Tillväxt med Corporate Social Responsibility

En studie om huruvida CSR påverkar Volkswagen Groups strategi till att bli den största bilförsäljarkoncernen.

The report assesses the typical questions regarding Corporate Social Responsibility within the automotive industry. An attempt as to whether Corporate Social Responsibility has an impact on growth companies is demonstrated. Volkswagen Group is within the required analytical criteria, which are to be studied. Also, the fact that they recently launched ?Strategy 2018? makes it even more interesting to immerse into. ?Strategy 2018? is based on becoming the number one automotive company in regards to car sales. Literary studies were compiled to obtain a scientific and theoretical basis for this matter. Subsequently, a case study was described to connect and understand Volkswagen Group?s ideas from a theoretical and scientific standpoint. It is evident that the different automotive companies are identical in their CSR questions, especially in environmental issues. The case study was obtained through reports, Volkswagen Groups annual 2010 report, interviews and mail contacts from Sustainability Asset Management. The conclusions were that no clear evidence, about the relationship between CSR and growth companies in terms of economic growth, was apparent. However, indications of an economic growth with CSR were evident, which was determined by the contacts in Volkswagen Group and analyzing the reports.
