2000) beskriver hur investerare på kapitalmarknaden drarnytta av kvartalsrapporter och vi finner det därför intressant att undersöka både årsredovisningaroch kvartalsrapporters påverkan på företagets kostnad för kapital.Syfte och Avgränsningar: Vi ämnar besvara vår forskningsfråga med utgångspunkt frånBotosans (1997) studie och hennes valda variabler för mätning av upplysningsnivå. Ett specifikt segment som Swedbank är intresserade av att locka till sig är universitetsstudenter. I dagsläget erbjuder Sveriges stora banker enbart klassiskt finansiella mervärden till dessa studenter. Detta innebär att bankerna inte särskiljer sig, vilket i sin tur gör att studenterna inte lockas till att byta bank eftersom samma mervärden redan erbjuds hos deras nuvarande banker. Magasinprogrammet Go?kväll sänder i regel fem program per vecka under hela vinterhalvåret. Programmet produceras och sänds ut av SVT allmän-TV i Umeå. Till vissa delar av programmet önskas gäster som uttalar sig om aktuella ämnen. Vid några tillfällen har redaktionen upplevt att man inte kunnat plocka in de mest optimala gästerna för kommentarer på grund av rent logistiska skäl, i regel att den efterfrågade gästen i fråga inte kunnat närvara fysiskt i Umeå, ofta på grund av kort varsel, något som nuvarande programutformning kräver av alla som medverkar i direktsändning.

ITT Water & Wastewater (ITT) är en ledande leverantör och tillverkare av dränkbara pumpar, luftare och omrörare. Examensarbetet fokuserar på pumpstationer för trycksatta avloppssystem. ITT vill genom detta få ett underlag för vidareutveckling av pumpstationerna Compit och Micro 7G, i syfte att göra dem mer konkurrenskraftiga. Målet med arbetet var att utreda vilka delar av pumpstationerna som är i behov av vidareutveckling och presentera förbättringar.Pumpstationer för trycksatta avlopp består av en pumpsump till vilken en självfallsledning ansluts. Avloppsvattnet pumpas vidare i en trycksatt ledning till det kommunala avloppet.
