K2 eller K3 - Hur påverkas redovisningskonsultens arbete?

The purpose of this study is to illustrate teacher humor by critically examining it from an interpersonal- and humor communicative-perspective; and to discuss teacher interpersonal humor communication-skills in relation to the Swedish high school curriculum, collegial relationships and pedagogical aspects. The study?s empiric material consists of semi-structured interviews with six high school-teachers currently working at the same school, but of different age and gender. The interviews indicate that the informants all have developed humor competence, an interpersonal communicative-skill that allows them to use humor efficiently. Moreover, the result demonstrates that the teachers have various humor approaches but that they all use humor in the classroom for much of the same reasons. Overall they identify the social function of humor as most important; humor as an approach to facilitate relationship building in the classroom. Furthermore they use humor to inspire the subjects at hand, as a part of the actual subject teaching, and to interact with colleagues on different levels. In this study it is suggested that teachers´ humor competence embraces a purely pedagogical dimension; thus it can also be viewed from a strictly professional standpoint. It is implied that the professional/pedagogical dimension of their humor competence allows teachers to essentially control the classroom activity. In addition it is also suggested that teachers´ professional humor competence is an important factor for developing humor competence in students; something that can be viewed as an important part of curricular objectives to give students a rounded education and in doing so preparing them for working life.
