The store manager can make great benefits of having an eye on how the Staff works towards the customer, because the personnel is an important tool when competing with other stores. This paper is focusing on the part that relates to the Staff in the store, which is one of the key tools in the competition for customers after the customer made it to the store. Many stores have guidelines which the Staff should follow when they meet with customers. If the Staff is too tightly controlled by these guidelines, customers can perceive the first encounter with the Staff as artificial and as if the genuine friendliness does not exist. It is important that the Staff looks at the individual customer and treat every customer in a personal way and that the Staff can see the customer?s needs.

With some help of a few interviews, with children, and some Staff members, in two different schools, I hope to answer the question: if the picture of the operation, that the children and the Staff are having, has some similarities, and I will try to compare these pictures with what some legal documents such as Lgr 11 and Kvalitet I Fritidshem is saying about daycare opera-tions? To be able to run a successful daycare center, is never an easy thing. The key to success is to make parties, like the Staff, children and their parents to feel happiness, when it comes to things around and about the daycare center. The result shows that both the children and the Staff are expressing a frustration around the daycare operation, because they feel that there being wrongly answered, by a higher authority. The children are frustrated of how the Staff is answering them about different things and the Staff is frustrated about how the headmasters are answering them.

The aim of the literature review was to investigate how relatives to a person suffering from dementia, in institution, experienced the nursing hom Staff and the relation to them. The study was based on eight scientific articles. The result gave thirteen themes, that showed that relatives experienced the nursing home Staff having a hard work under pressure. They were nice but without knowledge. The relatives experienced that the nursing home Staff didn´t see or hear them and gave no confidence.

What distinguishes these views of Staff on users? motivation at centres for learning in public libraries?The methods used in this study are: literature studies, qualitative interviews and questionnaires. Interviews and questionnaires were done with six employees at six centres for learning.

When young people are placed in residential care, the Staff have a responsibility to ensure that the youth have a safe environment where they can thrive and develop. Residential Staff also have responsibilities to ensure the rights of youth during the residential care. This study aims to examine how Staff consider themselves to treat the youth in residential care. Furthermore the study aims to examine how the Staff consider themselves to ensure youth their right to be heard and have an impact on their own lives, in agreement with Article 12 of the UN convention on the rights of the child (CRC). A qualitative method has been used in order to answer the study's purpose and issues.

The aim of this study was to understand how Staff at residential homes for unaccompanied children experiences their professional role. The main focus of the study was on how the Staff defines their professional role and how they handle the situation to be close and at the same time keep a distance towards the children in care. Five women and two men were interviewed at five different residential homes for unaccompanied children. By symbolic interactionism we are able to see that the professional roles are shaped through interaction with the children in care as well as in relation to colleagues. The main role for the Staff is to build up a relationship with the children.

The method of this study was a literature review. The result showed that norms and rules not always are adjusted to caretakers? wishes and needs.

Today, one of the foremost tools used by the library Staff is the library catalogue search tools. It has come to our understanding that some library Staff are dissatisfied with how the search tools works. The aim of this study is to illuminate the library Staff's negative experiences of the search tools, and to present a basis for future discussion and development. To our help we have used a quantitative survey which were sent to library Staff that used one of the two largest integrated library systems in Sweden, BOOK-IT and Mikromarc. The questions regarded the library Staff's perception of a number of features in the search tools.

The aim of this observational study was to see how social interaction works in nursing homesdayroom. The focus was to study the Staff and the residents during lunch, afternoon coffee,and during the eventual common activity. The observation persons were passive and they didnot communicate with either Staff nor with the residents. The theoretical framework usedwas Georetrendens theory, KASAM and Communication theory. The results showedthat social interaction in the dayroom of the nursing home is rarely spontaneous, but mustinstead be planned by the Staff.

Äldre döva och kommunikation : en kvalitativ studie av kommunikationens betydelse

The purpose was to study what significance communication has for the psychosocial health of elderly deaf people who live in old peoples homes. I also explored how communication works between the Staff.- How do the Staff feel the communication works between members of the Staff and between the Staff and the residents?- How do the Staffs think that the Staffs' knowledge of the culture of the deaf community and sign language affects the psychological health of the residents?- What changes have the Staff noticed in the residents since they moved to the ward?In order to accomplish study this area I have used semi-structured qualitative interviews and observations.The main conclusion of this paper was that the possibility to communicate in ones own language was fundamental for the psychosocial health of the residents. The people I interviewed expressed that communication between the residents and the Staff worked well, but communication was a problem between the Staff members. Knowledge of the culture of the deaf and sign language, within the Staff, had a positive influence on the psychosocial health of the residents.

The aim of this Master thesis is to make a survey of the public library Staff-relations at work and discuss relationship marketing as it applies to public libraries. Relationship marketing involves the establishment, maintenance and development of users and other library-related relationships, including the relations among the library Staff itself. Good relations among the library Staff is a necessary condition for good relations with others. The focus of relationship marketing is at the user?s needs, wants and demands instead of the library collections and services.

The purpose of this study was to analyze how the key Staff concept is used in residential care for children and young people and which role the key Staff concept plays in the organization.The study was based on semi-structured qualitative interviews with six key Staff and two managers from two different residential care facilities for children and young people. The theoretical perspective used was the neo-institutional theory and Hasenfeld´s term Human service organizations.One of the conclusions of the study was that the key Staff describe that they have a central role when it comes to the treatment of the children. Another conclusion showed the variety of tasks that the key Staff have, like the administrative work that they do. They also have an educational role, similar to the one that parents normally have which means that they are responsible of parenting the children. They also described themselves as a link between the children and their social network.

Omsorgspersonalens tankar och arbetssätt kring sexualitet : En kvalitativ studie på grupp- och serviceboenden för personer med intellektuell funktionsnedsättning

The aim of this study was to acquire a greater understanding and knowledge about how care Staff at houses with special services for people with intellectual disabilities think and work (handle situations) regarding sexuality. To achieve our goal we carried out nine semi structured interviews using an interview guide. These interviews took place in two different communities in southern Sweden. The theoretical perspectives that were used to analyze the result were Sense of Coherence, Scope of action and Normalization. The result showed that the Staff considered sexuality a part of their work and a natural subject to talk about.
